Visited early May, booked premium deluxe room, room was small but well fitted out. Room was quiet, clean, breakfast was good hotel well situated for city centre . Near to market, not much option for evening meals but the silverland hotel nearby, did good western food on a roof top terrace at a reasonable price.

The hotel was nice but one of the ladies at the reception desk that worked May 13 and 14 doesn't know how to smile, no customer satisfaction at all...their breakfast was really good and they allowed me to eat before 6 am cause I was leaving early for an early flight

Hotel is centrally located to restaurants, markets and other main attractions as well as within walking distance. Nice room with a good breakfast and Wifi included. Room on upper floor was quiet with modern amenities and a comfortable bed. A good value for the price.

We know this road from earlier stay at other hotel. The location is perfect... close to some fashion shops and only around the corner is the market. Remark - if u eating at the market check the price on menue. If u can not find ask before ordering. Some shops there terrible to get the money. The hotel is clean and u will find all for ur sleep. The rooms not big but good for sleeping. The staff very friendly and the breakfast ok. Some small food stall just outside the hotel. Also u find the fam... Read more

We stayed 4 nights in Sanouva and enjoyed every one of those nights. The location is stellar, just one block away from the Ben Thanh market, and within walking distance to the post office, Reunification Palace, and if you're up for it, even Bitexco Tower. The staff personnel are pleasant and courteous. We reserved a room with a large window view of the city on the 8th floor, and could see Bitexco tower, lit up over the rooftops of neighboring buildings at night. The bed, linens, and pillows were... We stayed here on the last leg of our Vietnam and Cambodia holiday last March and met my family from Philippines. The staff were friendly and helpful and when my husband needed a doctor because he got ill, the lady staff called the doctor and we only waited for 20minutes. We paid the doctor VD720,000 including the tablets and the next day my husband felt better. The hotel is just a block away from Benh Thanh Market and also near the Street Market where we had our meals most of the time. I highl... Read more

This was a good hotel. The rooms were clean, AC worked great (it was really hot when we came), and staff was pleasant. It's also in a very convenient location. The breakfast buffet was pretty decent as well, with different types of foods, drinks, fruits, etc.

What makes the Sanouova a great place to stay? It's all about the people, as the entire staff is top notch. While the whole facility is what you would expect for such a boutique hotel here, nice clean rooms, good AC and decent wifi, great shower, flat screen with lots of channels, and a good breakfast, and while that is all great, it's the staff that make it a great stay. Whether it's the lovely ladies at reception (Thu and Thuy are always smiling, friendly and very helpful), the most helpful la... Read more

We loved this hotel. Reception staff were so helpful and friendly. Knew us and our room number straight away and were ready with the room key each time we entered back to the hotel. One staff member took us to an artist shop and we were able to get the exact painting done we were looking for. It was done in 4 days. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here. The position is so good. 3 minutes walk to the Ben Thanh market. Street Food Market just around the corner. it is a local hotel a... Read more

This hotel was perfect for our short stay in Saigon. The room was clean and modern, with a nice bathroom and good shower. The location can't be beat, within easy walking distance of most major attraction. The breakfast was good Nd the staff wonderful. Our room was very quiet at night. Definitely recommended!

We liked out finding this nice spot to call home for a few days... Everyone was so nice that works there, breakfast was good and had a nice variety. It is a great location.... We walked to all the usual tourist spots. Oh, I guess we did grab a taxi on the one evening that it was raining. That was easy from this location also. We will definitely return to this place.

This hotel was great for our short stay in Ho Chi Minh. Our room was simple and clean, but proved to be fully functional. The location is pretty central -- within walking distance of many restaurants and tourist sites. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the free breakfast was also a nice touch. All in all, a recommended mid-range hotel for travelers looking for simplicity and good location in Ho Chi Minh.

We stayed in the Sanuova Hotel for two nights. It it a medium sized city hotel in the heart of Saigon just two blocks from Ben Tranh Night market and the Steetfood market. Rooms were spaciuos and clean. Breakfast was also good. You can order eggs on request and there is a goog choice of stuff to eat. Overall we can recommend the hotel. It is not luxurious but you get very good value for money.

A pleasant holiday stay. Room is clean, front desk staff are able to converse in English fairly well and restaurant staff are polite and hardworking . However , the breakfast area is small and not conducive. Only one serving lift in the hotel .Breakfast spread is fine . Hotel provide alternative shower area on the 10th floor which is very good for late check out . Keep up the good work !

Sanouva has definitely exceeded my expectations. A 3 star hotel that is near the main attractions like the Notre dame, reunification palace, opera house etc. Staffs are amazing, friendly and helpful. Room wasn't huge but cozy and clean. It was comfortable. Breakfast is not great but sufficient. Eggs were amazing! Basically, they always say that you get what you pay for right? But this is definitely more than what you pay for. Enjoyed my 4 nights stay here!

Clean place, great location, good service at a decent price! What more can you ask for? I would stay here again and I will recommend it to others. I travel to VIetnam many times in the past, I usually have small complaints about each hotel I stayed at, not this one. I don't ask for much. Clean place and good service is all i need.

We spent four nights here and it was a great stay. Staff very good, rooms comfortable and well equipped and breakfasts were of a high standard. The location is good and a lot of sights are easy walking. Taxis are good value but make sure the hotel gets you the cab as one company Hoang Long has a rogue driver who doubles as a pick pocket. The registration number is 51F 81123 if you come across him. That by the way was nothing to do with the hotel just bad luck in the middle of Saigon. Other than ... Read more

Rooms were small and when you add an extra bed there is not much room to walk around left. Walls are thin, you can hear people talking in the hallway clearly, not to mention they have narrow hallways. Service was ..... rather not good. On our first check-in, they gave fruits, and that's the last of it for the next 3 days. They also didn't replace the empty shampoo bottle. What's surprising is their breakfast area, incredibly small. Their plus point would be the area, most things essential are... Read more

Good location, style of hotel is similar to a lot of other hotels we past in Saigon. The room was clean with a good shower. A good stay for a base in Saigon. Good variety for breakfast. We had one issue at check out where they wanted to overcharge due to their mistakes. I had to force the issue to insure I didn't pay. Staff in general are ok, however when something is out of the norm they seem to have problems in how to deal with it.

I stayed for 2 nights and had the Executive-room. Pricey comparing to other hotels around the area and in the city. You get though a very nice room and big enough (other rooms are smaller). Bathroom and shower is very clean and well-functioned. The view is nothing to boast about. I was on the 5th floor. The internet connection was not that great, needed to re-connect often. The building is surprisingly small and the hallway to rooms are very small. Only one elavator which may cause a wait when a... Read more

I first stayed here more than 4 years ago, and a second time 3 years ago so it was interesting to go back. The lobby area is still pristine but the carpets/walls/fittings in the corridors are starting to show heavy signs of wear and tear. Staff were very friendly but I have to say the two security guys working in the afternoon and evening deserve a medal. They were running in and out of the rain non-stop helping the guests in and out of taxis during some of the heaviest rain. Both with a consta... Read more

We stay at 7 hotels in this visit to Vietnam. And this hotel is the only one which has bedbugs. My friends and I got bedbugs bites for the first two nights (all over the body at room 906). Only on the third night, after our request, we are changed into a cleaner room. The quality of the breakfast is the poorest among the 7 hotels we stay.
