The hotel is in the fab location of Palermo Hollywood, and a short walk to Soho & Viejo - super safe and loads of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The room we had was huge, and clean. The facilities were slightly out dated and worn out but I donâ??t think thatâ??s unusual for BA. The girls at the front desk were very helpful which more than made up for it - we were barely in the room anyway! There is also a cheap coin laundrette which is useful.

My brother and I spent 4 nights here before going to Patagonia and another 3 nights when we returned to Buenos Aires. Great location in a safe area, only a few blocks from the subway which gets you to all the main areas of the city and close to restaurants and shops. Rooms we stayed in were modern, clean and nicely presented with excellent, comfortable beds. The few small detractions, like loose towel hooks and sparse utensils for self-catering were more than made up for by the three girls on th... Read more

We have used PT as our base in BA and Argentina and so have returned after each trip out of the city. We had our first six days here. It is so well located for the exploring of the city. The front desk are all amazing and can help organise anything that with language is more difficult. That includes recommendations as well. The girls who share the desk are a brilliant piece of recruitment by the owners and worth their weight in gold. The rooms are outstanding in size and shape, value for money a... Read more

We stayed here three times as Buenos Aires airport seems to be necessary for several connections. The staff was very helpful in every instance. The first time they let us leave a bag for 10 days as we would not need it until we visited friends. The second time our flight was cancelled from Iguazu only to be "replaced" (10 hrs later) so we arrived at 3AM (7/24 staff) and needed to leave again at 8AM. Grateful to have a bed and not sleep in the airport. The rooms are large with comfy king sized b... Read more

Overall I was pleased with the hotel; excellent staff, good location, nice to have basic kitchen facilities and a variety of local dining options. Subway stop 2 blocks away. But the flow of hot and cold water seems erratic. You are trying to squeeze a few drops of warmth out of a cool shower when suddenly a blast of hot water forces you to leap clear of the shower where your wet feet land on a slippery floor. Hardly a crisis but a potentially dangerous quirk. Front desk folks helpful on local qu... Read more

I've stayed at this hotel many times, most of my stays have been pleasant but this last one was not. The hotel is going down hill fast. First, the kids that work in the front desk are clueless. One day I left early and I requested they clean my room but came back at 3 pm and it was still undone. The maid came around 6 pm but told her to go away. Next, I asked for a wake up call on my last day and they never did, thank you God for my phone. The worst thing was the mold in the bathroom, it was gro... Read more

I stayed in this hotel last year with my sister and got to it through Tripadvisor recommendations. It´s a boutique hotel located in Palermo Hollywood, kind of isolated from Palermo Soho, the most popular zone of the neigbourhood, by a railway. We didn´t walk to that zone by night because it seemed king of dangeorus. The hotel itself is in a buiding that doesn´t looks like an hotel, but when you get in you get in you realize that this is part of its identity as a boutique hotel. You feel a re... Read more

We stayed at Palermo Tower prior to going Iguazu Falls and on a cruise out of Buenos Aires. The room and bed were clean and comfortable. Even after arriving near 1 am we were checked in quickly. The clerk was helpful with suggesting places to eat, directions to Metro (which is very close), and scheduling our early morning taxi to the city airport to go to Iguazu Falls. The area looks seedy but seems fine. I really enjoyed the stay and would stay there again!

The hotel's name makes it sound big and grand, but it's actually quite small. The staff are welcoming and speak good English. The rooms are stylish and well-furnished; ours had a mini kitchen area and small balcony. We liked the simple rooftop area with plunge pool and a few loungers (bring your own drinks!). Breakfast is okay - not great value if you have to pay extra for it, but there are few options nearby even after 10am. Plenty of lunch and dinner options though a few blocks away in Paler...
