We stayed here for one night in the first week of a cross-country road trip, and if we're ever back in the area, we will not stay here again. The hotel appears to be older, and the common areas feel dark and in need of updating. More concerning was the fact that the doors at entrances A and B we're being propped open with pieces of wood (were propped open when we checked in and when we returned from dinner around 10 pm), which would have been an absolute deal breaker for me if I were traveling ... This place has been around for a while. Upon entering, it is nice since it's also the convention center. Check-in was easy and person was nice and friendly. Once I got to the room you could tell it was a bit old and they had tried renovating it. The room was a good size but the AC unit was loud and clunky. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft and squishy. The bathroom had times where it smelled like a sewer line was uncovered (if you've ever replaced a toilet you'll know... Read more

I travel to Sheridan for work every month or so. This was my first stay here and it is light years ahead of the other options. Amenities wins here as they have both an onsite restaurant and separate lounge. This lead to better breakfast fare then the usual mini buffet most hotels provide. They serve a full breakfast menu but also have a solid buffet option that includes coffee and oj. Room was spacious and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that parts of the property seem dated, but s... Read more

Thankfully, thete wasn't a convention in town, like every other city in our trip. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was clean and well maintained. The restaurant was very good. We usually don't do room service, but we were so road tired, we didn't care about the exorbitant room service prices and fees. Definitely would stay again.

A nice place to stay. Easy to get to off I 90. Restaurants nearby and the town is close. There is also a small but nice museum. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and large. There is a restaurant in the hotel. It was an enjoyable stay.

The staff were great and very accommodating. We were traveling with 2 boys. They had fun playing miniature golf (it only has 4 holes but was fun,) swimming in the pool and played the claw machines in the "arcade." The room was nice and clean. There were a variety of channels to choose from. There wasn't a free breakfast which was a disappointment. Overall a great night to relax after a long day of traveling. I would stay here again.

This property has five levels into elevators. One of the most frustrating things during this visit is one of the elevators was out of commission. It was frustrating to have to wait to get it right up to the fourth and fifth floors. However, the room was clean and the staff was very nice. This is an older property that has been well maintained. I would definitely stay here again without reservation. Another nice thing to have would have been a free breakfast. They had a nice breakfast buffet for ... Read more

Room Cleanliness was outstanding, just flew in from Barcelona where I had spent a night and no heat in the room. If I had to stay in Charlotte overnight I would highly recommend this hotel. Had no problems getting back and forth to the airport.

Hotel staff is very accommodating. The building lacks curb appeal and seems like an older building however it's very well kept, not dated inside, and the rooms were s good value. I was disappointed by the language being used by the elevator repair workers but that's out of the hotels control. I recommend this hotel without reservation.

We stopped here for the night on our way back from a family vacation. The outside doesn't look like much but the lobby area was very nice and clean. The front desk person who helped us was very friendly and helped with pizza suggestions. The rooms were fine. Keep in mind that if you are on the first floor, there are sliding glass doors that look into the large open lobby area. I don't know why anyone would want to have the curtains open since anyone walking by can see right into your room. You c... Read more

Great place at the end of town for a nights sleep. The main street is only 500 yards on each side. We had a room on the ground floor so no lifts or stairs for a change. We had a quiet night despite being near the main street. Nice lounge, decent bedrooms with plenty of hot water and towels. Breakfast next door but one.

Due to some unfortunate circumstances the hotel lost some of its power during the stay there and was unable to accommodate us at the restaurants. There was another minor issue in the room which management addressed at our check out and we felt that they were more than fair as to how they handled the overall situation. The rooms were comfortable and the facility shows very nicely.

Nice hotel wth friendly staff. Room was very clean as were the common areas. A little pricey but probably average for all like hotels in the area. I've stated here before and it's consistently good. Several Restaurants fairly close. I would stay here again.

Lots of family together time meant we all needed a break from each other. This Hotel had plenty of space for us to spread out and each do our own "thing." The pool was a little small, but good enough. Fast food restaurants nearby allowed teenaged kiddos to go off on their own for cravings. Would've liked in-room microwave and mini-fridge, but beds were comfy and air conditioning kept up with the July heat!

Be sure to ask for a room with one of the quiet air conditioners. We learned upon checkout that there were some rooms with the very noisy a/c units (ours) and others recently renovated. The desk clerk said she'd speak to her manager later that day (June 19), who would make an adjustment to our bill, but the discount never appeared on my credit card statement.

We were here for a wedding and stayed two nights. The rooms were your typical two bed hotel room. These rooms do need to be updated and fridges and microwaves need to be added to each room. I know you can request a fridge in your room and we did and they did bring one up, but every room should have those. The pool was fun but smaller and the game room needs a new foosball table. The little golf green is a great idea. All in all it was a good room for the value.

We originally were supposed to get a king suite but they had to put us in a double queen and offered a free roll away, which was perfect. Just off the interstate and around the corner. Clean rooms. During the rodeo, so full when we were there when you add in a couple conferences going on. Drink and food menu were full of options for everyone. When we were there the crowd came through in spurts and there wasn't enough staff on hand when there was a lot of people around, but they hustled and did the best they could to keep up. Walmart is across the street if you forget something.

This was my second stay at this hotel. We stayed here on our way home. We were on the motorcycle and they offered us to park under the front canopy. The pool was a really nice relief from a hot day of riding. Room was very quiet. My wife slept 11 hours. In the morning we had the choice of buffet or order from their restaurant menu. We had just had continental breakfast for 8 days so ordering from the menu was fantastic. We had the western skillet. It was more than either of us could eat.

This was a typical Holiday Inn. The room was small but offered the basic amenities. The breakfast buffet was good. The lobby area was quite spacious. Unfortunately, our room didn't overlook the lobby/indoor pool/waterfall areas. We had a first floor corner room with a small window opening to the parking lot. Clean and basic, but could use a makeover!

Older hotel. Has a bar and a restaurant. Large common area. Small to medium pool/hot tub. Located very close to a Walmart and a liquor store. 1.5 mi. to downtown. Small room/bath, but clean, comfortable beds with updated linens. Room pictures were of Holiday Inn Signs......? Full Direct TV in rooms. $140 plus 6% sales and modest 4% city hotel tax. We visited within a week of Sturgis, so that may have bumped up price. Would have been a value at $119 or so.

The hotel is near the I90 exit, but Sheridan is a small town so you're relatively close to downtown and tourist attractions. The main lobby is one of those big atriums that were popular in the 80-90s. Breakfast did not come with the room, but they had a decent buffet for $9.50 or a menu to order off of. They only have queen or double beds-no Kings, and although the room was small, it was clean and had the same accoutrements as a brand new Holiday Inn we stayed in the night before. The price (... This place does the basics for eating and sleeping, but it is looking worn and tired, so in real need of refurbishing to bring it up to a modern standard. It has a potentially great water feature in a very large entrance hall, but the effect is completely destroyed by the blue swimming pool that it drops into and obvious chlorine in the air. This was a dated motel with an atrium as a feature. It was cold in the atrium so sitting there was not comfortable. The breakfast area was in this area and was also cold. The dinner we had in the evening was the worst on our trip. I returned the prime rib and was made no offer of discount or reimbursement. Our room was next to the mechanical room for the atrium waterfall and made noise all night so we got little sleep. We were thankful that we were only staying one night.
