Very pleased with this hotel. The ambiance was very nice - reminded me of a lodge (dark paneling, wood furniture, etc). Our room was clean (spotless) and spacious. Granted, our view was not great (we faced a wall, but that was offset by the rest of the overwhelmingly positive experiences). The hotel is very centrally located, right in the middle of downtown Jackson Hole. Take note of parking - you can't leave your car on the street because of parking restrictions but the hotel has a gat... Read more

I just returned home from a visit to Jackson and stayed at The Wort. The service at this hotel is exceptional and I want to give a big "shout out" to our concierge Taryn. She assisted with dinner reservations, recommendations and wildlife safari reservations. We changed our plans at the last minute and added an extra day to our stay and she was able to re-schedule our wildlife safari at the last minute due to it being cancelled the day before because of bad weather. She is a shining example ... Read more

Stayed for 2 nights on a small group organized tour. The service was great and friendly, rooms were spacious and comfortable, with nice amenities. The lobby was comfortable, and they have a great restaurant and bar. I would highly recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed at the Wort in late October. The rooms were exceptionally spacious and it is clear that the furniture was relatively new. The vanity area outside of the bathroom was also rather large. The bathroom itself, however, was tiny. The staff was helpful and pleasant. I read the reviews about the noise from the bar. Admittedly, we did hear noise from the bar; however, it was not the awful noise that some travelers had described. Quite frankly, I turned the TV on sleep and ... Read more

Classically Charming. It's on the national register of historical places for a reason. This 18-room boutique hotel is a must stay. The rooms are spacious. The service is wonderful. Centrally located to everything in downtown Jackson. The adjoining bar has wonderful atmosphere and live entertainment and dancing. The rooms above the bar might be disrupted by the bands below. (Ask when checking in) It didn't bother us because we were in the throes of passion and ecstasy.

Driving north through the Teton Ranges we spent some time at one of Wyoming's most delightful towns. It's Jackson Hole - a gorgeous little place which is beautifully appointed and well laid out. The Wort Hotel is a magnificent stopover and its staff are welcoming and helpful. A night at Pizza Caldera was truly rewarding - we fell in love with the locals and were a bit reluctant to push on, even though we were going up through the Shoshone National Forest to visit Yellowstone.

Outstanding service in hotel and restaurants. Had exceptional bison filet in restaurant. Great wait staff. Room was unbelievably spacious, one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in. Always recommend the Wort for business or pleasure!

The hotel is great. The staff was awesome (loved the call before our arrival offering any assistance). Our room was very large and the beds were super comfortable. The kids loved the stuffed bear to love on during the stay! Luxury and History plus comfort really great combination. The location is fantastic - right outside town center, fun shopping and down the street from the most amazing bakery.

The staff at the Wort Hotel made us feel very much at home! They were knowledgeable, professional, and very warm. Our room was great - very comfortable beds and specialty linens and down pillows and comforters. The desk staff, the hostess and dining staff, and the housekeepers were all terrific. We enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving buffet meal in addition to dinner in the dining room one evening and dinner in the bar area another evening. The food and service are truly wonderful. The location is ... Read more

The Cowgirl Suite! Yep! That was our accommodation and boy were we surprised. It was terrific! The space was large, comfortable, quiet and filled with a variety of tasteful western memorabilia. So much better than expected, we felt indulged and pampered and oh so relaxed. The staff was terrific, location ideal and easy for exploring the town on foot, and parking was an easy dream. All the history enhanced the experience along with the thickest towels of our entire trip. The famous silver... Read more
