The Buccaneer

The three beaches at Buccaneer are recognized as some of the finest beaches on St. Croix. Guests receive complimentary use of ocean kayaks, snorkeling gear, floating mats, beach toys and games at our staffed Beach Shacks.
Parents get a break and kids get to have fun at our complimentary Kids` Camp for 4-12 year olds, from 9:30am-5:30pm, with beach fun, games, crafts, movies and other age-appropriate activities.
Guest can enjoy Nature and History Walk, Fitness Center and Jogging Trail, yoga, crab races, art classes, introductory SCUBA demonstration, weekly manager`s cocktail party, shopping, golf, on the resort 18 hole course, tennis at one of 8 courts, or just lay back and relax on one of the three palm-shaded beaches of The Buccaneer hotel.

BREAKFAST AT THE TERRACE: All resort guests receive complimentary breakfast, served each morning on the Terrace or occasionally beachside at the Mermaid. Guests can choose from the buffet, which includes daily egg specialties and omelet station, breakfast meats, pancakes, waffles, french toast, hot and cold cereals, freshly baked breads, muffins and pastries, fresh cut fruit selections, yogurt, juices and coffee and fine teas. As an option, guests can order their favorite breakfast, which is also complimentary, from the kitchen.
Breakfast is included for resort guests; visitors $21.50.

"We had a wonderful experience here. The property is beautiful and well kept. The beaches are gorgeous, very clean, and the water was the perfect temprature. The staff was amazing. For example I overheard a conversation between two of the staff at breakfast. Aparently there was something one of the guests wanted for breakfast and it was not available at the resort. One of the staff offered to stop at the store to pick it up on their way to work the next morning! How can you get better than that? We look forward to returning soon"

"We went to the Buccaneer for our 25th anniversary and we had a wonderful time. My wife and I have been all over the world so I can honestly say that the resort is truly world class. The staff takes care of every possible need you may have all you have to do is ask. The beach side villa was awesome. It was nice to fall asleep with the sounds of the ocean right outside our balcony. I can not say enough about the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff at the Buccaneer. They were extremely nice and made the entire vacation a great experience. The only warning I have for people is bring plenty of bug spray because the no-see-ums and mosquitoes are relentless if you decide to venture off the beaten path. The resort is a little pricey as far as food goes but I must say the preparation is excellent and it is the best and freshest seafood we have ever had.
The diving and snorkeling are the best in the Caribbean so bring an underwater camera too. I would recommend Anchor Dive Center at Salt River Bay.
We did have a problem at the airport with our luggage. I am told that it is very common for luggage to arrive the day after you arrive. Don't panic like we did and go buy a new wardrobe thinking that you'll never see your luggage again."
