This hotel is defiantly worth the price. The rooms are clean and a good size. We upgraded to the honeymoon suit because it really wasn't that much more than a standard room and really liked it. The staff is beyond wonderful. If you need anything at all they will go above and beyond to help you, especially Tam. The only slight down side is the location. It isn't too bad, but the bar area and shopping is about a ten minute walk. For us it wasn't that big of a deal. This company has a few other ho... Read more

I spent 4 amazing days here during my first visit to Hanoi. The room was perfect - so clean and the building itself was charming. I cannot say enough about the warm and friendly staff. I will definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in and experience the old quarter of the city! Thanks for a beautiful 4 days!

I just did a 6 country trip in Asia for 4 weeks. We stayed in multiple cities and dozens of different hotels and this was by far the best hotel of the entire trip. The hotel room was nice the breakfast was great but the hospitality was the best I have received anywhere and that is saying a lot because I go to Las Vegas every month lol. Both employees at the hotel Thum and Eric were the nicest most friendly people ever. They are truly passionate about their guests enjoying their stay. I would rec... Read more

The staff at this hotel were so friendly and nice. They were helpful and always had smiles on their faces. The free Vietnamese coffee and tea in reception was an added bonus! The room and bathroom were both very clean and tidied up every day. Shower wAs separate from toilet with a full bath tub. The AC worked well and we loved our stay at this hotel.

Great buffet breakfast, nice room and friendly staff. Unlike the other place we stayed at, the staff didn't offer a map of Hanoi or advice on things to do in the city. The hotel is a solid 15-20 minute walk to the lake. We had to switch rooms because the first one smelled of fresh paint.

Tu Linh hotel was perfect. Friendly staff who were very accommodating and helpful. Room was clean and suited our needs. Breakfast included and it was delicious. Highly recommend. We even needed a room for a couple hours before our night train and they gave us a great price for a half stay. Very helpful.

We stayed three nights at Tu Linh Legend in June. Our room was clean and well presented, excellent value for money. The staff are friendly and take care to memorise your face and name so they can greet you and help you find your way around Hanoi and the Old Quarter. We arrived during the shoulder season and were upgraded to a larger balcony room for free. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk to the Bia Hoi corner where street food and cheap drinks are plentiful. Ten minutes walk takes you to Hoan... Read more

We stayed at Tu Linh Legend Hotel for one night and it was a great experience. We booked a nice cruse to Ha Long Bay through the hotel. When we got back to the hotel we were offered a hot shower before we went on the night bus. We came back from Ha Long Bay with to guys who hadn't stayed at the hotel the night before. However, the friendly personel still offered them a hot shower as if they had stayed there as well. Extremely friendly staff, helpful and they all speak great english. Overall... Read more

Stayed for a couple of nights in two different rooms as I had booked a Halong Bay tour in between (via Hotel). Staff was very helpful with any requests. Rooms were very clean. Good location in the old quarter. Will definitely come back. Great value for the money.

Booked the hotel after landing at Hanoi airport. The hotel is in the old quarter. Spoke with Tam, who was most helpful. Due to time constraints we were staying only for 1 night. Once we reached the hotel Tam was most enthusiastic in greeting us and confirming our arrangements. Our rooms were upgraded without us asking. While we waited for our rooms to be ready (about 10 min) we were offered tea and coffee, which is available in limitless quantities at the lobby throughout the day. The rooms were... Read more

We stayed in this hotel for our entire Hanoi stay and booked all of our trips (Halong Bay + SaPa) through them as well. Words cannot describe how appreciative we feel for the service we received and how great was the entire crew, taking care of any issue, need or want that we had, for example allowing us to check in really early. A definitely recommended stay, especially if you book the spacious honeymoon suites that are really worth the upgrade sum.

I stayed here with two nights with a friend before going to Halong Bay. We booked directly through the hotel website. The room was nice and clean with the usual amenities- kettle, tea and coffee, hair dryer, TV etc, and the location of the hotel very convenient. The staff at the hotel were also very friendly and helpful, especially Eric! Thank you for a great stay.

Great location, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, great value for money. Couldn't have asked for more for the price we paid! We had an early flight and they made breakfast for us to take. The reception staff were amazing. Highly recommend. Thanks for a fab stay! Laura and Tom :-)

great location with really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was varied and of a good quality also. excursions can be booked here to places all over Northern Vietnam, and bulk luggage can be left whilst you take a small backpack etc.

This is a nice hotel, staff are very kind and helpful, except the male receptionist who works during late night into early morning. He is rude, not helpful, but if there are other staff in the lobby, he acts different and tries to be bit more nicer. He is not helpful just acting when other people are around. I had a big backpack and a broken foot when I checked out of the hotel very early morning, and he looked at me and didn't even get up to help me with the bags or anything. Even when I went o... Nice clean room, good breakfast, great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We like to walk and we found it easy to get from here to the lake in the Centre of Hanoi where there is a lot of activity.

This hotel is very cheep one, but worst hotel that i've stayed in vietnam. I've stayed in a Family Room, but floor wood is lifted from floor. Plus, there's mold on a toilet shoes, dead fly on curtain. Staff's attitude was also not good, reception was Ok, but others were terrible : tiresome. the room was big enough to stay 2pax. I would'n recommend this hotel in hanoi.

The personnel, especially Tam, we're amazingly friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast offers broad variety of food and the hotel is just a few streets from the busy part (so much quieter, but still really central). Tam is a lovely person, so warm and attentive, and helped us organising the trips to Sapa and Ha Long Bai. It's not the cheapest hotel, but it's really good value for money so we would definitely go there again!

This little Hotel is close to the center of the old town of Hanoi - actually it is so close that you will be able to reach all places of the Old Town by foot! The room was clean and came with a comfortable bed. But not all room have their own windows. Hotel staff is very helpful and friendly. The Hotel offers a small but fully sufficient breakfast (at a low price). The hotel can arrange transfer to the airport on request!

We stayed here for one night only, but we were blown away by the kindness of the hotelteam! we had a standard double room and were more than happy! The breakfast is simple but more than enough and very good! :) we booked a train from here to dong hoi and their assistance was more than helpful too. laundry service is quite expensive (2$ the kilo) if you got to make a big wash like we did, but everything was clean and smelled nice, so no problem! thank you Tu Linh Legend for your tips and help ... My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights while in Hanoi and were shocked as to how friendly and helpful all the staff were. We got upgraded to a room when we checked in and they had a beautiful breakfast every morning for free to start your day. The hotel is immaculate and the staff are more than happy to organize transfers and anything you need while in Vietnam. We went to halong bay and came back and needed tickets for a train for our next city in Vietnam and the staff sorted it so quickly ... Read more

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff we only stayed one night as we were going to hue the next day. But the rooms were big and clean and offered free tea and coffee. We had to wait around for our sleeper bus - which I'll review elsewhere- the staff were happy to help with what ever we asked and they even let us have a shower before leaving to get the bus so we were nice and fresh for the overnight bus. The hotel helped us book the bus and what an experience it was! Would recommend this hotel... Read more
