Lake DeSmet is about 10 miles away. Downtown Buffalo features historical buildings, specialty shops, and galleries. Also close to the hotel are parks, a large free summertime outdoor pool, a full-service YMCA, a highly-rated municipal golf course, and a walking trail along Clear Creek. A variety of restaurants are also in the surrounding area.
