This Japanese-themed hotel is perfectly located in a street packed with restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. The room we stayed in was on the small side but with a glorious bath area and a superb jacuzzi tub. The hotel also has a spa and jacuzzis on the roof. Breakfast spread was great and mention must be made of the staff who were extremely thoughtful and helpful.

A beautiful niche hotel which is perfectly equipped. Staff are fantastically attentive and nothing is a problem. I will definately return to stay at this hotel with my family. Location is perfect as only a 5 min walk to Hk Chi Minh square and surrounding areas.

This Japanese themed hotel features well appointed rooms which are clean and modern. The staff are very helpful and friendly with any needs you may have. Breakfast was a well put on affair with more than your average list of things to eat. The rooftop has a bar/gym and split pool (pool/spa) which is a nice spot to sit and drink looking over the city. My only criticism is that the 2 parts so the pool are too different in temperature, with the hot part being around 38C and the cool part close to 2... Read more

The hotel is really well situated in the Japanese quarter, 10 min walk from the main attractions as city hall. The decoration inside the hotel and rooms is really well done and trendy. And the staff has a high level of service, all really pleasant and nice!

If someone was to ask me for a hotel reco in Saigon, this place would be my number one choice. I feel like they offer the best value out of a modern hotel. While I guess it is technically a 4 star hotel, I felt like the service was 5 star. We stayed in the deluxe room, which was a good size. There was a separate tub, shower, and toilet room. The toilets were of the Japanese style. There is a hot and cold bath on the roof which we took advantage of. There is also a steam room. The breakfa... Read more

Had an amazing four night stay at the Silverland Sakyo and a further night at then end of our trip to Hoi An. Have stayed in 5 star hotels in HMC but found this hotel much more relaxed and friendly with amazing staff. From the doorman to the reception and all other staff all went out of their way to ensure a great welcome. I was unfortunate to get an upset stomach before heading off for a flight to Hoi An. The hotel kindly requested the doorman to take me on his scooter to a nearby pharmacy ... Read more

Many hotels of this standard offer breakfast in Vietnam, but Silverland Sakyo had a breakfast with higher quality ingredients. Their pho was one of the best we had in Vietnam. All staff we encountered were pleasant and friendly. The afternoon musical performance was enjoyable and the musicians were happy to engage the audience. The rooftop pool area was a relaxing getaway above the busy street. The staff up there lacked the training of the staff at breakfast, so we didn't bother with them.

This hotel was awesome! The staff was super helpful and the room was a quiet refuge from the chaotic Saigon streets. We loved the clean, simple interior and enjoyed the breakfast and other amenities. They helped us organize trips to the Mekong delta and cu chi tunnels which was a big priority for us. I would absolutely return and recommend!

I usually stay here during my business trips. The hotel has unbeatable location. Although it's small but very clean. Staffs are not very friendly, especially front desk officers. They provide free access to pool and jacuzzi services on rooftop from 5am to 11pm but I haven't tried yet.

This hotel had been recommended by another friend who also travels frequently to Ho Chi Minh for work, so I'd been excited to try it out. The location is great in the middle of Little Tokyo and around the corner of 4 P's, which is the best pizza in the entire Indochina region. On check in I was upgraded from a standard King to a deluxe King, so I was even more disappointed when I saw my room. It's very small, and while the deluxe room has a window, it looks onto a wall so there is no natural lig... Read more

Silverland Sakyo offers a lot of value for the price you pay for a room there. You get a generous buffet breakfast each morning - which has a decent mix - from the usual suspects (bacon, sausages, eggs) to some local bites. There is free afternoon tea (3pm-5pm) as well, though I wasn't around to enjoy that. Note that the cheapest rooms have no windows - that is fine with me though if you like natural light, ensure you do request for it. I found it strange that the bathtub had no shower curta... A great hotel in the Japanese area of Ho Chi Minh. The hotel is great, our room was brilliant, loads of modern Japanese touches. The breakfast was extensive. Special treat was complimentary afternoon tea each day. Cone venue for walking into the city and surrounded by restaurants.

A lovely hotel with superb staff, they give great advise for day trips and places to eat at. The location offers many bars and restaurants within a short walking distance. The roof top bar has a small hot and cold pool and is a great spot for some evening cocktails. The afternoon tea is complimentary and offers a good range of snacks and non alcoholic drinks and breakfast is fresh and offers a good mix between Asian and western style cuisine. Laundry is reasonable and the bedrooms are gorgeous a... Read more

Stayed here for 3 days and eventually 4 days... When we came in, it was beautifully decorated! A bathtub in the room! Filled with water and rose petals. More rosepetals on the bed with a rose! Room was very clean and spacious. Toilet and shower separately. Just a little bit dark in the room. There wasnt much light. Breakfast was good! Much choice as well!

The hotel is nice and staff is great...But: Cons: In floor 8, once a week, around 22.30 you can hear a disturbing noise from the pool upside, which takes about 2-3 hours to stop. Sometimes the room smells odd, I think because of the piping. Breakfast is good, but not great. Location is not really good (from the centre) Some premier rooms don´t have bubble bathtubs and shower and others do...you have to be lucky about that. The water is hot, very hot, or cold...you can get a regular warm shower... Read more
