I have reviewed this hotel before, and always a 5. Read my previous reviews. We always stay 15 to 17 days and always come at least once a year, sometime twice. This time I'm givng it a 4 for only one reason... the awful music and party on the beach. It was on our side of hotel and lasted until 1 a.m. No reason for this. It happened on two nights. Other than that, this is a wonderful place to stay. We have been to Aruba about 10 times, the last 5 or 6 at the Phoenix. And we will keep returni... Read more

This was my second stay at Divi Aruba Phoenix. It is in a great location where you can walk to many restaurants and shops. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. My room.was ready earlier than expected and it was clean and comfortable. The pools and hot tub are clean and well kept. They had a cocktail reception one of the evenings we were there and it was quite enjoyable with the dancing, raffles and cocktails. We did a water aerobics class three of the days we were there and the instruct... Read more

My uncle is an owner and gifted my husband and I a week vacation here at the Divi Phoenix. From the time we checked in to the day we checked out we had an amazing time and were met with friendly staff. The first night I was a little under the weather and the waitress at Purebeach brought me lemons and honey to have in the room for tea. We stayed in a one bedroom suite with an attached one bedroom studio where our friends stayed. I really enjoyed having some amenities of home like a full-size kit... Read more

This was our third visit to Aruba and second to Divi Phoenix. It's a great location and walking distance to the hi rise shopping and dining area. We have always rented a car to get groceries and tour the rest of the island. The supermarket is walkable but bring your own bags because they don't use plastic. The rooms are nice with all the comforts of home. Getting a spot on the beach is a bit of a challenge as you must compete with the Sunrise Gang for a palapa. Be on the beach by 6:00 am to clai... Nice setting, clean beach with good ocean frontage, tremendous shortage of palappas one has to get on line by 6am to have a chance of getting one when they start assigning them at 7am. Go down at 9am and you have no chance of getting one. Both restaurants decent. The challenge is avoiding the high pressure timeshare sales staff.

We stayed in the viillas which had only four floors ocean view which we liked since we did not have to deal with the huge hi rise and people. The Phonix was the last hotel on the hi rise strip which made it more quiet and not busy. You would not need a car once there except to go for groceries. Have your own beach with hut shade and your own cove to swim in without the crowds. A beautiful pool with swim up bar. Two restruaents with happy hour everyday. One restruaent had eating on the beach... Read more

Honest Review based on my experience with other timeshare properties and resorts in Aruba and other Caribbean islands. Pros 1. The property is very beautiful and well kept. 2. The 1 bedroom rooms in tower B are very clean and spacious. Very nice kitchen with everything you need if you wish to eat some meals in the room. 3. Very nice pool with enough shade. Cons 1. Beach experience: HORRIBLE. When I go to the Caribbean I go for the beach and not for the fancy restaurants, fancy rooms and pam... Read more

Divi Phoenix is one of our favorite resorts. Beautiful views of palm beach, perfect location, great restaurants and sunshine! A walk down the boardwalk on the beach takes you to all the other resorts, casinos and restaurants.

Upon arriving, we were underwhelmed. It was "fine" but did't blow us away. HOWEVER, after exploring the island and other hotel areas, we are so thankful to be here. It is so handy to it's beach- like steps away. It's tucked away in it's "own" little spot and feels very, very safe and quiet. Up in the high rise hotel area, it feels incredible congested, tourist-y and loud with massive hotels. The Divi Phoenix is a lot of older timeshare people. Not a party scene, but we didn't want a party... Read more

Divi Phoenix has a great location! Can walk to almost everything you want to do and a very short ride to large grocery store and some high end restaurants. Their own restaurant on the beach has GREAT sunsets, great food and service. The quality of the bar food at the beach bar restaurant was great also. Everyone is friendly, its a Happy Place on the Happy Island!
