Duration : 2 weeks The Good : location, location, location. Situated on the Saigon square, it means that you are walking distance to anything, expat pubs, restaurants, cafes, etc or a simple 50c taxi ride away. The Bad : rooms are very average and outdated. Expensive for what it is. After 9pm, you are not allowed to take anyone into your room unless you pay vnd450000. Very inconvenient and rude. Example : a work colleague spilled a drink on his shirt. He is the same size as me so we went to... Read more

There was no view in our "deluxe" room ! The windows could not even be opened. Old / budget TV. Breakfast not included, expensive (didnĀ“t try). Very expensive airport transfer. Smoking allowed in rooms: smoke comes in from other rooms. Cooking odors in the corridor. However: the pool was great ! Large, partly indoors. Both the pool and the sun deck are surrounded by a jungle altought by a back alley. Few guests seem to find their way there. The beds are comfortable, thereĀ“s 24-h room service a... Read more

This hotel is an older hotel and it is for sure not a 4 star hotel ( I am talking Canadian Standard) one thing that is amazing is the location. Is is in the heart of the downtown ( district 1) . If you looking for a night life go for this hotel. Service is super nice. Plenty of restaurants and bars around hotel.

We are a western family (2 adults and 7 and 8 year old). This hotel is in a great location. This helps with small kids. At night the area comes alive and it helps to be able to walk back or carry to the hotel. Fussy eaters also a lot in area for these kids. Breakfast was also great. A lot of variety for many cultures. The bad: bathroom was terrible had mould around the bath/shower. But in saying that so did a lot of places due to humidity. Also dated decor. They never ever respond to emails ... Read more

Absolutely brilliant location. A few minutes walk to the river or attractions such as the Notre dame Church, Independence Palace etc and the tallest tower in Saigon. A variety of restaurants within walking distance serving all manner of food to satisfy every palate. The boulevard in front is happening - especially on week ends. The breakfast buffet is good . The rooms are good - just make sure you go to top floors and avoid rooms on either side of the gated entrance - you will end up looking at ... Read more

The lobby is very elegant, but the rooms are very basic and my bed was two single beds pushed together. The gym was run down and the pool was nice but not very deep. The toilet spray in my room leaked but that was fixed fairly quickly.

The room: Booked an Orient Deluxe Room as there were three of us travelling (3 single beds). The room was an excellent size by Vietnam standards. The beds were firm but comfortable. Room was clean. Room safe, wardrobe, plenty of drawer storage as well. Our room was the last in the corridor and was really quiet so we had a good sleep. Bathroom: a little bit small, but everything functioned perfectly. WiFI: no problems at all. Breakfast: Perfectly adequate selection. The egg/Pho lady was lov... Read more

We booked this as recommended by my father. The staff were mostly warm and helpful. The rooms are super old and in some cases the bathrooms are tiny. We know this because we were moved to another room after we complained about the door on our original room not looking particularly secure. The beds are horrifically hard, so if you have a bad back or other injuries, I'd avoid staying here. The breakfast buffet is definitely geared towards Eastern tourists, so there was very little we would ac... Read more

This is a decent property and well priced. Do not expect any thing extravagant here. It's just functional and a business hotel. There is a Massage spa which is good enough to make you relax. 30 min. Free massage with Evey check in. But you loose the coupon you loose the chance, hotel has no policy for a reissue. Bathroom shower hardly has pressure which made me irritated. After a long day and a long flight you certainly want a super shower. Rooms are small and have dated looks.
