If you are looking for something that won't cost you a small fortune or a downpayment on a new Mercedes for a night's stay, this is probably as good as you will do. We came through at the tail end of the off-season, but advertised prices were still well above $100. Being budget conscious, we asked if they could do any better. They can, but it is in the older part of the hotel with external walk-out rooms running about $75 a night in the winter, and with decor and mattresses that probably date t... Read more

It's a pretty basic motel but the rooms are quite large and clean with a nice big balcony. Great location right in the center of town. We had a really nice view of the mountain from our balcony! My only complaint was that the night clerk didn't say anything about the breakfast schedule or that they even provide a continental breakfast.

My wife and I have been coming to Jackson since the early 90's and the Ranch Inn has always been a part of the experience. We always stay in the tower side as it is more up to date and the rooms are just better overall. The location could not be better, you're right off the square making your stay entirely walkable yet quiet on those crazy weekend nights. Parking is adequate but tight for larger vehicles. Tower rooms have a nice deck and great view of the mountain. So whether your a young c... Read more

My loving but not so savy travel agent booked our rooms for a stay we will be taking in May. I felt the need to check behind him to make sure all the little things were taken care of. OUCH no elevator, and I need a considerable amount of help to get help over a curb. Called to confirm my husband got us a ds room...not. In comes my travel hero EVAN. He made it possible for me to stay at what seems to be a very nice place with prices to die for. Book early though and save almost half the pric... Read more

Walked in with no reservation based on past reviews. Clerk offered a great room at a very reasonable price. Stayed the first night. Experience was so nice we decided to ask to stay two additional nights. Clerk actually moved a previous reservation to another room so that we would not have to change rooms. Breakfast provided was a normal light spread. Nothing exceptional. Still, clean and adequate.

We needed an inexpensive place to stay in Jackson for one night and this fit the bill. We checked in after midnight and the night staff was friendly and helpful. The king bed room was huge! There was a big sofa and chair (with ottoman), a second sink (besides the on in the bathroom), and a patio with table and chairs. It is right in the middle of town which is convenient but can also be a little noisy.

Clean rooms equipped with a microwave and fridge. The beds were pretty darn comfortable too. The balcony we had in our tower room was a decent size and backs up to a beautiful mountain view. There is a brewery/Thai restaurant just a few steps down the road that is delicious with excellent beer

We have been to Jackson Hole, Wyoming 5 times and we stay here every time. It is in a great location, centrally located in downtown and well within walking distance of great shops and places to eat. The front desk staff could barely grunt hello. They were unhelpful and not accommodating. It is a noisy, old hotel in need of updating. I thought I was going to sink into the center of the mattress and never return. I would not recommend this hotel if you want to sleep. On the other hand the Grand Tetons were amazing.

We had a great stay here! The reviews were a little mixed, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but was very pleasantly surprised. We had a tower room, which was extremely spacious with a lovely balcony and nice view. Compared to the prices of some of the other hotels in the area, I thought we received an excellent value. The location truly can't be beat - literally one block from the town square (and Million Dollar Cowboy Bar), among others. Parking and wifi were both free. I'd definitely stay... Read more

Check in was quick and easy. We moved the car to the larger lot and brought our bags up to the third floor. The hotel has exterior stairs and corridors, yet also has an elevator (which was helpful with our bags). The room was perfect with lots of space inside for the four of us. The location of this hotel & the free parking are the best things about it. They advertise a hot breakfast & great views from the Tower rooms. The breakfast was definitely not hot & there were limited selections. I booked a Tower room because we would be there on my husband's birthday & the ad sounded so good. My wife and I were in Jackson over the weekend and stayed at the Ranch Inn. I was first disappointed about not having a safe, or fridge, in the room. I thought these were basics. The location is a half block off town square, which was perfect. The place was clean, basic, and had a decent continental breakfast. Parking was also good, free, and plenty of spaces. I'll try a different place on the next stay, but I would stay at the Ranch Inn again if needed.

I wasn't overly impressed with the hotel. We had a tower room so did have a balcony. There are notices in the room though about not answering the door to anyone if they claim to be with the hotel unless you call the front desk first. I cringe to know why they had to state that in the first place.

We drove across country and stayed at many hotels - unfortunately this was our least favorite. It needs updating desperately. It seemed old and musty. We did not have a balcony room. It was on the first floor by the check in desk. My husband was a little hesitant about even staying here when we arrived. They had hardly any plug ins so charging any devices was a pain. The wifi was good. The breakfast ended at 9:30 and we slept in so we missed it. Overall, I would try something else.

Comfortable and clean room, but everything is as basic as an average US motel (bedding, bathroom, breakfast). But I paid three times more than for a regular motel!!! Maybe it's because of Jackson + the August effect, but still - it's obviously overpriced. Good situation in Jackson town though.

We stayed in one of the basic rooms -- not the pricier rooms. I was a little leery of this, but we were very happy enough. It is what it seems like -- an older, run-of-the-mill motel. But it was clean, comfortable, and pleasant, the continental breakfast did the job (with ample tables and chairs), and its proximity to the center of town is unbeatable.
