Kevin, the man at the desk in the afternoon, sets the bar for hotel customer service. After stopping and intending to stay at a different Jackson Hole hotel where the lady at the desk acted like she was being inconvenienced by my request to stay in her hotel, I went to Super 8. Kevin greeted me like he had been looking forward to my staying in his hotel and was happy that I had chosen Super 8 rather than one of the other. He also offered tips on good places to eat and a shortcut to Dominoes. ... Read more

Room and bathroom was clean and cozy. Good place to stay for an overnight good night. This is an old motel built many years ago; stick built. Floors squeak, magnetic key lock was a bit touchy to activate. Staff was friendly and they served free popcorn and cookies in the evening. Morning breakfast was continental style. Quaint place. Western motif in lobby.

Jackson is expensive and it is hard to find accommodations at a reasonable rate. I have stayed here before when working. Kevin was very helpful at keeping the cost within my budget even though I was a last minute drop in. Although I was working, I was also relocating from my winter home to my summer home and the staff happily took my plants into the office to keep them from freezing. When I was there they were in the process of putting in new carpeting. It was a little disruptive but will ... Read more

I always book rooms based on the reviews of previous guests. The manager's comment to one that all the beds had recently been replaced was the sole reason I booked this hotel. I can do without the extras as long as the bed sleeps well. When we walked into the room it reeked of smelly feet...fortunately I always have room freshener. Then the heat did not work...it was after 12am so we just went to bed without any. The bed was very worn and the springs squeaked with every movement. It was extremel... Read more

There are alot of taxidermy specimens around this motel, so if you mind, beware!!! Otherwise, this motel was very good. It was convenient to most restaurants in Jackson. The rooms were clean and large. All of the employees were pleasant. They offer a complimentary continental breakfast. I would not hesitate to stay here again when returning to Jackson.

I've got to say the people running this hotel are very kind, professional and helpful. The hotel itself could certainly use some updating, from the bedding, to the building itself. The furniture in the room seems cheap and a little like 1990. There are three floors and no elevator, so be prepared to walk up and down the stairs. (They will carry your luggage up for you if you ask, so that's nice). The floorboards on upper floors creak when you walk. We were on the 3rd floor and were pleased ... Read more

It was dated, but very clean. The desk was pleasant and helpful guiding us to a good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Continental breakfast was served, but the area was not very large. Quite possibly the worst hotel in which I've stayed in years. Floors are old and creaky, towels we're thin and dingy, breakfast was just toasted items and cereal, and the bed was rock hard. The only thing good about my stay is that at least I didn't have to pay for it.

Where do I start? Everything about this property is sad, except for the manager that checked us in. He was very cheery and gave us great recommendations for dinner and a whitewater trip in the area. After check-in, it went down hill. Here are the reasons why: There is no elevator and we were on the third floor. This stay was at the end of an 8 day vacation, so we had large suitcases to haul upstairs. The room decor was very outdated and depressing. There were not enough outlets to charge... Read more

Many of the nicer hotels were booked in Jackson hole and the lady at the local FBO suggested Super 8 as there were vacancies. We usually stay at 4-5 star hotels so this was an adjustment. Very basic, loud and crowded. There was complimentary breakfast but better if you seek food elsewhere. Room was dark but clean, we were on business and passing through for the night so we tolerated it.

The best thing about this hotel was the two desk clerks who were very friendly and pleasant. We were traveling through and needed to get off the road for the night so were thankful to find a room. We were a bit shocked by the rate for the room, but figured that must be what it costs in Jackson Hole. This property is old and run down and rate was ridiculous for the level of accommodations. Blood stains on the shower curtains and small tufts of hair jammed in the bathtub crack. What happened here? I should have realized something awful was being hidden when I called several times throughout the day to notify them of a late arrival and they never answered the phone.
