This place exceeded all expectations. The staff were warm, professional and nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to make my birthday special: from private dinner on the jetty, to a cake presented by 3 singing waiters, to the happy birthday spelt out on my bed in palm leaves by the cleaning staff. Food was great, room (waterfront with plunge pool) was luxurious without being excessive. The water sports equipment was high quality and included. One of the best trips I have had- ... Read more

The Staff: Talei, Frederick and all the staff at the Havannah went out of their way to make sure our experience was perfect. This was the first hotel we have ever stayed in that at the end of the trip, we didn't miss our own bed! The Service: Nothing was too hard, no matter the request. All the staff in the restaurant, together with their beautiful big smiles and island charm made every meal there enjoyable and entertaining. The Havannah is a lovely place to stay. The staff are very accommodating. Our oceanfront rooms were very well kept - thanks to the cleaning staff :) The food was also excellent! There is plenty to see in the water. Snorkeling is very good there. We saw lots of different tropical fish & turtles. We went on the small hobie catamaran for an afternoon and chased dolphins around the bay. A lovely relaxing place to stay. Note: We had a few tours booked while we were on the mainland. I asked ... Second day we did a little trip around the lagoon in a catamaran and we saw the sunset from there, it was beautiful! we also did snorkelling and kayaking! amazing experience! food was great, room was very clean and the best of all was the staff! all of them were super nice with us. We recently spent a week at The Havannah. It was a perfect week. The Havannah is set in beautiful grounds that are perfectly tended; the bungalows are modern and attractive, very spacious, extremely well maintained and comfortable and designed to maximise the view over the beautiful harbour. We enjoyed drinks sitting on our private jetty and watching the sunset; a BBQ especially cooked for us at our own BBQ; and jumped into our private plunge pool whenever the urge took us. The Havannah will exceed your expectations. ALL Managers and Staff were welcoming and friendly which made you feel like you were part of one big happy family. They can organize tours or day trips with your own personal driver/tour guide. A lot of the reviews of this resort have focussed on tiny negatives. If you're going to resent the lost pennies of every bottle of water you drink, then resorts of this calibre may be beyond your budget. This isn't to say it's over-priced: my wife is a great bargain-hunter and we thought it was excellent value. It certainly compares favourably with the Tokoriki Island Resort in Fiji, which is a pretty decent yardstick. We found the Havannah to be a wonderful place with friendly staff, a relaxed... Read more

What a fantastic and magical place to stay. The food was outstanding and the facilities were breath taking. Our ocean view room was such a beautiful sanctuary and we were so relaxed and legitimately lost all concept of time. The people were so lovely and no request was too big of an ask. The only con I have is that we had to go home. We will always return to this hotel whenever we visit Vanuatu in future.

My partner and I wanted a holiday where there were no kids and away from the general "riff-raff" from other tourists. The Havannah is about a 30 min drive from town. You have an unbelievable view of the beach and you sit back and watch the sunset not looking at other resorts. On our first day we planned our week and made bookings on various activities via Joshua. We sat on the lounges overlooking the harbour, sipped delicious cocktails and freshened up with the scented towels as we received all our welcome information. We were then escorted to our villa and left to settle in. We stayed in a lagoon pool villa which overlooke... Read more

My husband and I spent 5 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Everything was exceptional. We chose a garden room and loved the privacy it afforded us. The villas are beautiful and have everything you could wish for. The staff from management down made our stay such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend the Havannah if you want to get away and be spoilt. The food was world class.

My wife and i stayed at the Havannah for the third time in October, we stayed in a lagoon pool villa which we love the fact the pool is at your front door. The room was clean and comfortable as it has been in the past and the food and service fantastic We spend most of our time relaxing by the pool and head down to the restaurant for pre dinner drinks to watch the sunset which is terrific. We enjoyed talking to the staff and finding out a bit about their lives in Vanuatu, especially people such ... Read more

There was no sense of having any ... Read more

Where to start with so much to say. I'll keep it brief. We were greeted by Alexander, she is just lovely she went through the resort offerings and anything we thought we might need. My husband had a coffee on arrival and I was brought a refreshing drink. We were shown to our villa which was beautiful in its simplicity and the view was to die for. The staff were personal and attentive and were happy to ensure we had everything we needed every day. We were greeted every day by our names which was ... Read more

I've visited many luxury resorts around the world and can honestly say The Havannah is right up there. The photos are gorgeous but still do not do it justice, Havannah Bay is possibly one of the most beautiful places on earth. My girlfried and I had the most fabulous 10 days; the villas are lovely, staff super friendly and the location stunning. Thanks Havannah! Karen & Nicky, Auckland

The dining experience is fantastic, terrific food and wine all in a lovely setting. It is really a special place to relax and enjoy a superb environment and its adults only.
