We stayed here as part of a tour, so stayed two separate nights, in different rooms, two weeks apart. Location is fantastic, being only a block from Place de Mayo and several metro stations. Our first room had a broken light switch with exposed wires, threadbare towels and a musty smell. The bathroom of the second room had ants around the sink (I squashed more than 15, although I couldnâ??t tell where they were coming from) and also had a broken light switch but wasn't dangerously so. I visited Buenos Aires due to some family commitments, and needed a small hotel located in a central area of town. This lovely hotel was just what I was looking for! Located half a block from 2 Subte (Underground Metro) Stations, a few steps away from a main Avenue, Pharmacies, Cafes, Restaurants, Minimarkets and a convenient Shopping Street. The Hotel Staff was kind, helpful and very pleasant anytime they were approached for any queries or information of any kind. My room was small but neat an... Read more

Location is fantastic providing there is no demonstration in the square! I had holes in the towels, toilet leaked, but the shower was amazing! Rooms are clean, no in house dining at night, as a woman travelling on my own I would have liked to have eaten at the hotel. I would not stay here again, but if you're after location - it's in the perfect spot. Make sure you ask for a back room - I was on the first floor and could hear reception activities. It's a busy street so quite noisy

One of the worst place I have ever been. Rooms are dirty, bed linen also. Beds are very uncomfortable. Bathrooms are disgusting. I advice not to go. Breakfast is OK, but lack of choice. For this price you will get much better places in Buenos.

After travelling for 28 hours we were worn out as you can imagine, dreading not being able to check in until 2pm. As it was only 8am when we arrived at the hotel. But, we were met with friendly staff who seemed to understand and were in a room by 8.45am. So appreciate that. I know we were lucky as the room was vacant. Also, my husband couldn't unlock his case, and the staff sorted that out in no time also. Had showers and were then out exploring. Come 2pm.we were back exhausted, but that earl... Read more

Having left it to our TA to book a full package for our holiday, it was a surprise to find we had been booked in at the Reino Del Plata, a hotel we had stayed at on our last visit 5 years ago. Arriving at 8am after an overnight flight from Europe we didn't give much hope to our room being ready, and indeed it wasn't. However the hotel pulled out the stops and had it cleaned and habitable within 90 minutes. We passed the time with a coffee from the breakfast room and a comfy seat in the light and... Read more

Good location (easy to get lots of places on foot), comfortable and clean room, helpful staff and decent breakfast (including fruit salad). Not luxurious but perfectly good for what we wanted. We would be happy to stay here again.

We decided to stay in this hotel because it was budget friendly. However there are few points on which hotel can work on and which doesn't cost a lot of money. 1. Welcoming - 3/5 just ok. Maybe it was a language barrier but when trying to explain to us, receptionist told: yes your room is free but is dirty so they need to clean it.. Just the way of saying can be different. 2. Rooms - 3/5 good 3. Breakfast - 4/5 very good but please make sure that what you offer is always available. We spent 3 n... Read more

Room is super fair. Great bed and shower, good service. Breakfast is satisfying too, try the sweet medialunas . Location is very good, close to Calle Florida, Plaza de Mayo. I would stay again and recommend to friends.

I joined an Intrepid tour which started and ended at this hotel - two nights in total - and generally unimpressed. I could not wait to leave. The staff are most unhelpful, the location isn't great, especially on the weekends where there is no vibe or atmosphere in the area, and it's just old. Plus any hotel where they buzz you in and out of the front door is questionable. The only upside was the rooms were clean, but not a place I'd want to spend time and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to... Read more
