The Ibis Styles Victoria Hotel is in an excellent location. Close to good eateries, shopping and the free city tram, so it is easy to get around. The room is small, however the bed and pillows are comfortable. The bathroom, however didn't have a soap holder. It appeared to have been broken and not fixed. The air condition in the room had a loud humming sound. The restaurant next door to the hotel offers 20% discount on dinners for accor card members and has great Thai and Western dishes to ch... I must admit, when seeing the word "heritage" in the room description, I usually think "small and pokey". I was pleasantly surprised. The room was large. The bathroom was a decent size too. The shower head was fabulous. The location is truly unbeatable. Will definitely stay here again

... the rest is not. really, there are only two good things about this hotel. the entrance hall and the location. the rest is bad, really bad considering the price you pay for the room. my room was full of black marks on the walls. the toilet seat had scratches and something like plastic drops (not water drops, see picture) on it, which you can feel when you sit. when i arrived, there were visible colored fingerprints on the bathroom door and hairs on the bathroom wall. after the first night, ... Spent two nights at the Victoria Hotel while visiting Melbourne to attend a concert at Festival Hall. The hotel was in a great location, one street over from the Bourke street mall. Close to shops and restaurants. Less than a 5 min walk to trams. The room was nice. The view that we had was average, but the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was newly renovated-really lovely. Air conditioner worked well. Was very happy with our experience here and I would definitely stay here again. :)

This hotel dates way back to when melbourne was developing as a big city in the late 1800s. The hotel has been well refurbished and teh facilities are modern. The room was good- the wifi good, the AC good, the shower good and the location is ideal for CBD.

This Ibis ticks many boxes. Our room was a reasonable size, large TV with Foxtel. Clean bathroom, desk area, mini fridge, free Wi-Fi & cupboards for storage. Good advice for tourists from Receiption, including discount vouchers. The adjoining restaurant has a good breakfast which is not over priced.

This hotel has a number of good points. For central Melbourne it's reasonably priced, in fact I would say cheap. It also has excellent free wifi. That's where the good stuff stops. My room was TINY only just enough space for my admittedly large suitcase, if there had been two of us we would've been pretty challenged to get around it. The room was clean, and had a good shower room with a walk in shower - as I get older I appreciate that more and more! The hotel is huge, which means that your ... Read more

We needed a hotel to stay in as a transit until We made our way to Echuca for a friend's funeral. We stayed two nights. I rang the hotel first in the hopes of making a direct booking. Due to the tennis the hotel (and many others on the booking.com website) were doing the same or so it seemed. We had stayed there before so I booked it through bookingmcom because booking direct would have cost me morem personally i think this arrangement is ludicrous. Hotels should have a rewards system ... Excellent location, good, friendly staff, clean, modern room. Our room had a somewhat claustrophobic outlook (small window onto an interior ) and was noisy at night due to some machinery (air conditioning? ) outside. Otherwise would have been rated very good. Good value breakfast buffet during Australian Open and a good on-site restaurant.. Be aware that you have to pay to store your luggage, but the self-storage locker system is efficient. .

Very centrally located. Walking distance to all CBD attractions. Transport on your doorstep. Great gym, sauna, spa and plunge pool looking over the rooftops of Melbourne. One night in to a 7 night stay, I requested a room change for a room with a larger window. The Front Desk staff couldn't have been more helpful.
