This hotel seemed really nice upon check-in, but once we got to our room we realized we'd made a mistake. We booked a "Deluxe" room and were informed upon arrival that the room had no windows. This didn't seem like a big deal at first but once we got to the room we found that it had a musty odor which made it feel like a cave. I had trouble sleeping because of the smell and couldn't wait to get out of there. If we had realized this would be the case we would have either booked a different type o... Read more

We did enjoy the hotel a lot. Great room even though is was no window. Some bad internet in the room and a bit noisy when others was in the hallway. But overall it was a great place and great service at hotel.

very important: good location! close to atm, many restaurants, the ben than market etc warm helpful staff who immediately offered us free tea at our arrival very clean room, enormous soft bed, bubble bath and most important of all: oh so quiet! the rooftop is great! beautiful view and a clean swimming pool you can use the sauna for free but remember that you need to go downstairs first to book your free spa session. we only had to wait for 30 mins (the time for the sauna to heat up) but i can... The Grand Silver land Hotel & Spa is an excellent place to stay, situated as it is in the heart of downtown Ho Chi Minh City. I spent a few hours just in a two block radius and the people/traffic watching was varied and fun. Having a windowless room is not the best but I knew that beforehand and the room itself was very good. The rooftop pool is small but really enjoyable with a nice little bar/cafe adjacent. Weather was inclement when I planned to dine at the rooftop restaurant but views amazin... Read more

I spent one night here in a Premier Room (so I could have a window!) and was disappointed: [Location] The best thing about this hotel is the central location near Ben Thanh Market, including a Street Food Market across the street and all of the District 1 sights within walking distance. I actually had no issues with street noise at all. [Room] My room was a mixed bag - the sleeping area is in need of an upgrade - really old-fashioned, but the bathroom was up-to-date and functional, although sh... Read more

My husband and I stayed 2 nights here as part of our tour to Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. The hotel is well situated. Deluxe room was a good size with Jacuzzi bath but no window. It was good to be offered extra items in early evening. The rooftop pool looked good but due to weather and time there we were unable to use. We ate up there and food was of good quality and served efficiently. Breakfast had a good selection and all staff were polite and courteous. Loved the piano playing although we wer... Read more

OK. We have stayed at this hotel at three occasions. Service excellent from arrival, carrying up the bags to the green tea. Breakfast excellent. Afternoon tea a feature you will learn to appreciate more than you know. Roof┬┤top swimming pool and bar very, very nice. Basically top dollar. Rooms are a bit dated though, and could benefit from a lightening up operation. Also had a faulty window at one occasion and a confused spa on another. Recommended though!

Stayed here during my trip in HCMC. Location was pretty convenient. Walking distance from the War Remnants museum as well as the Presidential Palace, which made it easy to bang out both places in one day. The hotel itself is nice. It's not quite luxury, but it aspires to be, yet you cant really beat the price for what you get. Rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also took advantage of the free breakfast buffet, which is always a plus. Would consider staying here... Read more

We were able to book a family room in a short notice and I am grateful for that. We are a family of 5. Upon arrival we were given welcome drinks and snacks. It was refreshing since we just came from our Mekong tour. The general manager Mr. Nguyen Van Man greeted us personally, such a kind and hospitable gesture and we appreciate it much. Going to our room I saw a complimentary tray packed with fruits and cupcakes with a welcome note from the general manager. Hotel room is nice and comfy. My fami... Read more

We stayed here for two night at the end of our most recent trip to TPHCM. When we arrived, we were very upset to see that our room had no window. The service that we used to book it failed to mention (it now has it listed in VERY small print). I expressed my discontent and actually asked to cancel our reservation in order to book at another hotel nearby. They said that that was not possible. They did, however move us into another room on our second night when they had availability but it still l... Read more
