We booked this hotel because they had a summer promotion. Lucky we didn't pay full price, otherwise I would be quite upset with what we got. Stayed for 5nights. Pro- good location, great service, clean rooms, free buffet, next to a convenient store. Con-no room view, unable to share saunas with partner, stuffy elevators/gym/hallways, next to a night club which can be noisy & the gym isn't really a gym. Location- is very central. Personally the traffic was a bit too much for us to cross the ... Read more

We chose this hotel because of the location and the reviews and we weren't disappointed. We slept very well, the breakfast was good, and the hotel was clean and modern. The staff were really helpful. We walked everywhere that we wanted to visit in HCMC and felt that this hotel was in the heart of district 1.

This hotel is well located in district 1 in the heart of the city. The staff were pleasant enough with clean and tidy rooms. The bed was huge at 8ft wide. The room that we had did not have any views other than looking on to a wall. I would stay here again but I think we'll try somewhere different next time.

We had a club room with city view for a night and really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. My wife loved the jacuzzi bath which was a real treat. The staff could not do enough for us. The indoor swimming pool was unusual, as it has a wooden exterior, but great fun. The breakfast was substantial and of very good quality. The city view was not that good, but none of the hotels in Saigon seem to have great views. I would certainly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay.... Read more

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was fantastic. For the price, you get a nice hotel room, close to all the attractions and breakfast - what more could you want. We were on the 10th floor with great views of the city, got to watch a great lightning storm one night. A few other reviews mention that there is some construction work going on, yes that is the case however it's nothing to do with the hotel itself and it is everywhere in HCMC as it is developing very fast. Stayed here 2 nights in premier deluxe double. Hotel was good standard and as best we could judge good value for HCMC at rate we paid. Location was good - juts a short taxi ride to Independence Palace, etc. Our room was very well furnished to 4 star standard - had some views from our window on the 7th floor.. Bathroom good although bath/shower fittings a bit fiddly. Breakfast was on the 13th floor restaurant with good views all over the city - lots of choice as you would expect from 4 star hote... It's much harder to find good accommodation inner city than it is if you were around a beach front location. My partner and I did a lot of searching around and in the end he just booked this one. As many other reviews have stated, there is no natural light that comes into the rooms which means it is quite dark and you'll need the lights on basically all day and night. Stayed here for 3 days. The hotel itself is newly renovated and it shows in the rooms. You don't get a typical cramped hotel room here with no real space to lay out the suitcases. Our City Club room has a nice area for that, a desk and even a medium sized couch. Oh and we got all that for around 70 dollars a night.

My partner and I spent three nights at the hotel, which was our first stop during our trip to Vietnam. The location was good, the room was clean and comfortable and met all our needs. The shower head wouldn't stay in place, it was one of the hand-held shower heads that had a hook on the shower bar to put it in, and it kept sliding down and spraying the wall behind it instead of into the bathtub. One of the reception ream, Luan, is very helpful, and he even book reservation at local restaurant there. He showed several restaurants which might suit me. On the location it selves, also good. The street is full of shops, and 2 Trung Nguyen shops are 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

Try no:43 Mama Cook restaurant for cold beer and good local food, try no:17 or next to for Pho Bo or beef noodle soup. This hotel has excellent location if you are going to spend few days in Saigon. There are a lot of restaurants around (remember around in HCM means around 10 to 15 min driving-taxi) as well as the main city landmarks and shopping centers/markets. My room was great, clean and the breakfast was so good...variety and nice atmosphere. I don`t qualify it "excellent" because I think is around 10%-15% more expensive compared with other hotel with the same quality...but I recommended it.

