My first visit to Jackson was to attend an Alternative Medicine Conference which was hosted at the Snow King. Each afternoon, we had time off to go to the two national parks (Yellowstone; Tetons). I look forward to returning and I enjoyed the Snow King enough that I'll insist to stay there. The rooms are comfortable with space to relax. The conference food was quite good. All the staff were thoughtful and helpful about planning afternoons and evenings. Another advantage is a few rental vehicles ... Read more

Great hotel! The staff was very accommodating, the facility is very clean and the staff was great. The king bed was outstanding!!! Looks like a great place for family fun with the alpine slide and ski areas. We were there in mid-May right before the slide opened. There;s a free shuttle to the downtown area for lots of great shops and restaurants. We would return to this resort.

Brian Chattin and Rob Benedict made sure we had what we needed. They gave us valuable tips and information on where to go and what to do. The Bar T 5 Chuckwagon was an awesome fun time a must go to!!! Downtown Jackson Square was so much fun everything was right there all within walking distance. We rented a car and went to the Grand Teton National Park and to Yellowstone, we saw Old Faithful we had such and amazing time. Can't wait to go back!! I was at Snow King this week for a conference, and had never had the opportunity to visit Jackson Hole before. I will be back, and I will stay here again (with my family next time). I stayed in one of the condos and I have never stayed in such a nice space. Clean, smartly decorated, and stocked with essentials like laundry soap and silverware. The most praise really goes to the resort staff, in particular those working at your restaurant (they didn't have cards or I would mention them by name), ... Read more

An ok hotel that is clean and friendly staff, but additional hidden room/reservation fees at check out, scalding hot water from the shower and the fact that it is still a short car drive away from the main square makes this hotel and location not ideal with so many other hotels in the area for similar or better pricing.

We are having our wedding at Grand View Lodge in July and just came back from a planning trip during which we stayed at Snow King. We were greeted in our room with a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a lovely note from our contact at Snow King (Laura - she is wonderful!). The Snow King Resort is an ideal location for your Jackson stay. Near downtown and at the foot of the ski resort. We stayed in their condos which were perfectly designed for our family of four. Two great bathrooms, one master suite, and the most comfortable Murphy Bed ever in the family room that easily accommodated two adults. We have found our perfect stay in Jackson.

From the moment we arrived, Trinda, at Reception, welcomed us as if we were her favorite hotel guests ever. That's a darn nice way to be treated. From the efficient check-in to the lovely rustic-ly decorated room, to the outdoor pool area, to Hayden's Post, the restaurant and bar, it's all darn good! The new GM of the Resort, Geoff, was on the premises, talking with the guests in between management tasks of this large complex. I love this place, and will return later this summer. It's walkin... It's a beautiful property and overall things were OK, but there were some things that could have been improved upon. 1. shower hot water wasn't very hot - told front desk, but nothing was done about it 2. we asked for late checkout to 1:30 to coincide with flight, but only got until 12:30. 3. front desk couldn't explain why I got a split bill from the restaurant, other than they were doing training. 4. restaurant had very slow service for both breakfasts we ate there.

Location was about 1/2 Mile from Downtown, downhill to town. Room was OK bed was little saggy pillows had seen better days. General room condition was worn down needs paint and updates. The bathroom walls and floor boards were filthy shower was old water was either to hot or to cold. Restaurant had great food but service was so bad that we had to ask for menu's bread water and check both nights. Deserts were lacking and and only 3 of 6 offerrings were ever available.

I just feel that the hotel is a little dated and infrastructure has not been kept up, for example there were not enough working outlets in order to charge electronics. The blow dryer did not turn on/off - you could only plug it in/unplug. The location is nice. Plenty of parking. The view is great.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was very friendly and helpful. BUT, what I was not a fan of was having to pay for parking when I was already paying $230 to stay there. I also wish there was an option to not use the extras in the hotel like the gym/spa/pool/ect. because it was another $30 and I never even utilized any of them. I was just glad we had a hotel to stay at though bc everything filled up pretty quickly.

My first impression was lovely (maybe it was the cowboy helpers), but my opinion changed upon arrival to my room. I was greeted by a cup full of cigarettes in soggy water and no toliet paper. (Took 3 hours to get t.p.) The housekeeping is seemingly non-existent (no mirrors done, no vacuuming, no bathroom shelves wiped, sheets not changed) and room was never done before 3:00. The hotel and its facilities are very good. The staff is very friendly and will solve any issue that you may have. The hotel have a shuttle bus that may take you to downtown although it is at walking distance. We enjoyed our two night stay at a condo in Snow King. The condo was very clean, and nicely appointed. It's what you'd typically expect in Western upgrade - plaid couches, comfy beds, heavy furniture. We were up in the 3400 building which I hate to report does not have an elevator and it's six flights of stairs up to the room from the parking garage. I would make sure when you check in the building has an elevator if you're lugging heavy luggage up the stairs. We'll definitely be back.

I was expecting a moderate place to stay in Jackson Hole wile traveling to Sturgis. BUT WOW!! excellent find, In Jackson Hole just south of the Teton and Yosemite parks this is "the best place to stay" , The food and bar service is off the charts, the condo we stayed at was clean, modern and had great views. I give 5 stars because location, value and great people work and run this resort.

We stayed in one of the 3-bedroom 3-bath residences. Very luxury, comfortable, well equipped. It's 15-minute walk to town center. Compared to what some of the better hotels charge (mind you, in Jackson Hole nothing is inexpensive!) this condo was really good value for the money.

We arrived had a reservation but, I ended up standing at the front desk for literally one hour while my husband was waiting outside in the car. It was supposed to be just a quick check in as we had our reservation. The front desk was a little too casual and didn't really seem to care that they didn't have what we reserved. They wanted to "just switch" us to another for the same price. I disagreed! when you have a reservation and confirmation they shouldn't be moving people around and make me sta... Read more

Imagine going for a short walk down the street and walking into a resort area for winter sports! The first thing we saw were the ski runs down huge hills. In fact, workers were putting on the chairs that go to the ski lifts. There were places to ice skate, or to ride a toboggan-type ride. This looked like an interesting spot to either be involved in the winter sport or to watch them!! Easy walking distance as it was about two blocks off the main drag.

While this is a newly renovated property, makeup can only cover up so much.... the elevators are SMALL, OLD, SLOW and worn with the interiors more suited to moving freight rather than people. Speaking of SMALL, I did'nt think it was possible but the rooms here are smaller than the Motel 6 here in Jackson Hole. At least the rooms at Motel 6 are more reasonably priced per square footage!!!!! Service in restaurant is SLOW and given the lack of customers in the place, quite puzzling.

A beautiful property and easy walking distance to the downtown area. The room was large and comfortable. There were a few drawbacks - lighting wasn't great in the bathroom area, the resort fees were a bit excessive for what was offered (they should at least through in a free daily ride on Cowboy Coaster if they are going to charge $30/day for a pool, WiFi and a small gym) and the shower experience was below a level of a Motel 6. Base rate is moderately expensive, but they hit you with a $32/night "resort fee" plus $10/night for parking which makes it expensive and it is an average hotel, at best.
