The hotel was clean throughout, rooms were spacious, beds were very comfortable. But the most pleasant part of my stay there, was the staff. During my stay there, I found myself in a less than ideal situation and I needed some help. The whole staff stepped in to help me and when I say they went out of their way to take care of me, I mean it. They care about their guests! If you're ever in need of a place to stay in Rawlins, make this your number one choice. I know I will.

I was greatly impressed with the level of customer service and the helpful and friendly staff, particularly Monica, who when out of her way to make fresh coffee, cook a few extra cookies and direct us to a great restaurant. Clean and nice rooms, hot breakfast and friendly staff. We will stay at more Choice Hotels!

The room was nice and clean, and no funny smells. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom floor needed a bit more attention but overall enjoyed the stay. They even allowed pets. We would stay there again.

I made the reservation weeks ago, but when the day came, I wanted to tell them we'd be late and would need a wheelchair. Monica was on the desk and remembered we had changed and immediately got the chair. Super friendly staff. The only thing, the breakfast was a little wanting.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable mattress. Very pleased with our stay here. Our room was on the first floor and very convenient since we were traveling with our pet. They requested a $20.00 deposit but returned it to us after checking the room the next day. Also we appreciated that they had laundry facilities for guests. This was a very nice hotel - quiet too.

Passing through. Spent one night. Everything was just right. They even provided disposable a razor to replace a forgotten one. When the clerk learned we would on the road for a few days, she insisted we take an extra razor. This small token of caring customer service makes a big difference. The complimentary hot breakfast was above average and worthy of mention, but was the friendly helpful staff that sets this place above others.

Front desk help was very accommodating and helpful. My husband has trouble walking and needs to be on a ground floor near an exit in case of emergency. They were very helpful. Told us of a good place to eat nearby and made the checkin quite fast. Once in the room we found the thickest nicest towels on our long trip. Something no other Comfort Inn offered was makeup removers. This is quite handy for most women. Good breakfast and quickly on our way. Would highly recommend this Comfort Inn... Read more

We checked in 6/5 without a reservation. We were greeted by too happy employees. They had two king suites left. Boy we hit a win. Spacious 2 rooms, 2 tv. With all the amenities. There was peace and quiet. Warm cookies hot coffee, and at breakfast I had pancakes with blueberry topping. We will stay at comfort inn again. Great experience. Oh I forgot to say how clean the room was, Very!

Front desk was great. After we got checked in we got word that our daughter needed a place to stay but didn't have a reservation. Front desk people were so kind and got a room for her and her family. So appreciated. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Had a great stay.

Lost reservation! What can you say in busy tourist season and hotel cannot find your reservation! Stayed in meeting room with fold down bed, no TV etc. It was early in the evening and manager could have given room and saved the option for emergency.

We were met by a very friendly Carlos and Sherry. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great room and anything we might need. The location is great and close to many businesses. The place could use a little repair here and there. The air conditioner clicks all night which is a downside. The breakfast is the standard free breakfast offering. It was hot and very good.

I have been a loyal user of Trip Advisor for many, many years. This year I made the mistake of booking a room for June 18 t( and one for Cedar City, Utah for June 30th)through Trip Advisor as I TRUSTED the company. Choice hotels came up and I made the booking. DO NOT DO THIS. Due to a change of plans , I needed to cancel both hotels. I called Rawlins Comfort Inn and was told that they could not cancel my booking and that I must contact Choice. There is not way to cancel the Choice booking as t... Read more

Nestled between a Fairfield Inn and another property, the Comfort Inn could be missed. But don't do it!! This is a lovely place to overnight. Why? The manager, Sherry Kunz, is a peach! Genuinely friendly and wonderfully enthusiastic, Sherry welcomed me as a friend would welcome someone to their home. The lobby is wonderfully decorated and welcoming with overstuffed couches and areas to relax. Of course, the rooms are well decorated and spotlessly clean. I expect that. When I called to ask about a room I specifically asked if the pool was up and going and they said YES. When we got here the pool had just been filled and was FREEZING cold. The hot tub was not working. Before we even went into our room we asked for our money back to find a different hotel and was told we booked today and couldn't get our money back.

Of the three hotels we stayed in on our 8-day trip, our 20 yr. old daughter remarked that she liked Comfort Inn & Suites the best. We got in late and had to leave early, so we regret that we couldn't enjoy more things this hotel had to offer. The room and bathroom were generous in size and the amenities were wonderful as well. Everything was clean and quiet. The breakfast was superb!

