Location is fantastic with Malaysian street just downstairs and Ben Thanh market 100m away. Booked the more expensive deluxe room (instead of cheaper superior) just because we wanted a room with a window. But, the window we had was facing the wall of another building! The room was clean, bathroom need more maintenance. Breakfast was alright with a pork-free section (note that it's not halal; just pork-free). Opt for higher room with a view for a more pleasant stay. Overall, it was a comfortable ... Read more

A weekend-gateaway with my sister and cousin. Check-in at 2pm then straight away walked to Ben Thanh market, Saigon Mall also nearby shopping attractions. Walking distance to halal restaurants. The night market only a walk away from the hotel entrance. The hotel spa was great and cheap! Must stay here if i come again.

The Silverland Central Hotel and Spa was a great place to stay. I have a movement disorder and the bellhops escorted me up and down the stairs. During the free breakfasts in the morning the staff poured me my coffee and juice. When they saw that both were running dry they refilled them without question. If you are into small outdoor eating and shopping, then this is the place for you.

Stayed here on a short trip meant mainly for shopping. Hotel is in a very convenient location barely 3 miniutes for Ben Thanh market. In fact there's shopping to do the minute you leave the hotel doors. Staff are professional, polite and helpful. Hotel is clean and comfortable. Will definitely recommend this hotel. Just outside the hotel is a row of restaurants serving halal food so this is THE place for Muslim travellers looking for halal food. Personally I will recommend Halal Amin rest... Read more

Entrance and breakfast room which can be seen from the street are really quite nice, but once in the elevator you know you are in a 3 star hotel (in Vietnam and Cambodia try to book at least 4 star - difference is huge). Good location, breakfast not the best, but staff very friendly.

We booked a deluxe room for 2 and was given a free upgrade to a junior suite. Room was clean although the bed and pillows were a little soft. Well I guess that's personal preference. We booked directly through the hotel website and airport transfer was thrown in FOC. We were pleasantly surprised when we received a little cake by fhe hotel for our anniversary. Certainly a nice gesture by the hotel. Breakfast was the same for the entire 3day stay so it got boring after day2. Staff were friendly. H... Read more

I was in HCMC for my daughter's school sports event hosted by the British International School HCMC. The event was held at 3 different athletic venues across the city in District 1, District 10, District 7, and the central location of the Silverland Central made each venue relatively easy to get to. The interesting sites like the Riverfront, the Ho Chi Minh museum, the War Remants museum, and the street markets made this hotel a convenient place to walk to many of the tourist attractions I want... Stayed 3 nights at this hotel and found the staff very friendly and welcoming, we were booked in by a tour company but the hotel upgraded our triple room giving us extra room which was great service. The room was a nice big size with seating area. The hotel is right in the centre of things and perfect for the night market. There a few streets with food and many other accessories. This hotel is recommended by trip advisor and is fantastic. Room is clean and buffet is good

Hotel is clean but a bit old. Booked to stay at Silverland suite but was awaken by morning acitivities across the road at 4.30am! Apparently, some suites are facing the front road. Hopefully, hotel will double glass the window to shut out the noise. However, the hotel's staff was so nice to upgrade us to family suite which is located at the back. Awful experience from start to finish. We arrived and were taken to our room. It smelt of smoke so we asked if there were any others. This hotel is not new, but the rooms are large and comfortable. And it is 1 minute on foot from Ho Chi Minh City's central market. The market is crowded and especially interesting to walk through at night. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with noise from the floor above, and I was given a quiet room to sleep in. The next morning I was moved to a noise-free room. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Stayed there 2 nights. The location of the hotel is not too bad - near the market and not too far of interest points to visit. The staff was quite good as well. For those two reasons only, I am not giving a "poor". The room was quite standard but was very noisy. We were on the 6th floor near the elevator.
