Having stayed in more than a few Microtels, I immediately recognized the room and common area layout to be Microtel's. They've improved on it somewhat. Good bed, clean room, so-so breakfast with good breakfast burritos. Shower head could be improved. Great front desk service.

We booked this hotel because all of the other hotels there looked either run down or they wanted a ridiculous amount for a standard hotel. I am so glad that we did because it was one of the best hotels we have found for that price. Everyone from Susy that checked us in and recommended to "Bucks" for dinner to the breakfast lady that brought juice to my table for me when my hands were full were so friendly and professional. The only thing that could make this hotel better would be a swimming ... Read more

The evening staff were unhappy to be checking us in late, the room was clean but noisy from the interstate traffic. Nothing is nearby. The best part was the included breakfast. The staff in the morning was great!

This is not a high-end motel. It is a perfect place to stay for 1-3 nights to have a place to relax and sleep. It is clean and fairly updated. Refrigerator, microwave, coffeepot. The carpet was clean enough to walk barefoot on--I can't say that for every place. The heating-a/c system worked fine. Small tv, and not enough blankets cost a star. The staff was friendly and competent. The breakfast was fine--standard hot motel breakfast. Pet friendly with real grass outside. There was even a ... Read more

Traveling as a business can be tough when your end of day lodging is uncertain. I made a last minute reservation with Tripadvisor and when I arrived found a clean, easy access modern facility. While there was some confusion about the booking and billing, those issues were quickly resolved and I am left a happy camper. I'll be staying again when I am in the area and I will definately use Tripadvisor to make my arrangements. One caveat, my room was backed up to the interstate and traffic noise wa... Read more

We were on a road trip and Rawlins was a great place to stay for the night. The room was clean and breakfast was good. The only thing that sucked was that the doors to the rooms don't shut quietly they SLAM. So, in the morning we were trying to sleep in and between the other guests and cleaning service it was a bit loud.

This hotel was a sight for sore eyes. After 800 miles on the road, and having a very unpleasant experience with another hotel the night before, we were extremely happy with the accommodations. We walked in around 10pm without a reservation and they happily helped us get a room. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean inside and out. The rooms were nice. They weren't exactly spacious, but there definitely was room to move around without feeling like you were re-enacting the trash c... Read more

We had two rooms. This a fairly new hotel and everything was working good except the outlet for the laptop would not charge my phone--could have been operator error. Room is small but nice, with large mirror the whole length of wall above the headboards. Breakfast was very good for this type hotel and include hot eggs, bacon, hash browns, and gravy for the biscuits--which I always like! Would definitely stay again.

This former Microtel has been transformed into a most excellent facility. It is not as easy to get to as other places in Rawlins, but it is worth the minor effort. Desk staff was welcoming and efficient. Room impeccable and comfortable. Front desk recommendation of the Aspen Restaurant for my evening meal was an excellent one. It wasn't cheap, but not outrageous. Don't miss it. Every motel on the road should be like this one.

We found this great surprise in Rawlins, WI in our road trip to Yellowstone!! like oasis where you can rest!! Is modern, clean, quiet, the staff is friendly, highly recommended! Breakfast included. Have a little fridge in the room and elevator. Very glad with their service!

A former Microtel, the Pronghorn is located all by itself just off the Interstate. We chose a single queen room on side away from the interstate to minimize noise (no double queen on this side). There is no restaurant or gas station at this exit so you have to go in to town for supper and gas.

Stopped here on our way to Jackson, Wyoming. Great, convenient location of of I-80. Clean and modern rooms and very comfortable linens and mattress. The breakfast in the morning was a great plus. Would recommend this hotel as it was a great stop for us!

Normal hotels include soap, towels, and shampoo, right? Not Pronghorn Inn! After a long drive through central Wyoming, we found the Pronghorn Inn a stone's throw from the freeway. Literally. The freeway exit ramp is a few feet from the hotel fence and the freeway itself is maybe another 50 feet beyond. Can you guess that our freeway-side second floor room was noisy at 5AM? If you stay here, get a north-side (non-freeway) room or wear earplugs. But freeway noise wasn't the weird thing abou... Read more

The beds were great, the staff were friendly and efficient, and breakfast was sufficient to get us back on the road quickly. The hotel is a little inconvenient to the freeway, and some of the GPS maps have roads marked that are little more than just gravel. But the hotel was great.

I travel between the Mid-west and the west coast more than your average bear, and Rawlins has long been stop #2. This summer I found the Pronghorn Inn and Suites, and it is the perfect spot for me and my two travelling companions, who happen to be Australian Shepherds. There is lots of open space around the hotel to walk the dogs, it is very close to I 80, and a short drive to downtown Rawlins, which has a surprising number of very good restaurants and a great coffee shop. (Huckleberries). I ... Read more

From Hwy 80 this hotel looks great, but it is ever better on the inside!. We reserved our room on-line with a limited idea of what to expect. We are sooo pleased with our room. It turned out we have a suite: small kitchen, a Queen size bed plus a pullout sofa. The bathroom has everything you need. Lots of room! Best of all the price was less than any other hotel in this area could give us for a standard room. In addition to the great room, Jennifer, the desk clerk was very friendly. She was ve... Read more

This place is great for a quick overnight stop on I-80. Traveling as a mom with 3 small kids and a dog is tough, but this hotel worked out great. I requested a room close to a door and was able to get one right on the end of the first floor, right near a grassy patch for the dog. The room was modern and clean. Breakfast was typical for a hotel. As to road noise, I didn't notice it much, even in a room facing the freeway. I did hear other guests and other sounds, but not the traffic. I'd say... Read more

The hotel appears to be a former microtel inn and so the room was very small and compact but clean and well-lighted. I thought almost $100 was expensive for this room but it was the last non-smoking room available at 5pm. Even though I have allergies to pets, I did not think to ask if this room had been used for pets even though I knew they did accept pets for an extra fee. I had an uncomfortable night with a tight chest, sinus headache and woke up with a red blotchy face. I will probably n... Read more

This place was very clean and the people are very friendly. The rooms are smaller but not too small, beds were very comfortable! The pillows are so so, would probably recommend bringing your own. The breakfast was very good it consisted of all the normal continental breakfast things plus cheese omelettes, biscuits and gravy he, bacon, waffles & pancakes. Would definitely recommend staying here!

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean, looked like it was recently remodeled with a modern appearance. Convenient to the highway and breakfast and coffee were decent, very helpful staff. Excellent value for stay.

I booked this hotel because of the reviews on tripadvisor. I was really not expecting much. All i needed was a clean place to sleep as it was just a stooping point on my way to Denver. All was good as we checked in and got to our room. The room seemed clean and thought it would do fine. Until my son went to the bathroom and noticed a roach on the wall, with we quickly dispatched. I was really hoping it was just a fluke and there would be no others, until i looked behind the door and saw a... Read more
