I have been staying at Lan Lan1 since it opened many years ago. What is amazing is that the place is so well maintained that it does not date. This a good above average budget hotel close to all the right amenities. We ate a meal there at night as we were tired from the flight and it was superb. We know they send out to a local restaurant to get there food but it's always well cooked and on time. Breakfasts are always busy but the food is always coming out fresh and the coffee is great. I stayed at Lan Lan hotel during my stay with 2 friends in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City). We tried to get a room at Lan Lan 2, but it was all sold out, so we got one at number 1 instead. The staff was VERY friendly right from the start, and very helpful throughout the stay. Language wise, they all spoke very fine English. The room was pretty standard hotelroom size. The bathroom was nice and big, and with all the necessary things like shampoo, lotion etc. Since we were 3 guests, we had a rollout ... Read more

Stay here as part of group tour for 4 nights and it was not the planned hotel on the itinerary which the group was not informed of till we arrived in the early evening (some were expecting to have a swimming pool and gym onsite). This hotel was centrally located to markets, attractions and restaurants with a local convenience shop just across the road for drinks and snacks (quiet cheap). The room was average sized and clean with bathroom essentials supplied. The dining room is only small with We... Read more

We stayed in Lan Lan 1 for 2 nights and we found it very clean, modern and organised. The staff is friendly and cooperative. The hotel is well located in District 1 ( Sai Gon) at walking distance from main city attractions and restaurants. Some of the 4 Stars hotels we have stayed Vietnam should take Lan Lan 1 as reference!

I have been at this place, 2 nights, at a price of 42 dollars while booking with Agoda. Once at the hotel the "nice" surprise that I have to pay extra because my gf Vietnamese, so it ended to be the most expensive hotel I have been pay in Vietnam for 63 dollar a night. Staff at doorman, really good and professional. Receptionists a bit cold, and not very friendly. Breakfast a bit poor on selections. The hotel itself I wouldn't considered a 3*, and for very similar accommodation in district 1, y... Read more

For over 10 years I've stayed at this hotel when in Saigon. But the photos advertising the rooms do not reflect the rooms. First I booked a 'deluxe twin/double' which showed a room with a large window. When I complained, they said 'none of the deluxe rooms' have big windows. So I booked a 'deluxe premium' room for 5 nights (for the next week). When I checked in later that week, they gave me room 901. In this room, 2/3rds of the big window was blocked by a huge ugly building with mega-ante... Read more

We have stayed at Lan Lan Hotel one every time we have come to Vietnam. We always have a great stay here. Staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent with lots of options. Rooms are clean and well appointed with good aircon. The hotel is placed in the middle of district one so there is some traffic noise and night. However, it is close to many other great attractions in Saigon. Very good value for money. We highly recommend Lan Lan One. - Zac.

The hotel is perfectly located. Although it is rated as 3*, it is quite good. The room was good and clean, the breakfast was OK (the person in charge was constantly checking if everything was OK and needed a refill) and the staff was polite and helpful.

All staff are very friendly and accommodating. Hotel staff also gave us tips where to eat around the area. They always give their sweetest smile every time we enter the hotel. They have good options for their daily breakfast!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Lan Lan Hotel 1 -- the room was very clean and comfortable and the staff friendy. We had a view of the street and the noise was very minimal, the cleaning staff do start their mornings early and you can sometimes hear them in the hallways so if you are planning to sleep in that may be a bit difficult! The location was perfect, nestled between Ben Thanh Market and the Reunification Palace. Highly recommend this hotel!

Satisfactory room - very clean, rather on the small side and window quite small. But spent most of my stay out and about so this was not an issue. Sometimes lift did not work so had to do 6 flights of stairs. Hotel is centrally located and quite convenient on this basis. Breakfast room rather small but staff very attentive and food selection was varied.

We tried to book into another hotel which was full, and they suggested this hotel (even paying our cab fee to get there). Glad we decided to stay here! Great location, close to Ben Tanh Markets and War Remnants Museum. Clean and tidy rooms. Great value. Big room with a window. Super friendly staff and a great breakfast.

Stayed here multiple times for business and pleasure and am always very impressed with the service. The location is great near to Ben Thanh and lots of downtown eateries and bars. Circle K across the road for snacks etc. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained. Internet works well which is a good bonus. Breakfast is simple, but tasty and for the price of the room quite good. The SIlverland Group has purchased/rebranded Lan Lan 1 now to "Silverland Yen" and some renovations are underway. H... Read more

This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel. We were there 7 years ago and both the hotel and the area have changed quite a lot in those 7 years. The hotel has had an upgrade and this was still a work in progress while we were there It is about to change it's name to silverland. It wasn't too bad because the work was being done during the day while we were out and finished late afternoon. The only inconvenience to us was that on a few occasions we couldn't use the lift because the ... Read more

went there with a friend and we've been traveling vietnam for a week. lan lan 1 was the most unwelcoming place that we have visited. especially the reception lady has a skill of making a customer feel bad. maybe they don't want foreign travelers sleep there? look for elsewhere there are plentiful hotels nearby. ps. we booked a deluxe room but there were so many ants and the sounds from other room was unbearable. 리?????? ???? ???? ???? ???? ???????. 베... Hotel is newly renovated/in the process of being renovated (construction works ongoing on top most floor). It is being acquired by the silverland hotel chain. It is just beside the independence palace, a couple minutes walk to ben thanh market, notre dame cathedral, war museum and lots of restos, local eateries and convenience stores. Furnishings are new and the wood accents make the place feel homey. they probably need to varnish everything though because after a while it will get damaged espe... Read more

Went to two different hotels in HCMC before this trying to find something that was comfortable, clean, and quiet in a decent part of the city. This met all of my expectations. The breakfast was pretty good as well, and the staff was helpful and kind.

This hotel was a surprise. It is well located near a major market and other sites of tourist interest. The breakfast was much better than we expected and the room price was cheap. The room was clean and comfortable. We have stayed here multiple times and will stay again on our next visit.

Due to an urgent unplanned trip to Vn and a sudden change of plan had to find a hotel the night before I would check in. Booked LL1 through Agoda for a very very cheap price (not sure if the price was to sell empty rooms at short notice?) I was able to check in at midday into a very spacious, clean and modern room (#105) with an up to date bathroom. Room had a good sized TV, desk, refrigerator, electric jug plus a couple of arm chairs. There was a wardrobe with good sized safe - although not la... Read more

We arrived last Thursday 24 Nov for 4 night stay and were concerned if construction works would be finished as read some reviews on it. There was no to little noise on our first few days. So we decided to extend our stay after 2 day trip to the Mekong Delta What a disappointment, we paid same price as originally on booking.com, there was no discount for returning while booking directly with them, we got same room type but on 1st floor. On 30th Nov they started working on breakfast room, the noi... Read more
