The hotel was wonderful. The rooms were large, clean and modern. Breakfast was great and the rooftop pool was awesome. I really enjoyed relaxing up there with a beer at the end of the day. You can't beat the location either. Walking distance to everywhere with lots of great restaurants and shopping close by.

My husband and I visited Vietnam for our wedding anniversary. We booked a Deluxe room with breakfast included. We stayed 2 times during this trip in March. First stay was for 4 nights. Second stay was just for the day as we preferred to have a nap and shower in a hotel while we were waiting for our evening flight home. Very reasonable day rates. Location is amazing, very close and safe walk to Dong Khoi street and Nguyen Hue mall. So many good food options nearby and lots of good shopping. Also ... Read more

Bonus with being on Executive level you get 6 pieces of clothing laundered per day for free. Free drinks and food from 5/7pm on executive level. Bar and pool on... Read more

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. I was given one measly little bar of soap to last two days. The air conditioner did not work very well. The room was too warm. The hotel is located near a major road. Sleeping at the hotel can be difficult because of the noise from the road - honking horns and trucks! The food served at the hotel is decent. The hotel is expensive. I would consider a different hotel. There are many hotels nearby which offer a similar or better value.

Nicely positioned right on the river. Hotel staff were very nice and helpful and kindly upgraded us. The roof top pool is nice with a good bar â?? although drinks and food are expensive. Modern rooms, with international adaptor plugs good TV with reasonable channel selection. The bed was very firm, but comfortable. The only downside to the rooms were that they are a little small and that the shower, while it could have a door on it, doesnâ??t, thus turning virtually the whole room into a wet... Read more

As part of a trip around Vietnam and Cambodia we decided to spend a bit more than our usual budget to stay somewhere nice in Saigon. The staff were friendly, and the rooms clean and fairly spacious, with a nice rain shower. The gym is very small but useful as it's available until late. The best thing about the hotel is the rooftop pool and bar which is a beautiful setting for a drink overlooking the city. Drinks here were rather overpriced though, and even at happy hour the added service charge ... Read more

A good modern hotel with great views over the river. Rooms lack drawer space and although they have nice glass toilet / shower rooms, its not for me. The food at breakfast was good but after your first cup of tea or coffee if you don't catch someone you will never be asked if you want another cup but that was only applicable to the male staff around me, possibly the female staff were better. The Liberty Central Saigon Riverside is a newly build hotel in a good location. The rooms, the amenities, the service, the staff etc. are good, the breakfast buffet, however, is "boring": Every day the same fruit juice, practically the same kind of fruits, the same tastless cheeses (e.g. Mozzarella, cream cheese), the same ham and smoked fish etc. I made some recommendations to the "lady-chef de service" two and again one year ago but she doesn't want to understand. Therefore, I change the hotel... Read more

The room looked exactly like photo on the hotel's website! Clean bedding and bathroom. Once the curtains are drawn open, we could see the river right in front and there are no other buildings at close vicinity. The bathroom is clear glass but there is a curtain which can be lower for privacy (so no embarrassing moments with fellow room mate). There are 3-4 food options in the hotel, and the cafe just above reception was a cosy hangout for us - snacked and played games there (foosball and chess)... Read more

Very convenient hotel on Saigon river. They offered a room upgrade for $20 a night to get a river view which we took but it probably wasn't necessary. We decided to try a local hotel chain and picked this riverside location so we won't be stuck with the city buildings view. The rooms are modern and clean with a good size bathroom. There was kettle with coffee/ tea bags in the room. However, the walls are very thin and you can hear every word that your neighbour utters and vice versa. The rooftop pool and bar is lovely. Massages at the spa was very nice. Fitness centre is also well equipped with new machines. Will try the citypoint location nex... Read more

Location was great and the staff friendly from check in but it was annoying having a constant upsell on the room at check in. We ended up in something very small, which wasnt a problem but after 2 days of tobacco smell even though it was a non smoking floor, we requested a change. This was quick but we ended up in a room with 2 beds together which was larger but uncomfortable. Breakfast was a good standard but more ready to go western choice would be appreciated eg requesting scrambled egg or ... Read more

My friends and I had 2 rooms in this hotel. The location was great and really close to all the things to do. In the lobby there is a tour company who can book trips like cu chi tunnels. The pool on the roof is great.

Excellent staffs which always friendly help. Room really nice and clean. Bed is comfy. Good choice you can walk for food and main street is not far. Room with river view really nice but prefer high floor to be quiet at night.

We have just completed a thoroughly enjoyable months holiday in Vietnam. However it almost began badly and the reason it didn't was largely down to Khai Hoan the concierge at the Liberty Central Hotel. After a long flight & completing visa requirements we not really on top of our game & were pleased to get to our hotel in time for bed. Only then did we realise we were one suitcase short & must have left it on the luggage carousel at the airport. The tired brain started working overtime then &... Read more

The Liberty Central Riverside set the standard for the rest of our trip to Vietnam. We took the airport bus shuttle there and it stopped right outside, from where we were immediately looked after. At reception, we were greeted in the heat with ice cold refreshments then helped to our room. The room was spacious with a great view (we opted for a city view rather than riverside view), some fruit and water and the bathroom was immaculate. The hotel is really well located and we walked from the ... Read more

We arrived at the hotel at 9pm and were welcomed by an excellent concierge Mr Hoa. We had complimentary ice cold drinks at the lobby before going up to our room to refresh, and before heading to Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Plaza for a stroll. Buffet breakfast is like a heavy lunch buffet! I especially loved the congee toppings, Vietnamese pho, kumquat mix juice and other main meat dishes. The seafood evening buffet included crabs, fresh water crabs, lobsters, shrimps, fish and other shellfish. Live cr... Read more

This hotel is ok, clean and decent but not at all the outstanding place most reviews described. The concierge is useless, just handed us a map and that was it. The room is very clean and modern. If we knew, we would rather stayed in an international hotel chain than in that one.

We spent 4days(3nights) in this hotel. View is good as the pictures on Tripadvicer. It's really beautiful on the top floor. Staffs are always kind to help you. Facility is good. However, we were a little disappointed about some parts . (1)We ask a high floor when we booked our hotel in May-2016, but we got 9th floor when we arrived on Sep. Due to the busy road we faced, it is not quiet at night. If you would like to have a riverview room, make sure you get the room as higher as possible. (2)We a... Read more

River views, very clean, great location, amazing day spa, had a Vietnamese traditional massage = amazing! On the higher end of price but good to have a nice place to stay when first getting here to get use to the environment. Stayed on level 8 and was not so noisy from the traffic below.

We stayed here for three nights at the beginning of September and had a great experience. Check-in was efficient although only a paid upgrade was offered - which is disappointing considering most hotels offer an upgrade out of good will if a room is available. That said, we were happy with the room we had booked. We faced away from the river which in hindsight might have been a good call as there is a rather busy road between the hotel and the river. The room itself was modern, clean and well ... Read more

we arrived early having booked an early check but the room still wasn't ready so we had to go and have breakfast which left us very little time to shower and be ready to go out on a pre-booked excursion and they charged $20. However, the breakfast was good and plentiful. The location was really central and near the night market and as our room was on the back with no view it was quiet.

I stayed in this hotel for three nights. From the moment of arrival to departure, my impressions of the staff and the hotel was most favorable. I stayed on the 15th floor in a riverview room. There was no traffic noise, the room was good, quick internet, friendly staff, good breakfast choices, everything I require in a hotel. I had a late flight departure at 1am, and after a normal check out, the concierge provided some suggestions on how I could occupy my time while waiting for the flight. His ... Read more
