The hotel is located overlooking the central park about a ten-fifteen minute stroll through the park to the main market. I had a room at the back with a window that was pretty quiet. The room and hotel was clean and everything worked well and this includes the staff who I would describe as professional with friendly breaking through quite often. I thoroughly enjoyed the hustle and bustle of Backpacker street and District 1. If I wanted to listen to the cicadas at night I would have booked in... Read more

This hotel is value the money. The restaurant has very good vietnemese food buffet. From the hotel your immediately in the lively backpacker area. Try to get a room in the upper floor. One night stay, no issues at all.

We arrived here past midnight and had to take a second look if it was the right hotel. Since if it is late, the lobby is partly lit and name of hotel is not visible. Plus there is another Liberty (greenview) in the same street which you will first pass by before parkview. Location is really downtown and is walking distance to ben thanh market and phuong trang bus station. Also only 20 mins to railway station by taxi. Room is clean so it was a good 3hour sleep for us before we went to Mui Ne. ... Read more

Very helpful front desk, also got a good dollar exchange rate. Great location, walking distance to benthanh market and some malls. Try and walk around at night, many activities taking place in the park area. be careful of pickpockets. Breakfast buffet was very good, many local cuisine to try out. Room didn't offer bed tea/cofee at first. After we requested this was provided. May have been an issue with the tour operator and hotel.

The hotel is clean and employees are friendly. We were part of a group and we were the only ones getting a room without a window. As we were tired and wanted to rest, we did not complained. The worst part was the wi-fi, it was terrible in the room, we had to go on the hallway to send an email. Hotel might be good for one night.

In the morning I had massage 1 hour, the price was 230.000 VND per hour. Massage was not bad. Massage girl gave her contact information to me for appointing the time for next massage. At the end of massage I paid massage fee amount, and plus, I tipped to the massage girl 150.000 VND. . At the end of the day I was tired and I decide I need one more massage before sleeping. I send SMS to the same girl and asked her time is available or not. . She replied me as "You just tipped 150.000 VND, I don... Read more

Our group of 25 people stayed at this hotel last year for 5 weeks and made some recommendations on changes. This year they have done a better job by being more responsive to needs. I would recommend this hotel for sure, as it is convenient, responsive, and clean. The staff is really friendly and helpful as wel.

Secure, clean, great view of park, helpful staff, good restaurant including free breakfast. Raw yet civilized neighborhood just the other side of the central market from downtown. Management was always responsive, but had not conquered wifi glitches when our stay ended.

A good hotel stay with our friends in the centre of city with a very good hospitality from staff! Located near the Ben Tanah market, this place is really buzzing with ample amount of spas available through out day/night. What more, these spas offer discounts if we are in groups. So,I would recommend this place if you are looking for a hotel at a cheap price and good quality!

This hotel was ok, we was on the 8th floor and above was the restaurant so we got a lot of sound from above which was not good, the breakfast was really good, the staff were very nice towards you. Would I go again the answer is yes.

Hotel is located in a great area. Lots of places near here. Clean and secure. Especially helpful staff. I lost my latest IPhone in Taxi, they help me a lot. They called taxi company and driver. Finally i got my phone back. Really appreciate Ms Le Mai and Mr Done. Great help for me.

The hotel is located in the Pham Ngu Lau area which is a very famous street. Walking distance to the Ben Thanh Market. Food and beers easy to find and loads of ATM machines. The staff at the hotel is very helpful and friendly. You can also book tours from the hotel and the tour company is a reputable one too. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Wifi was really good too.Definitely value for money! Breakfast was also very good. I would stay here again.

We got rather small rooms the first stay, very average. The second time we had more expensive rooms (one with balcony and the other one with bathtub and a separate shower) and those were really nice and much larger and more modern. Breakfast-buffet is ok, maybe better than just ok but not great. Very good location; close to backpacker-street with lots of cheap and good restaurants (5 min walk), walking distance to nice parks, war museum, street market...

The hotel is located close to "beer alley", a road with all the bars and restaurants. If you are looking for this it is well situated. Also across the street is a quiet park, so if you have a front room you have a nice view, but beware the street is very busy and the noise starts early. The restaurant on the top floor has a balcony, overlooking the park, and especially in the morning, when it is not that hot yet, this a very nice spot to have breakfast.

Very convenient location. We were upgraded to a park view room on the arrival. It was a huge room with a king size bed and another single bed because we wanted a triple room. That was not a jumpbed like in lot of other hotels. The buffet Breakfast was fantastic with a variety of eastern and western dishes.

Stayed three nights from 15th to 17th of August. Located near the Ben Thanh market which offers reasonable shopping. There are plenty of eating places around the hotel including pubs. Room was very large and comfortable. Breakfast was good with varieties. The elevator was painfully slow and crammed. Only negative thing we found in this nice hotel.

The hotel was well run with friendly attentive staff. The building is older, so things like the tiny two man lift were slow and clunky, but the room was comfortable and very tidy. Room service was quick and the food was ok, but not stand out. The view of the park from the 9th floor roof terrace restaurant is stunning.I loved to sit in the park in the morning with a coffee and watch the locals doing their Tai Chi .Bui Vien is only a sreet away but you would never know it. Walk out of the hotel an... Read more

We stayed at the Liberty during the 2nd week of our trip to Ho Chi Min. The room was a refurbished one facing the park. Nice room, excellent shower. Just not enough surface space in the room to put things. Only 5 coat hangers in the wardrobe, totally inadequate. Also there was a balcony with no access so you couldn't see the street life below. Not even from the window. The fridge has no freezer and they charge you for ice!! The breakfast were very good with both western and Asian choices. The li... Read more

I stayed for 3 nights at this hotel with my family. The rooms are 'adequate'. Its is a no frills place but is convenient. The only negative review that I have is that some of the rooms are not adequately lit. The breakfast is excellent and so are the reception staff. Lots of restaurants and bars just behind the hotel. It is very conveniently located, close to the market and the main tourist attractions of Saigon.

This hotel was 'assigned' to us as part of a pre-booked trip and we were happy to stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful - anything we asked for they helped with especially around booking in/out times. We ate in the restaurant a few times and food was fresh, hot and tasty and a good price. Room was comfy - not the best views but not the worst. Air Con could have been a little better but this is a small issue. The views from the rooftop bar/restaurant were great and there is an outside ... Read more
