It's my 2nd time at this hotel and everything is at your door step if you love the nightlife and food with a good rooftop restaurant I always find my self coming back to this hotel and the staff a very friendly and helpful and never felt unsafe ??????

Location is fantastic, being at the heart of the backpacker district. Staff were also extremely helpful. The hotel rooftop bar is really good and has a great view across the city (bit pricey though) Room standards are ok, but could do with a refurb to allow in more light and to clean bathrooms and overall fittings and furniture. Value is fair, but essentially you're paying for the location. Breakfast wasn't great, mostly reheated food from the restaurants evening meals the night before.

Fabulous rooftop bar and restaurant in District one near backpackers area. Wonderful staff and good quality cheap food. So good went back for lunch next day; lovely shaded area. Discovered they also have accommodation. Will definitely try next visit. Tip; go through front door and go to lift to access rooftop bar/ restaurant.

i did not stay at this hotel because of one of the reviews i read but we did go to the rooftop bar for a few drinks, and it looks to be a verry nice clean hotel in a verry good location with great views of saigon

The hotel is right in the center of the backpacking street and there are many restaurants, street food carts, convenience stores, and bars right outside the front door. Also, this hotel has THE BEST roof top bar with great prices also (15% discount for hotel guests!). You can see the Saigon skyline. My only complaint was our shower, it was a bathtub/shower but there was no shower curtain or door and the water went everywhere!

When we were dropped of in front of the hotel from the airport, we were a bit shocked how busy the street was! There was just a tiny pavement with thousands of mopeds, bikes and everything that moves. We paid for one of the bigger rooms and it was big enough for two beds, the on suite bathroom was basic but sufficient. Breakfast was great and served in the next door restaurant (where we also had cocktails and some food in the roof top terrace). We had two tours booked via the hotel as we did no... Read more

we stayed in this hotel from 31 May 2016 to 4 June 2016 with my family. The first impression of this hotel for me was when I saw my daughter's name on the list of the welcome guest that shows in the entry :). It is walking distance to the tourist attractions street yet quiet in night time and we could sleep well. The room is clean. Breakfast: there were a lot to choose, all the food served are delicious and it was ok for us. The staffs are very helpful and patient. I would go back again if I wil... Read more

First of all, our room was very nice and it was cleaned every day. The staff was amazing, very friendly and always there to help us out. The only negative point was there was a lot of noise of children playing in the morning. But beside of that we had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It's located in a popular street so you don't have to go far for drinks or food. We would highly recommend this place.

The hotel is quite worn out and a refurbishment is well over due. Most of the staff are very friendly, however some are a little annoying when you try to have breakfast as they just want to talk, which is cool but when you are trying to eat it can be annoying. The breakfast is ok but we did see a mouse fall from the ceiling whilst eating. The hotel is ok....and at the end of the day it is 2 stars and cheap. The place is average, the wifi and tv are a bit crap as the tv is fuzzy and the w... Read more

I stayed at the Duc Vuong Hotel for three nights on my arrival to Ho Chi Minh city. The reviews on the location of the hotel made it a good option for me and the price was reasonable. The hotel is quite dated in terms of decoration and the rooms are stuck in the 80s and very tired. Having said that the rooms are clean and well kept with a mini bar and decent storage space. The staff are so helpful particularly the female receptionist (it's Ms Ly or Long). The staff are always interested to kno... Read more

It was a wonderful experience to stay in the Hotel located in the heart of Saigon. Rooms, though small, were clean and tidy. Staff was courteous smiley and helpful esp Miss Ly Ly. They gave us all kind of support and guide us to go around the city.Roof top cafe was superb to enjoy the evening time. Overall it was a marvelous stay in the Duc Vuong! Dr Zafar

We stayed in the VIP room $265 AUS for 3 nights. The room is a good size with a view, sound asleep every night no noise. Good breakfast and very relaxing in the roof top bar. Vietnam is the cheapest of all Asia food and drink. Try to stay away from the western style restaurants, stick to smaller out of the way places. This hotel is on an exciting vibrant street with easy walking distance to town, markets, shopping etc. Mr. Linh and zoom are the only two names I recall they were terrific as were ... Read more

We were supposed to stay at this hotel for 4 nights, but checked out after one. The front desk was friendly, but the hotel room was a bit dingy and unkempt. Bed covers had multiple stains on them. When we first entered the room I had to kill a couple of pretty good sized spiders. The area is very busy and lively at night, which can be a good thing if that's what you're looking for; however, that also means that the street and the area (right outside the hotel front door) was overrun with rats....
