The hotel is very okay but I think it is more expensive than what we got during our time. The room is basic, a bit dark. Besides, sometimes I could see insects crawling on the walls so it made me feel not comfortable and the room wasnt cleaned well. The staff generally nice. They are smiley and make us feel easy at times.

Hotel is in a good location, short walk to beach and has a rooftop pool. Rooms aren't a bad size, beds comfy and great showers! Downside is that chair covers in rooms badly stained, have opted not to sit on chairs, a good steam clean or removable covers would solve this problem. Breakfast selection not too bad, omelettes or fried eggs nice. Handy to heaps of good priced restaurants. Free wifi in rooms. Spending 3 nights here, staff pleasant and hotel clean apart from chairs. Would stay here a... Read more

Originally I booked the Galliot Hotel for 4 nights, but my wife and I enjoyed our stay so much we decided to rebook after the 4th night for another 7 nights.. This hotel was great, front desk customer service was so friendly and always had smiles on their faces. We booked a scuba diving day trip thru the hotels tour desk and it was perfect no issues.. The breakfasts were great, fresh fruit and juices and love the omelette station.. Lots and lots of choices... The pool on the top floor wa... Read more

A large tourist sector has effectively moved the focus of the city the old sector of Nha Trang which is an ugly place. However, it could be a tourist centre anywhere and the flavour of Vietnam is missing. This hotel is reasonable well situated and close to a major market which was the place's saving grace, as well as the beach and many of the tourist type activities. The service was good, the rooms adequate in size (although a large window between the bathroom and the bedroom was a bit odd), ... Read more

I was a female solo traveller and would recommend this hotel. Rooms are very big and bed very comfortable. Minibar prices also reasonable. Tour operator desk very helpful - helped me arrange a trip and bus to next destination. The trip I arranged was I-resort - wouldn't necessarily recommend to solo traveller/young travellers - I think there's other mud baths you can go to. There were hundreds of children in the communal mineral pool and swimming pool areas. One pool has signs saying adults on... Read more

When we checked in we were shocked at how large the room was. We thought they had put us in the wrong room room and facilities were really good. Staff were more than helpful and breakfast was comprehensive covering a range of styles. Would highly recommend the galliot to all. ???

Just two blocks back from the sea front, an easy walk if you brave the traffic crossings. On the surface then a really posh place, billed as 4-star, with polished stone everywhere from the stairwells to most room surfaces. The room was clean and comfortable too. However over two nights you begin to notice things which bring down your opinion of the place. For example the shower / bath was not sealed to wall, water could go everywhere, though you'd hope with polished stone on walls and floors it ... Read more

If your looking for Vietnamese culture in Nha Trang then you may be disappointed. This is the Russian Ibiza of the Vietnamese coast. If you do decide to come here then the Galliot is as good as any place to stay in its price bracket: great roof pool and near the beach; Staff keen to please .Breakfast however is chaotic; possibly due to the main restaurant being refurbished and Vietnamese holidays .

We stayed here for three nights, location is excellent - just off the main drag and the beach but far enough away to be peaceful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Mini bar prices were good as far as hotels go. Pool is very nice and cool - you get a lovely breeze that high up but there are only about 16 sun beds. Lunch ordered at the pool bar was tasty but breakfast was pretty average.

Had a great stay, facilities are good, location is ideal. Breakfast is superb, buffet with a wide variety, my favourite were the omelettes and fresh fruit. Organised transfer to airport through hotel and it was simple and hassle free. Would recommend.

The room smelt of damp and we think it was because of the bad AC. The room was basic for what you paid and it's not a 4 star at all more a 2-3 at best. The bedding is cheap and so hard. The breakfast is also awful. We got a tour to the mud bath and the tour lady who is at the hotel , who could speak English said we got a free bus to the mud bath. However when we got there the drive asked for money for a 2 way trip. I don't care paying for anything but she instead it was free. Only good poin... Read more

Hotel is not a four star hotel. The breakfast is only ok. The staff are helpful however but no room service and bar closes at 10 which is not a four star service. The pool is nice but small. Location is great and is across from a well known restaurant Lanterns so ate there most of the time and that's amazing.

Hotel was ok, the rooms were nice and clean and staff were nice. The only problem was the food, it wasn't great, I wouldn't get the breakfast included or eat there but the hotel and location was good. The bar closes early and you can't get anything in the hotel after 10 but the staff are helpful where you can find food drink etc.

Rooms are nice and very well situated in Nha Trang. I had some treatments at the spa which were very disappointing. Nothing Like the brochure depicts. If you want spa treatments use the shops on the streets. Lanterns restaurant over the road very very nice.

The hotel is less than 4 years old, My first stay there was in its first year. The rooms were designed around what people would ideally like I think. They are spacious and well appointed. They have a proper 'euro' style enclosed showers, lovely towels and a value for money well stocked mini bar. I have stayed there around three times in the last 3 years. The staff speak sufficient English but everyone must understand that the bulk of the tourists in Nha Trang are Russian. The lantern restaurant ... Read more

Very good hotel on the 3-d line from the sea. The room was big and clean. We had a balcony too! On the top floor there is a waterpool where you can swim. I recommend this hotel to all tourists because its located in the center of the Nha trang

Rooms good although hotel a little tight on providing tea and coffee making facilities. Not keen to provide Lipton tea or milk. Pool nice view. Breakfast average.Good location central to the beach only a ten minute walk. Lots of shops and eateries nearby. Overall hotel is reasonable value. Probably a 3 star.

A very nice hotel in the heart of downtown to the beach. Nice rooms and good views with very professional staff. The pool is very basic but the fitness rooms are very nice and free to us. "This will be the only thing you will find free in this hotel" This hotel is rather pricey but so are the average hotels in beach city.thanks!

Found this online and got a deal. wasnt expecting much, but the rooms were big and spacious, two big double beds in the room. The pool was nice on the rooftop and we enjoye many a drink there. Good hotel for a good price. Would stay again for sure.

This was one of my favourite hotels during my tour of Vietnam. Nha Trang is a good city to visit and this hotel is in an excellent location. There are quite a few shops in the vicinity, its a short walk to the beach and close to the local market. Our room was very spacious, modern, clean and we had a large bathroom. There were plenty of power sockets in the room. Tea/coffee facilities and complimentary water. There were also satin bathrobes in the room which gave it an authentic feel. Our... Read more

We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel after staying at another 4 star (which was more expensive) up for the road. This hotel is far superior. The location is great, the staff are some of the friendliest I have met, the breakfast has a good selection, clean, and finally great value for money. We paid for a standard room, upon arrival we were upgraded to a superior room (seems to be a standard thing in Vietnam), so if your willing to risk it, pay for a standard as you'll probably get upgraded. ...
