"I was here from 4/14 through 4/22/12. It was a quiet and peaceful experience as there were not a lot of other tennants at the hotel. The food was fair at the restaurant. We chose to go next door where the food was much better. Marsha and the other staff were just great. The beach here, though beautiful, was not kept clean. There was sea grass all over the beach. A few young men would come clean up for about two hours and then leave. On Saturday, they had about 4 young men, then a manager with a megahorn which I think he just purchased as his new toy was yelling at them through it and told them they were threw for the day at 11:00 a.m.. Peace and tranquility went right out the window. Though the area was lovely except for sea grass all over the beach, the resort really needs to be updated and is run down. But as I say...who stay's in your room when you want to be either at the beach or the pool all day. We still got a great tan and had a relaxing vacation!!!"

"This was a business trip to St. Croix. I wanted something close to the main town on the island but since my wife was with me, I also wanted something on the beach. I'm on a per diem account, so I need to be budget minded, yet also want something nice and decent. Parking downtown is so limited that you really can`t park next to the hotels so that was important also, but I could park at Hibiscus without a problem. I was pleased with our experience there. My wife went into town several days to shop (10 minutes away) and other days was able to spend time on the beach, relaxing. We ate at the restaurant, but we also ate out at different places on the island. The restaurant has a lively bar with lots of frequent customers. I guess it is like anywhere else, you find a place you like and feel comfortable, and so you stick with it, because many of the patrons were repeat guests and customers. Even if you are only going to be there a few days, you should rent a car to get around, unless your company is providing your transportation. Driving on the left isn't so bad except at night, when you're not used to the roads. I would consider this property again for future business travel to St. Croix and also would recommend it to friends and family who were looking for a place in the tropics. St. Croix is a great island if you are looking for something really, really laid back. "

From Airport
Exit the guard shack at the airport, go left onto 64, heading East, on red light at the 4 lane Melvin H Evans Highway, also called 66, cross over and go to the next intersection, Centerline Road, which is 70, also known as Queen Mary Highway; it runs East and West along the center of the island. Turn right onto 70, heading East, go through one red light intersection, then just before the next red light intersection, the road to turn left will curve to the left just before the intersection, onto 75, which is also called Northside Road. Head North through a rural area and shortly after the curves stop and the road begins to straighten out there is a basketball court on the left. Immediately after this, turn left, this road has no name, Turn left at the at the yellow building on the left that has a green wrap-around top (A-Plus Signs) and follow this road North all the way to the end, which will be heading to the beach. You'll see the Resort sign there at the end of this road.
