Within walking distance to Bui Vien Street. A comfortable hotel with helpful staff who did all they could to accommodate us. The rooftop bar and spa is really good - but a little confusing. You have to pay to use it on top of your room fee. That may have only been our room - but nevertheless, confusing. Other than that - highly recommend for value for money in the mid range level. Breakfast is very good!

This hotel reminded me of an older hotel one would find in New York City. Small rooms, a bit worn, but clean and fine for one night. We had a room on the top floor and it had a balcony that was a funky tiled space with a little plastic stool. The view was nice- overlooking rooftops and the street. It was fun to watch the traffic at night! The breakfast buffet was just okay. The location is great- in walking distance of the large city indoor market and some restaurants. I highly recommend dining ... Read more

Went to this hotel to relax for a couple of days before heading back to Australia. Paying the most we have so far you could say we are highly disappointed. Room looks rather old, nothing fancy except for an abnormally wide bed, but then the tv is not a the wall in front of the bed but on the wall to left of the bed?!? Another thing we were interested in was the roof spa terrace/jacuzzi they advertise is open till 11 pm. When we got up there at 8 pm the the jacuzzi was half empty and not cleaned.... Read more

we originally booked two nights but due to some problems stayed for 5 days in a row. our changed plans made no difference to the staff at the Alagon - they could not have been more helpful and empathetic to our situation! the staff were absolutely a delight and were the best advertisement for this hotel! 100% recommended!

Room was acceptable. Clean, comfy. My room had windows facing the road, at night was able to hear the traffic and the music from another hotel across the road. Hotel is not suitable for the disabled. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly

The hotel was worth the amount paid. It is located at a fairly good location within a few minutes from Ben Thanh Market. If you want a hotel near to the market but is quieter so that you are able to rest, this is a good hotel. What makes the hotel greater is the staff who are helpful and always ready to assist. Nevertheless, cleanliness could be improved.

Once again, the hotel provides great services, this is the 5th time staying at this hotel and they always lift up their standard of service. They have a new bar with great music and great food also. The outdoor jacuzzi is the best part after a long day. Strongly recommended.

Great hotel right in the thick of the action. We arrived to building works and the staff were amazing and moved us straight away. Great rooms, great breakfast and a nice little bar downstairs too. If you want a nice hotel in the heart of the action then give this place a go.

Really friendly staff and really nice location but no window in our room which was a bit of a shame. The location was very central to everything. The breakfasts were also very worth it as there was pho constructed freshly.

We stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights. It is in a great location. Very close to Ben Tranh markets and restaurants. It is also within walking distance to a lot of the sites. The hotel has a rooftop pool and gym and also has a Day Spa. The staff were excellent and very friendly and they would go out of their way to assist us with whatever we needed. We would highly recommend this Hotel and will definitely stay here again on our next visit. Steve & Karen Australia

As with all foreign Hotels we find small things that we ar not accustomed with when travelling. Upon speaking to Reception staff on our night of arrival to query such I was met with ultra courtesy. Through a language barrier difficulties were experienced and the lady informed me that she would contact the manager who was temporarily unavailable at this stage. I was assured that contact would be made first chance in the morning.Next morning I received a phone call advising me that the manager ha... Read more

In a good area, surrounded by coffee shops close to several of the busy streets. There are 3 separate areas to this one building which made it all quite confusing but every member of staff was extremely helpful and helped us along the way. We got the room on agoda which said we were at alagon central but we weren't, we were actually at alagon city (all one building but separate parts). Due to this, we did not get to use the pool unless we wanted to pay a $9 fee. The rooftop bar is right next to... Read more

Booked this hotel through Booking.com last minute. Paid USD80 a night for a "Family Room" with 2 Queen size beds. I have been staying in hotels in more then 30 countries over about 30 years. Therefore, the rating here is base on my own opinion during my stay in August 2016. Hotel is now under renovation. Location-9/10 (Superb location) Overall cleanliness-5.5/10 (Carpet is old) Price-6/10 (A little too expensive for such old hotel) Quality of room-4/10 (Old furniture, old shower room, totally n... We booked 3 rooms through Expedia for a one night stay. Upon check-in we were told the rooms were not available. The dumb-founded excuse given is "the rooms are under renovation"! They offered us downgraded rooms without windows and throw-in a cheap freebie. I guess they sold our room. Such unproffessional conduct!

I usually stay at Alagon City Point Hotel & Spa when I travel to Saigon. This hotel is located at the central of the city. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great. The hotel staff provide excellent service when I check in. This is definitely the best 3 stars hotel in Saigon.

My travel party got two family rooms, one on the 5th floor and one on 6th floor. The one on the 5th floor has a one step stair riser in front of the family room while 6th floor is all flat. Since the hallway light is dimmed and carpet color is dark, I didn't realize that step when I walked out the fifth floor family room, fell and sprained my ankle on the very first day I arrived. I couldn't stand up after my injury and no one in the hotel noticed my injury. (don't think there is any surveillanc... Read more

The spa in this hotel is really really good indeed. My husband and I both had a full body massage for one hour and both loved it. The hotel is fairly good, and I can't fault it in any way, except it is fairly basic and the service is good but not wonderful. Breakfast was nice and they have a chef cooking omelettes and other things which is very good indeed. The room was clean, although there were little ants in the bathroom and you have to hold the shower attachment above you otherwise it goes m... Read more

We booked this hotel from a friend's suggestion and were completely satisfied. We really loved the staff and they made our stay wonderful by supporting us in every needs if possible and it couldn't be better, it felt like home! Also our room was so nice for a 3-star hotel as it was big even enough for us to choose to lay in bed or on the floor :)) Anyway, thank you wonderful guys! We will absolutely be back next time when we come back from our tour to Laos.

Came back the hotel recently and there is a new facelift to the hotel. The room with all brandnew furnitures, love the new decoration and the staffs are excellent. They had a new bar with live music at the basement and it was great fun at night. Strongly recomment this place.

Recently stayed at this hotel and its has the best location. Room with classic furniture and bed is comfortable. Breakfast has great selection and the staff are great. Outdoor rooftop bar is a perfect place after long day walking around the market. All tourist spots can easily reach by walking. Love this place.

Not even sure where to start with this hotel.. Firstly when I booked it it mentioned no where that there was an extra service charge of 10 USD to use the pool for 1 day, very misleading to advertise photos of the pool. The room was meant to be a premium deluxe suite, no where did it mention it had no window & a door leading into next door where other people had been staying. These people partied all night and I could hear every word as if they were in my room. Wallpaper was falling off the... Read more

We booked a deluxe room with booking.com for 3 nights. Were disappointed by the quality of the room & the fact that it didn't look like the photos online at all. the room was dark & the lighting was terrible. There was also barely any natural light. Our balcony had no where to sit, was filthy & there were cords everywhere. The bathroom was small & didn't look the cleanest. On the website there was no mention of a fee to access the pool ($9 USD) which was really frustrating. There are 2 other Ala... Read more
