Cinnamon is a stylish boutique hotel with distinctive room decor, in a very central location. The room lighting was a trifle dim for my taste. There is no lift which was not an issue for me, but could be a key consideration for some travellers. The staff are exceptionally gracious and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay

The thing that stood out most about our stay here was how friendly and accommodating everyone was. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of and had everything we needed. They basically answered all of our questions before we even got a chance to ask them. The hotel itself is very nice too. It was smaller than I expected, but very cozy and the rooms were nice. The location is convenient with many sights and restaurants within walking distance. We would not hesitate to stay he... Read more

I booked this hotel for our first two nights in Ho Chi Minh last month. Great little hotel, in a good location in District 1 only 10 mins walk from most of the sights and museums. The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome very minute. Overall a wonderful experience staying at the Cinnamon Saigon.

I am basing this review on the cost and value. No it's not a 5 star hotel. It is a cute fun experience with great value. All of the reviews mention the staff and how cool they are. There seems to be a friendship and respect between all of the staff. They are caring and go of the way to accommodate. Yes there is not an elevator and you have to walk up stairs. Perhaps we are live in a crazy world but we walk up stairs daily and it's good exercise. It's not like they only give you a short time to c... Read more

Stayed at the Cinnamon for 3 nights. It was a good value. It is a small hotel well located with District 1. The staff was really friendly and helpful, but the rooms feel a bit old and can be improved with some cosmetic refreshments. The room was clean and comfortable. It was spacious enough and the A/C kept me cold enough to sleep comfortably. The bathroom was decent, although the temperature inside was really hot because of poor air cirulation. The wi-fi signal was not stable and must be impro... Read more

We stayed here with our 2 and 4 year old in April 16 for two nights on the last leg of our holiday in Vietnam. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful and our room was very large, very cool and very quiet - the last two are pertinent given how hot and loud a place HCMC is! They arranged transfer to the airport, a foot massage across the road for myself and my daughter and gave us good tips for exploring the city. Highly recommend & incredible value for money

We stayed here for four nights at the start of our holiday in Vietnam. Hannah and Jenny helped us book our 3 sets of train tickets for travel throughout Vietnam via email back and forth to Devon, England. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and they knew all our names. They booked a great trip to the Mekong Delta for us and gave us free cocktails and foot massages. We are now in Nha Trang at a big plush hotel near the beach but we do miss the friendliness of the Cinnamon and their very... Read more

I stayed for a night before heading to the airport so I decided move to small hotel and learnt that this's good hotel. yes. it's nice such as boutique hotel. the service was very good. But I couldn't sleep. it's too noisy. Noise came from the sounds of closing next door and big noise came from down street. The sound horn was very loud, I couldn't sleep well. please consider about the noise prevention

We spent 4 days in this delightful hotel in a surprisingly quiet location in the chaos of district one. The staff were amazing, greeted us by name every time they saw us and went to great trouble to make sure we were happy and comfortable. This is a small hotel - maybe only ten rooms , so it had a very personal feel. The rooms themselves were spacious and spotlessly clean. Special thanks to Kim, Jenny, Hannah and Tony for their hospitality.

Stayed here 3 days on a business trip in June 2016. The hotel is small scale, perhaps 10 rooms or so. The rooms are decent in size, simple in terms of decoration and amenities. Good enough for a couple of days' stay. The beds are good and the room is relatively quiet (I was on a high floor facing the back). The staff is really trained to make a difference. They're attentive, ready to help and actively try to contribute to a pleasant stay in Ho Chi Minh. For me they struck the right balance betwe... Read more

In the middle of a bustling and hectic city this is a quant hotel offering a personalised touch however don??t expect five star with all the bells and whistles. It is a five level walk up with various levels of accommodation. My wife and I occupied their best offering; the King Roof Top room with balcony. A bit of an effort climbing the stairs but a peaceful reprieve from the hustle & bustle. Showing a bit of wear and tear the room which is adorned with dark timber walls, floors, ceiling and ... Room was spacious and nicely furnished. Bed and pillow is possibly the best we have had in Asia and the room had shutters meaning we actually slept in the morning (again unusual in Asia). All people at reception were fabulous and very helpful in everything. Breakfast (included in the price) was very pleasant. You can find good hotels in the area for half the price but altogether it was worth the difference. Only beware: there is no elevator. Very good location in District 1.

Staying at the cinnamon hotel was a great experience all round. The rooms are beautifully put together and the location was fantastic. The best feature however were the staff! They were very welcoming and friendly and always happy to answer questions and give advice. We would love to visit again and couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough!

This is a beautiful hotel and centrally located. It has AC and a bath tub and more importantly, great staff! They hook you up with recommendations, negotiate cab rides, and just want to talk to you! The hotel is great (really the location leaves you in walking distance to some cool sites) but the people are the best part! Miss you, Kim!!!

Inside the Cinnamon looks stylish - dark stained timber and bespoke bamboo light fittings. There's aircon but we preferred to open the timber shutters and feel the stir of a sturdy old ceiling fan. The position is excellent and yet the room we had at the back facing a courtyard was surprisingly quiet. But what makes it remarkable is the hospitality of the staff, especially Jenny and Kim whose smiling faces greet you at reception.

Nice room with view of the street. The hotel and the room were spotless. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of choices. But, it was the staff that make the Cinnamon Hotel truly great. They were warm, friendly and very helpful. The night we arrived I was not feeling well. The hotel does not serve dinner but they went out, purchased some food for us, plated it and brought it to our room. This service was very much appreciated.

We stayed as a family of four in the rooftop rooms and our expectations were exceeded. Firstly, the amazing welcome by the team, you immediately become friends with them all!! The warmth and welcome make you feel like you have just been invited into a family home. The breakfasts are not fancy but again, just like home style and very adequate. Location could not be better. This is a real Saigon experience. Forget the big fancy hotels, this is the real deal with hospitality unrivalled. You'll wish... Read more
