In a street right off the main tourist walking areas is one more mini hotel that will not disappoint. Decent rooms, and a choice of sizes/prices. En-suites are on the small side so it would be one at a time in there - but they are well equipped. Everything is clean and safe. Lobby has a free internet PC and somewhere to store your bags. There is so much choice in this area of the market but I can recommend this as suitable for business or holiday if you don't want to splash out on the 5star offe... Read more

the room was small but clean. We were happy with our stay there. however, there are some major highrise buildings that are about halfway through development on pretty much every corner of this hotel- so if you want to sleep in....... its in the sushi and massage area of town. which was good. its a few blocks from markets and city life. its a great location. the staff were excellent, friendly and very hospitable guys. very sweet. if you stay here, be sure to go to a club called Vasco's down and a... New Star is a fine, small Japanese oriented and decorated hotel on a quiet street in the center of Saigon. Although some construction is still be finished off nearby, work noise is now reasonably limited. The folk running the hotel are fantastic. Unlike the previous 'beware' comment, we have found in our multi-week stay no dodgy people hanging around this hotel or its street/neighborhood. Quite safe, with many sushi and foreign restaurants in the area. Breakfasts have been most enjoyable -- but... Read more