We had this hotel confirmed since May but when we arrived they didn't have our reservation. Even though I had all the necessary papers to prove our reservation they refused to honor the price we had booked with Booking.com. They tried to blame booking.com for the mistake when after 7 years of use, all over the world, we have never had this problem. We cancelled our booking and while sitting in the parking lot, booked online at the Fairfield Inn next door. They already had our reservation not 2 m... Read more

We rolled into Rawlins, WY on July 4. We did not know what to expect in terms of the accommodations. What we encountered was an extremely helpful front desk clerk named Caleb. He was courteous, knowledgeable and helped us find the best place in town to watch fireworks. He also gave recommendations about restaurants. The Manager, Sherry Kunz also gave us helpful advice for the evening as well. The beds were extremely comfortable (Goldilocks just right!). The biggest surprise was breakfast. It wa... Read more

This motel was our second stopping point on our 4 day trip west. The refinery smell outside didn't carry over inside, thankfully. The desk clerk was nice enough to change our room so we had a window to see our vehicle. Our room was nice - average size with comfortable beds. Breakfast was real good, with more choices than most, including a really good omelet. Nice seating area. The two things I had an issue with was the pool area and the ceilings/walls. The pool had a particular smell to... Read more

As soon as we walked in we were warmly greeted by Caleb! Fresh cookies were on hand. Our room was beautiful and immaculate with all the amenities. The bathroom even had a soap dish (one of my pet peeves, because without one you lay the soap on the vanity and it sticks there, hard to get off and makes a mess)! The hotel corridors were also extremely clean. It was very quiet also! The breakfast area was beautiful too with many tables as well as couches and a walled bookcase full of the hotel ... Read more

Staying 2 nights before this in Billings, Montana, we were looking for a good in between stop between Billings and Durango, Colorado. Traveling with 2 kids made a few 2-night stays necessary along our route. I decided on Rawlins. Upon exiting our vehicle when we arrived, I was hit with an intense smell of burning tar or something, it was overwhelming for myself, while my wife and kids handled it well. Apparently, there is an oil refinery located in the city. Our check-in was quick. The place wa... Read more

Wonderful hotel, allows dogs which is a big plus when we're traveling with my little terrier, offers breakfast at 6:00 so that you can get on the rode pretty early (compared to other places with breakfast at 10:00), overall a total package. We stayed here on our way to Yellowstone and honestly, it was a great stay. Also offers a nice little indoor pool with a hot tub. Pool is a bit on the colder side, but the moisture level within the room makes it a by more humid and helps keep you warm. I wou... Read more

We stayed here one night enroute to Yellow stone. Of the 6 places we stayed, this one is a top ranker. a "best value". Only down side, the pool was wayyyy to cold. My 6 yr old went in and back out though my 9 yr old "blue lip'ed" swam. Hot tub was not all that hot. With that said, the rooms were bigger than most. great prices, quite quiet. Breakfast was tasty and well presented. It would have gotten a rare "excellent" from me if not for the cold pool.

After traveling 775 miles the first day, we needed a friendly face, a clean place, and a comfy bed. This place did not disappoint. The room rate was discounted due to Internet booking. Included a nice breakfast in the morning and a cheery "Thanks fir staying" as we departed. Well worth it!

I stayed here while driving through Wyoming with my family. The hotel itself was nice and clean, as were the rooms. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was okay, they didn't have a ton of options and the coffee was mediocre at best. My biggest complaint was the fact that when I got into bed, it appeared like there were blood stains on the fitted sheet. It clearly wasn't fresh, and it was somewhat light so it appeared that it has been there a while. It didn't bother me to the point where I ... Read more

I trust the Comfort Inn brand for a clean, economical, just-the-basics hotel, especially for mid-point stops on a trip. But wow. My room was bigger than expected. Nice lobby and breakfast. Turned-down bedding that looks and feels great. Receipt delivered to my door. Although my stop was quick, I'd be very comfortable here for a longer stay.

We were happily surprised at how nice the Comfort Inn & Suites in Rawlins, Wyoming was. The staff was so kind and friendly. We were especially pleased with the lady who ran the breakfast area. She was incredibly helpful and nice. We really enjoyed talking to her. The hotel was very clean. The cookies we were offered at check-in were delicious. Our only complaint was that the spa jets weren't working which was a disappointment.

Clean, comfortable, friendly and reasonably priced. Perfect for a comfortable, no frills stop on I-80. Free breakfast is simple but adequate while traveling. Like most places along a major highway in the West it's also close to a railroad track. It never bothered me but trains do come by from time to time. Highly recommend for a travel stop.

The Comfort Inn & Suites is a nice hotel, nothing very fancy but wasn't expecting much. Good value for a bed and a quick breakfast. Stayed here last year and it was a very quiet stay but there was a turnaround going on at the refinery in Sinclair. This year it was very noisy but saw a lot of families. I have kids but do you really need to let your kids jump up and down, run around the room and scream at 10 o'clock at night?
