Book this hotel room the night before we stayed so had to pay a bit (around $50-60 USD a night). Our room was spacious but definitely look like it was straight from the 80s. Tacky Asian-style wood furniture included. Bathroom was a tub with a shower head which was a bit weird as water splatter all over the flooring. Like other Vietnam locations, wastepaper should be disposed in the wastebasket and not the toilet as the solutions they use and flushing mechanisms isn't as robust. Our room wasn't ... Read more

I really liked this hotel, however the reason for a 3 star review is because my room was on the 10th floor and directly below the restaurant. There was a lot of noise in the night time which was very difficult for me to sleep. Also a lot of background noise from the other building made it even more difficult to sleep. Buffet breakfast provided in the hotel was good, however i found it to be too western. Staff were very courteous and friendly- i would definitely visit again but will never stay on... Read more

let's just say if you got nothing from this review at the very least this hotel is over priced and not clean. be careful if booking that you don't book a room without a window. if you do pay extra for a window don't expect much as mine was wallpapered over. there was garbage in the waste basket (used q tips!). i'm spending the night here because it's also the most expensive hotel i've booked in vietnam and the front desk refused to refund any money. save your money and go somewhere, anywhere, el... There are better hotels outside the centre of the city - say at the backpacker area or Ben Thanh market. This hotel was reasonably priced for its proximity to tourist attractions such as the statue of Uncle Ho Chi Minh, the Rex hotel and other attractions within walking distance. Breakfast is alright and will get you started for the day. The room is small but that is typical of a city hotel. Stayed here for 2 nights and the room was kept clean and the water in the shower cleared well (do not t... Read more

We finished our intrepid trip here and stayed on for a couple of nights The hotel is located in a very busy location with plenty of street vendors and not far from the market. The room was large and clean and always tidy when we came back. Not all the rooms have windows. I think all from the 4 floor upwards have. Check before booking. The only downfall was that if you go to breakfast late there is no food left. There is no bar but turn left when you leave and you can drink on the street with a... Read more

I didn't know what to expect of hotels in Vietnam but this place was a welcome surprise. Clean and spacious. Decor was a bit dated but that was hardly an issue. Bed was comfortable, a/c worked, daily servicing, and plenty of hot water. It was all I was looking for and all I needed.

I and my family have been at the hotel for years. Housekeeping staff is very attentive and careful. Room rates are low and can conveniently visit the city. I am very pleased with the service at the hotel, the staff book us mekong delta tour by motorbike within 1 day.

Great access to many eateries, markets, things to do. Bit noisy as in a noisy street with heaps of traffic from early til late. Breakfast mix of continental and Asian, could do with some diversity. Nice staff and good service. We would go back there...

Nice hotel and friendly staff. In the central area of HCMC, five minutes walk to Ben Thanh Market and 8 minutes to Nguyen Hue walking street. Strong wifi and nice buffet for breakfast. Nice restaurants next door. Good choice for visitors. I will stay here next time when I go back to Sai Gon.

We stayed here in November 16 as part of an Intrepid tour group. The hotel is in a great location, especially if you want to visit Ben Thanh market. Unfortunately the downside of this is that there is a tremendous amount of noise, especially if you're room is at the front of the hotel as ours was. There was also a lot of building work going on either in the building or next door throughout the day while we were there, but this can't really be helped. The room itself was VERY large indeed so ... Read more
