Stayed in this hotel for two days. Ventilation in corridors a problem. Air conditioning is old type - split and does work but takes a long time to cool the rooms. When humidity goes up air conditioning gets in effective further. Staff helpful and smiling.

I was stayed in the hotel for two nights. I have changed my room two times, noise problem the first time, and air conditioned broken the second one. Smell cigarets all around. Breakfast is ok. People is friendly.

I was here while on a business trip. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the place - I had a nice room, it was clean, and it's a great location for exploring the local neighbourhood. Breakfast was fine. I would go again if back in Ho Chi Minh.

Check in was smooth and efficient for a big group . Luggage are managed by the bellboy upon check in . Places of interest are within walking distance such as night market , train station , church , shopping mall and etc. Breakfast are marvelous ! Wifi are good within the compound with clean environments. No any big issue in this hotel . Just a friendly reminder for the hotel , to check the safe box in the rooms are working fine as this is a quite useful for overseas guest to keep their belonging... Read more

I requested for a non smoking and quiet room and that was given to me. The room was in 5th flr and far enough from the restaurant downstairs which can be full of people - tourist and social events. Wifi is very fast too. When I ran out of VND, they accepted by USD. The hotel is across Sheraton Hotel which where I have to attend a business event

Bong sen hotel is ideally located on District 1. There are nos. of good hotels . restaurants, luxury shopping around. We hv booked the room with B/F on non refundable basis but when we went for B/F next morning we were informed that your booking is booked on ROOM only basis. We showed our booking with B/F but they refused.Though they did send Emails to Expedia about B/F but no reply was recd till we checked out after 2 nights stay. But reception staff obliged next morning and gave B/F parcel- onl... Read more

The hotel is located in the city center, all tourist attractions are in walking distance. The room was ok, carpet was kind of old and filthy but the toilet is clean and quite big. What I like the most about this hotel is buffet breakfast. Too many choices wide range of asian food. They changed the dishes on everyday basis.

Stayed here for 1 night - very small rooms with old dirty carpet and small bed - overpriced for what you are getting - claimed that breakfast was free and included but I was told that i had to pay even though reception said I didn't the night before - breakfast buffet selection is mediocre - the halls are pretty noisy- you can hear the elevator go up and down from the room Overall I do not recommend this hotel; I am very unhappy with the lack of value and service. The only pro is the location ... Read more

When we first arrived we were shown to our room and it stank of stale cigarettes, we requested to move rooms and were moved to a different floor which was better but still not as fresh as we'd have liked. The room decor was nice and the aircon worked really well which was a massive plus considering how hot it was outside. The bathroom was a little bit dated however. Breakfast was good but had some very random things, such as hot dogs and sausage rolls yet there were no pastries and the drinking ... Read more

Enjoyed my brief but momentous stay. I've heard so much about Vietnam in general and hardly imagined I'd ever visit. But boy I realy loved my brief visit. The Bong Sen hotel we stayed was ideal. It was strategically located and for a brief moment I was able to walk to picturesque sites that will make me remember Vietnam for the rest of my life. Of course I plan to come back but will not mind at all staying in this hotel.

Stayed on this Hotel last September 2016 for a business related trip. The room is neat and the WiFi Access is fast. The staff was accommodating and assist us on our needs. The location is strategic and near to other ideal place such as Opera Building and Church. The food taste good for a new guy in a foreign land like me. ?????? Overall, it is a nice hotel to consider in your visit to Vietnam.

I lived in Saigon throughout 2014, and I recommended Bong Sen to family and visitors - now I recommend it to friends and other travelers! This is a great, affordable, clean hotel with comfy beds and western amenities, and it's in the perfect location (Dong Khoi, a major shopping street located in D1) to explore the city on foot or by motorbike. It's also not in the backpacker district, which leads to a much quieter, nicer stay. And unlike some other luxury hotels in Saigon with pricey rooms, fam... Read more

I have stayed here 4 times over the last 6 or so years and the Bong Sen has changed little in that time. Service is always okay....not brilliant but not awful either. The rooms are cramped but have everything you need for a stay. At times you might get stuck with a room that smells (badly) of cigarette smoke. That's not so nice. You may also have noisy neighbours who slam doors at all hours of the night. However, the location is really good and it is also good value compared with other hot... Read more

Duration of stay : 4 nights (14 to 18 Nov 2016). Very old hotel. I had to change room for 3 times because the air conditioner was not cold at all. I tolerated sleeping in a warm, stuffy room with no view for 2 nights because they are fully booked. I was given a room with a good aircond on the 3rd night. Hotel reception informed me that i will be charged me a total of USD 70 for the new room because it is facing the road with windows. I guess it is considered an upgrade. I don't mind paying but y... Besides the cockroaches, the first-floor-back-of-building-tiny-smelly room with no light at top price, the noisy A/Cs buzzing all night in the vent my window gave on, the mediocre quality of breakfast, and the clueless staff that needs to be called 4 times in an hour to remind them they promised to come in 5 minutes... I guess... everything was OK? I assume in the best rooms with natural light the experience might be different. But a hotel is only as good as what they can do for you when you're... Read more
