Thank you so much for making our holiday so special - we had a wonderful, unforgettable and very relaxing time with you. The main purpose of choosing The Verandah Resort & Spa was our little one.We can't even express how Robin enjoyed his holiday and how thankful we are to every single staff for making his (our) holiday so special. The owner & manager of the hotel should be very proud of their staff. Once again big thanks for everything, we will definitely recommend your wonderful hotel to... Read more

I recently found my way Verandah through a charity auction. (Huge + from me for the resort being involved in charities!). I came here for 6 days with two of my friends and we stayed in the ocean front room. I promise if you stay in one of these rooms you will be blown away, everyday, every morning. Everything about the resort is fantastic. The food, the rum punch, the never ending activities (especially water aerobics), and most importantly THE STAFF!!! I have never felt more at home and wel... The Verandah Resort is everything you would want in an island retreat. The food was quite good, the service exceptional, the beaches were beautiful and the treatments at the spa were very well done. As an all-inclusive, we not only had as much food as we wanted, but could drink whatever we wanted, at no extra charge! The rooms were spacious and most of them had a glorious view from the balcony.

To get here from the UK you have to spend eight hours in the back of a seven seventy seven and eat the s*** they call airline food and then endure some of the worst roads in the Caribbean. But when you arrive you get that wonderful Antiguan hospitality: a warm welcome, a cold flannel and a rum punch. Everythin's goin' to be alright. Thanks Bob. This is a beach resort and not a five star hotel. It doesn't pretend to be anything different and it does it really well. The staff are exceptionally an... Read more

wow, wow, wow! Visited here with my partner and 7 year old daughter and have to say it was such an amazing place for us all. Short taxi ride from the airport and was welcomed with a drink and a smile. The hotel is just beautiful, they have golf buggies that take you around the resort so when you want to go from one end to the other they will gladly stop and give you a lift. The beaches are beautiful and the beach with the beach bar is beautiful, they have pelicans that live here and I could si... Read more

Celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary with friends at the Verandah! It was beautiful and relaxing. Lots of things to keep you busy. LOVED the Calypso Cat and the guys who run it are SUPER! They are young, energetic and fun! Snorkeling was okay - didn't see a variety of fish but very beautiful! Also did the Pink Panther Tour - great ladies and fun! Good day exploring and learning about the island. Wish the pool didn't close at 6:00 PM. Seems fairly early and there are no life guards an... Read more

There is not a single negative thing I could say about the Verandah!!! From the time we walked into the Lobby till the moment we left it was fantastic! The resort is gorgeous so well maintained and clean. I have to say the staff was friendlier than any I have encountered at other resorts. We walked into town (Wilikies) one morning about 45 minute walk and on the way back Myriam stopped and asked if we were ok and offered us a ride back to the resort. The room was lovely and spotless. The food i... Read more

Some really good points - the single level semi-detached accommodation which is spacious and well spread out across the resort. The sheltered cove is stunning and we spent many an hour laid in the floating rings on the sea with a drink in hand! Impressive that they leave a cool box of drinks on the beach. On the less impressive side is the food, which was frankly pretty bad at both the buffet and Buccaneers, but much better at the beach bar and Nicole's. Cocktails weren't good but beer / wine fi... This resort knows how make your stay as relaxing as possible. It's on the eastern side of the island, away from the congested shopping districts. It's breezy, warm, and beautiful. This resort is very nicely appointed. Rooms/villas are spacious and very clean and comfortable. Lots to do on the island, just a short ride away.

This resort is a great place for couples and families. Loved that the rooms are all cottages. We stayed in room 259 with an ocean view and our friends stayed in room 171 on the waterfront. Our rooms were centrally located in front of the main pool and next to the main beach. The resort is expansive and I would recommend staying close to the pool/main beach as there is a lot of walking otherwise. The resort does provide golf cart transportation so you can hitch a ride. When we first arrived, ou... Read more
