R Jackson from Raleigh, NC had this to say:
"I have booked many people into this hotel. Used it on a solo trip, March 2009. I feel perfectly safe staying here as a woman traveling alone. Food is excellent. If you are nice and friendly, instead of demanding, the folks at the desk and the entire resort treat you especially well. Rms are clean and well-appointed. I have never had a problem using the safe. You can screw it up, if you aren't paying attn, and don't make your code easy. There are individual coffee (singles) for your use, free and also good, as well as tea bags, plus refrig. Mexican restaurant across the bay is delicious. This beach is the best beach on the island. 50' or more visability. Calm and easy to get in and out. Note: This beach is a locals beach on the far end. If you wouldn't leave your wallet or cash on a beach chair anywhere else, don't do so here; just keep your eye on your stuff. In my opinion, this is the safest beach on the island, both as a tourist, and for folks with kids. For ex, Coki Beach is NOT such a good place anymore. Do not leave any personal possessions on Coki. Emerald Beach will often have a rate for AAA members. It also takes your World Points rewards from Citibank, and you get free drink coupons, too. I have stayed at many resorts on the island, many times. This one has one main drawback, the planes taking off frequently and loudly during the day. If you do not want that noise and do not mind a short drive to the beach, stay at Villa Blanca, the best buy on the island, much less expensive and nicer/quieter than anywhere else, with a pool., and free continental breakfast."

Annie from Broomfield, Colorado had this to say:
"We stayed her for my daughters wedding in 2005. The hotel was fine, a problem getting rooms at first, some of us had to stay away from the rest of the party due to faulty air conditioning and the next room given was already in use...My biggest issue was the hotel manager. One of our party had $100 taken from her safe in her room. The manager was not going to do anything until calling the police was threatened and he forked over some money. Less than professional. I had complained to Best Western numerous times and they just blew me off. The hotel is nice tho, the bartender and regular staff really friendly. "

Karen from Omaha, NE had this to say:
"Sits on Lindbergh Bay - which provides the most beautiful sunsets -- hotel is a great value for the money. Staff is friendly and courteous. Beach is very clean and not crowded, pool bar is the perfect touch and the bartender is most friendly. Great place to visit."
