We arrived in Hanoi post a tour to Ha Long Bay, with a night train booked for 10pm - arriving on New Years Eve meant everything was closed! We couldn't find anywhere so went into Larosa Hotel for some advice. The lovely staff on the reception desk said there was a restaurant on the top floor with wifi, we can head there. We went up to the 11th floor to a great view and very smiley welcoming staff. We had some drinks, dinner and the hotel saved us! Thank you so much. The staff never pushed for us... Read more

We spend here 2 nights in a different times just for transit before we went to Ha Long Bay and after we came back from Ha Long Bay. The travel agent chose this hotel and shortly we quite satisfied. Their service is nice. They were ready at 11.30 pm when we arrived at the hotel after 5-6 hour of flight from Indonesia. Room is nice too. The size is not too small. Clean, with quite complete stuffs inside the room. We slept well that night at that room. Breakfast is good, above our expectation ... Read more

We stayed there for 1 night before we head to halong bay the next day. Rooms where ok but location of the tv is very off. It's beside the bed so difficult to watch when lying down especially we got a twin bedroom. The breakfast was good though. Quite a variety.

I found the Hotel rooms were very nice and the Hotel Manager (Jane) very friendly and helpful. The complimentry breakfasts on the 11th floor were also very good with a omlette chef on hand also making lovely Waffles. I will return.

We felt very welcome. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. They responded quickly to any requests and had excellent suggestions for places to eat and visit. The hotel was clean with everything we needed. It is walking distance to many of the must see attractions.

Stayed here for a few hours while waiting to leave on the night train to Sapa. Had dinner in the restaurant on the 11th floor - they put us in a room that had been closed off with no AC and only turned on the AC when we were in the room. It never got comfortable during the meal. We attempted to order a variety of dishes for dinner, but most of the ones we wanted were not available, the ones we did order were obviously of the frozen food variety. As my husband said, it was the equivalent to... Read more

We spent 3 nights here and would definitely stay again. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast is great. The staff were fantastic at helping us to organise our visit in Hanoi, and beyond. The location is a little out of the old quarter, but walking distance to everything in town.

The hotel is clean and nice, but the staff made the experience. We had some trouble with our tour agency and the staff was so sweet and helpful to sort the hole thing out. They translated for us and just took care of everything! I can only recommend this hotel. Our safety deposit didn't work in our room so they just kept our things in the deposit in the lobby. The breakfast is continental, but there is still too much asian food for my taste - this is the only downside.

We booked this place because it was a short walk from the train station, and also a short walk from the temple of literature. They were able to get us a room on a high floor with a bathtub, and for US$20 more (half day charge) let us check in at 6am with breakfast. The breakfast is good (especially the passion fruit) and served on the top floor with a view of the station
