"My husband and I stayed here for our Honeymoon this past week. The staff were immediately warm and inviting and helped us get our luggage to our room. They were very good at explaining the ins and outs of our all-inclusive package and were able to answer any questions we had. The wait staff and bar tenders were absolutely outstanding and made us feel right at home! We give major kudos to the staff in the casino and bar!! They were amazing and made sure our cups were never empty! The wait staff were wonderful and laid back. It did take us a bit to get adjusted to what we quickly came to call 'Island Time' as our food seemed to take some time in getting to us but once it arrived we were never disappointed in the quality! The pizza joint that is located at the resort is outstanding! Honestly some of the best pizza we have ever had!! Our room was lovely and quite comfortable. The cleaning staff were on their A game and always had our room nice and clean when we would return from our outings. There was an abundance of towels and other toiletries and we never felt like we didn't have enough. The only problem we encountered was a total loss of water in our room but the staff was very quick in determining the problem and finding a solution! I cannot wait to return with my husband again soon! We more than enjoyed ourselves and wished we didn't have to leave! Thank you so much for such an awesome Honeymoon experience!"

"The resort has a lot of potential- the beach and setting is gorgeous and trade winds from the ocean make for perfect weather conditions. It is approx 20 mins from Christiansted so it is necessary to have a car. When we first arrived, our room had no AC and no sheets on the sofa bed for our kids. We ended up switching rooms and took the sheets from the first room with us. Bars opened at 11 each morning and closed at 10 each night. Very quiet resort-very little nightlife. We did have a great time with some of the employees of the resort. The property is rundown and needs some sprucing up-pool tiles are missing, jacuzzi is across the street and is one you would find in someone's back yard, sliding doors in the room don't work well, etc. Activities at the resort would help lively the atmosphere up a little bit. As the week progressed, the staff was much more friendly than our initial experience. The oil refinery on the island is closing so not sure of the future of this island- like I said at first lots of potential which remains very untapped. They could use an activities director and remodeling. Overall still a great trip but much different than we have experienced on other islands in the Caribbean."
