good location near central HCMC, easy walk to opera house. friendly staff and efficient. breakfast wide range of foods but I usually had the freshly cooked omelette. Rooms had everything you need, try and get one on upper floors as HCMC is pretty noisy.

We stayed 2 nights. The hotel was not full at all but they gave us a room with a small window , facing a stairway from building next door, with a strong cigarette smell. We asked for another room , they gave us one on the 9th floor with 2 windows and great views . I guess you just have to ask !! No problem with early check in . Rooms are med size, very old fashioned, but clean and all amenities. Ask for small pillows. We booked this hotel for the pool. It is large for a hotel, clean water, nothi... Read more

I been there for an emergency in my apartment for two nights and i've been treated well even if the staff doesn't really have a good english level. The room was nice and spacious but sadly my aircon was dripping quite much water (a lack of manteinance). I sadly had no breakfast there as i used to wake up out of time but i had a positive feedback on it from those same people who recommended me the hotel. The price is not exagerated at all.(i had booked at the reception for 75 usd).

The May hotel is a nice place to stay in central HCMC. The Deluxe room we had was clean and had enough space to store two adults, two big suitcases and all the gear you need when discovering Vietnam. Especially what I appreciated was the fact that we had walk in shower and no bath (which I never use). The bathroom was ok not really spacey. HCMC is filling in every space they have and erecting huge buildings everywhere. Also at the back of the hotel construction activities took place which contin... Read more

I stayed there for 3 separate occasions and the location is convenient for restaurants if you are NOT looking for Vietnamese cuisine. Restaurants near by are mainly non-Vietnamese. There is a semi-outdoor BBQ place around the corner if you like grilled food and beer. (food can be grilled in the kitchen or on a "hibachi" at your table. Then, there are the Pizza place, Korean BBQ, more Japanese restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, etc. just a few blocks radius. Depending on how fast you... Read more