I'll start with the minimal positives. The door staff are all very lovely and greet you with a friendly smile every time. The staff dedicated to hauling you a taxi are also very attentive and lovely. Unfortunately that's about where the positives for us at this hotel stopped. The negatives: This hotel was by far our worst choice during our 3 week stay in Vietnam,in 6 different hotels. Funnily enough it was also our most expensive choice, we were beyond disappointed with the hotel as a who... Read more

This hotel is located right in District 1 near great shopping and dining options and a short walk to major attractions like reunification palace. The hotel rooms are small of you're in the cheapest rooms so definitely worth the upgrade to the executive rooms which had a much bigger bathroom and more space generally. The access to the executive lounge was good for when one person was putting a toddler to bed. The staff were all very lovely. The pool is very small and not really appropriate f... Read more

Suggestion to have your breakfast very early around opening time or after 8am to find yourself a seating as it is pretty small place for breakfast if the hotel is running full house. Location towards the local market & street stalls are about 10-15mins walk away. It is very challenging in trying to cross those roads with millions of ??? & ???. Many eateries ... Read more

The hotel was ok according to his category, but the staff is not. I even would say this staff is the worst I have had during my 14 days trip around the whole country. Indeed, from the begining we had some problems to obtein a second key for our room and while doing our check out, they pretended us to pay 400.000 vietnam dongs for an umbrella they had perfectly located. At the end, after delaying 45 minutes our exit (we were a 6 people's group), a man from Vietnam heped us and we finally didnt p... Read more

Staff were very helpful and we booked 2 excellent tours through the tour desk. Great location with an easy walk to the war remnants museum and the market. Only minor complaint was that we were unaware of the extra "service charge" incurred at the pool bar. Massage was good and reasonably priced

Not much I can fault with this hotel. It is luxury at a very reasonable price. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the rooms wear nice and comfortable. It is also well located, within walking distance to most of the cities sights. One piece of advice I might give to guests is to look assess your options if booking tours. We booked tours with the concierge and could possibly have found better value elsewhere. Overall I would recommend Harmony Saigon for anyone travelling to HCMC!

Such a nice hotel. Stayed in a Harmony suite room for three lovely nights. The hotel is in a good position and they supply a map with sites of interest marked. The street is lined with tall trees. There is an ATM either side of the hotel with a Circle C convenience store. I was initially disappointed that no one responded to my e mails x 2 re pick up from the airport so we arranged it through Viator in the end. The lobby is very nice, and check in was efficient. This hotel ticks a lot of boxes. Good location, great rooms, attentive staff and an amazing breakfast all at a reasonable cost in a modern building. As I said the breakfast is amazing. Had a most comfortable stay at this excellent four star hotel near the famed Ben Tanh market. Central and near to a large park, it's not exactly walkable to sights like the War Museum given HCM City's horrendous traffic where you risk life and limb escaping cars and motorbikes when you try to use even pedestrian crossings. However taxis are cheap and can take you everywhere. Many good eateries, coffee joints and spas right on the street where hotel is situated. Staff is so polite, helpful and ... Read more

Stayed here for two night. The room was clean and most of the staff was professional and welcoming. But it's not living up to a four star hotel. While showering in the not so new and in shabby bath-tub, a lot of water came out under the tub and made the whole bathroom floor wet. The shower curtain could also be changed, since it have a red/yellow color over the whole thing (it should have been beige). Bad lighting in both the sleeping room and bathroom. Excellent situation. You can walk to all the main tourist attractions from here. The traffic is manic but the hotel is quiet if you have a room not facing the front. Good hotel and easy walk into town. Bathroom new and tiny, bedroom large with fridge. We travelled with a tour company so have no idea what they paid for the room but all in our group had a window facing a concrete wall. If you're at all claustrophobic it will be difficult. We were allocated this boutique hotel by a tour company. The hotel was pleasant and staff good but the room we were allocated was dreadful - too small, no windows and limited facilities. We had to upgrade to a delightful room that was more expensive. This had a Jacuzzi bath and a lot of space. We ate there twice and food expecially breakfasts were varied and interesting. Good quality staff but insist on seeing the room and insist on booking a better standard than basic pemium
