We booked this hotel because they had a summer promotion. Lucky we didn't pay full price, otherwise I would be quite upset with what we got. Stayed for 5nights. Pro- good location, great service, clean rooms, free buffet, next to a convenient store. Con-no room view, unable to share saunas with partner, stuffy elevators/gym/hallways, next to a night club which can be noisy & the gym isn't really a gym. Location- is very central. Personally the traffic was a bit too much for us to cross the ... Read more

We chose this hotel because of the location and the reviews and we weren't disappointed. We slept very well, the breakfast was good, and the hotel was clean and modern. The staff were really helpful. We walked everywhere that we wanted to visit in HCMC and felt that this hotel was in the heart of district 1.

This hotel is well located in district 1 in the heart of the city. The staff were pleasant enough with clean and tidy rooms. The bed was huge at 8ft wide. The room that we had did not have any views other than looking on to a wall. I would stay here again but I think we'll try somewhere different next time.

We had a club room with city view for a night and really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. My wife loved the jacuzzi bath which was a real treat. The staff could not do enough for us. The indoor swimming pool was unusual, as it has a wooden exterior, but great fun. The breakfast was substantial and of very good quality. The city view was not that good, but none of the hotels in Saigon seem to have great views. I would certainly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay.... Read more

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was fantastic. For the price, you get a nice hotel room, close to all the attractions and breakfast - what more could you want. We were on the 10th floor with great views of the city, got to watch a great lightning storm one night. A few other reviews mention that there is some construction work going on, yes that is the case however it's nothing to do with the hotel itself and it is everywhere in HCMC as it is developing very fast. Stayed here 2 nights in premier deluxe double. Hotel was good standard and as best we could judge good value for HCMC at rate we paid. Location was good - juts a short taxi ride to Independence Palace, etc. Our room was very well furnished to 4 star standard - had some views from our window on the 7th floor.. Bathroom good although bath/shower fittings a bit fiddly. Breakfast was on the 13th floor restaurant with good views all over the city - lots of choice as you would expect from 4 star hote... It's much harder to find good accommodation inner city than it is if you were around a beach front location. My partner and I did a lot of searching around and in the end he just booked this one. As many other reviews have stated, there is no natural light that comes into the rooms which means it is quite dark and you'll need the lights on basically all day and night. The hotel staff were lovely and often went out of their way to help in any way that they could, we couldn't fault them in any way... Read more

The hotel is centrally located in District 1, which is where the main attractions are located. Upon arrival, the bellhops cheerfully greeted us and were very gracious to us during our entire stay. They were kind to the elderly members of our party, providing umbrellas, wheelchairs and many tips. They even brought us the best Banh cuon in town to taste. The rooms are clean and spacious. Stayed for 5 days with friends in the executive rooms. Thought it was a triple bed but actually was 2 singles together. They also have 2 umbrellas in each room! WIfi in rooms was quite slow though. Also the annoying thing is there was a large window in our room which didn't have curtains, but was frosted - light shined through in the night, not enough to keep awake but still made it hard to fall asleep. Stayed here for 3 days. The hotel itself is newly renovated and it shows in the rooms. You don't get a typical cramped hotel room here with no real space to lay out the suitcases. Our City Club room has a nice area for that, a desk and even a medium sized couch. Oh and we got all that for around 70 dollars a night.

We were greeted on arrival by the concierge Mr Phi Bell, this young man made our stay much more enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and so helpful..He is an amazing asset to this hotel as he is the first person we were greeted by and therefore the face of the Harmony Saigon.

My partner and I spent three nights at the hotel, which was our first stop during our trip to Vietnam. The location was good, the room was clean and comfortable and met all our needs. The breakfast was nice but I felt that the western selection could have been more varied. I enjoyed the pool which, although small, was partly outside so it was really refreshing to cool off in after a long day sight-seeing. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Stayed here for 3 nights with two of my friends. Had a very comfortable stay and was overall extremely pleased. Only small issue (small for me, I'm not that fussy) was that upon arrival we noticed that despite having booked a room for 3 guests, we were only given a room with one King sized bed. I was confused about whether or not I had made a mistake in booking and contacted the reception. I was assigned a room on level 6. The view from the room was just the building next door, nothing great. The room is clean and the firmness of the bed is just right. The bathroom is shielded from the bedroom with only a shower blind. Not that great if you plan to share the room with someone else. Breakfast is provided and the spread is decent. The hotel seemed a bit dated, but quite solid at the same time. The shower head wouldn't stay in place, it was one of the hand-held shower heads that had a hook on the shower bar to put it in, and it kept sliding down and spraying the wall behind it instead of into the bathtub. I had to keep adjusting it, which was a bit annoying. The king size bed was the biggest I've ever seen - wider than it was long, and very comfortable.
