Very nice and clean rooms and friendly staff. Great views. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and shopping. Next time I think I will rent a cabin, they seem quaint. I would recommend this hotel.

We only stayed here for one night on our way to West Yellowstone but the rooms were clean and the reception staff were extremely helpful. We arrived at 10pm and wanted some where to eat they provided helpful suggestions and worst comes to worst the number to the best delivery pizza. Room was clean with all necessary amenities. Bed extremely comfortable and great value.

This place was stuck in the early 80s. The carpet was old and the dmell let you know of its age. The bathroom, vanity sink were dated. There was an updated bed, TV and refrigerator, but that was it. For the price, the place should have been updated. If you are in town for skiing or hunting, this might be a place for you. But for business extended stays of 2 days or more, i wouldn't recommend it.

2 recent stays. One in the 3 bed loft..very spacious. Place has great towels and is pet friendly. Would like to try the cabins next time. Definitely would go back. On the south side of town near one of the few places open for breakfast..Bubbas . But I would not recommend Bubbas

I had to make a "last minute" booking en route to Yellowstone (travel delays). The room I booked on-line couldn't accommodate my elderly father. The clerk went "above and beyond" to assist at no extra cost to me. WONDERFUL stay and I will now only go here when visiting Jackson, WY! Clean and convenient to downtown.

Enjoyed the stay. Clean and modern. Friendly people. Expensive but it's Jackson! Wifi, tv, plenty of towels. Will recommend. Plenty of options. Either rooms or cabins. Little breakfast. Centrally located in town next to Bubba's! Beautiful furniture.

Quint little cabins made for a nice stay. The real attraction is the area, and the made for a nice base for our week. The cabins are comfortable and tight. Their common area is tiny but effective. It worked well.

My family and I stayed here the night we left Yellowstone. We booked one of the small cabins, but it looked like they have normal rooms as well. The cabins have a small kitchen, so if you want to stay in for your meals you can.

I didn't know about this inn until the Painted Buffalo goofed on my reservation and then they called around and found me a room of compatible price at the Elk Country Inn. The room was spacious, comfortable, (the beds were great) and the handicapped roll-in shower was very nice. Good handicapped ramp, room right next to the door, in a quiet area so there was no street noise. The little cabins looked nice, and I plan to go back and stay in a cabin someday. I would recommend this motel for any... Read more

My two friends and I stayed here for the Grand Teton Half Marathon. The beds are comfortable with nice linens. The room was big enough that we did not feel jammed in like sardines since we all shared the room. The price was spendy for what you got but I hear that is the norm in Jackson. Here is why I personally wouldnt stay here again. The air conditioning unit in the room was like a jet taking off every time it started. I am a light sleeper so this was a huge issue. Also the hot tub hours are 10... Read more

We did not intend on staying in Jackson, but as you know you can get sidetracked when traveling. Riley and Chanceton did everything to make the last room available a pleasant experience. We stayed on the street back unit but did not have an issue with noise. The bed was very comfortable with a memory foam pad. The decor was western. The room was not crowded and we were able to move about freely. There were many housekeeping staff the next morning and were friendly. We looked inside the ca... Read more

This is a very quaint hotel that serves as a great base for Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, both about an hour and a half to two hours away. The rooms are spotlessly clean, beds comfortable, and the area is quiet. We slept very well. We had a family accomodation with a loft with a queen bed and 2 queen beds downstairs. Perfect for the 5 of us!

It is close to everything and it was so nice to come back from a day of site seeing, ditch the car and walk to dinner. They have a large grassy area with picnic tables which we would use just to enjoy the surroundings, in the middle of town but with a sence of seclusion. The laundry facility was large enough to take care of several loads at once--thank you very much! My husband enjoyed his stop by the office for a cup of coffee and some very good cookies! Stayed here in june 2016, on a western trip with the wife and kids. Nice motel type place centrally located to all Jackson has. With a few issues. First and fore most our room was clean and the facilties seemed clean , although our room did have a slight smell of cat urine (found out later that rooms allowed pets!). We stayed in the room with the loft. Also No breakfast is served on premises, which was an issue for us. Decor needed some updating too. Probably would try something else next time

We stayed in the King cabin. We had very good customer service, clean rooms, and the softest towels & linens ever! Great location, walking distance to many stores & restaurants. I loved the big full basket of flowers hanging in each cabins entry way with a picnic table & chairs. Great idea to have hoses to wash your car/boats too. That came in handy.

Ok to be fair, there aren't many luxury accommodations in Jackson.. We stayed here for 1 night en route to Yellowstone. We had 2 queen beds and it was overall good for one night. Its definitely not 4 or 5 stars.. The place could use some upgrading. My biggest issue was with the stale smell of the building and poor ventilation. The AC was useless and it got it be quite stuffy in the room. Location was good news walking distance to restaurants.

They had cute cabins that we might have to request next time. we were in the hotel part.

The Elk Country Inn has several rooms that include a loft with a queen size bed in addition to the 2 queens in the main area. These rooms also offer a small kitchen which is also a nice bonus. The hotel is a bit dated, but the people at the front desk are very nice, and they offer fresh baked cookies every night which we looked forward to after a long day of hiking or moose hunting!

We stayed in a loft room, which has an area with a queen size bed that is separate from the rest of the room. This is good for families who need some extra room and don't want to get two separate rooms. I appreciated the beverages, fruit and cookies available in the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful. Laundry room and hot tub were nice too. Within walking distance of many restaurants and shops.

We stayed here for a night in Jackson Hole. We got a good deal from a 3rd party booking site, but I think the regular price is fair compared to accommodations in the area, especially staying in a cabin. it was a nice cabin with small kitchen, 2 double beds and a sleeper sofa. It also had a little picnic table on the porch we could enjoy the outdoors. It was right in town so we could walk places and we were there on the night of a rodeo so we walked a couple blocks over and went to that.

We spent the last night of our trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks with our 3 young granddaughters at the Elk Country Lodge. No sooner had we checked in than the power went out all over Jackson. It was close to dinner time and nothing was open. The staff of the hotel set up a BBQ and grilled brats and burgers for all the guests. They turned what could have been a very sad end to our trip into one of the best. Thank you to all.

I loved the jacuzzi, great after a day sightseeing in the Tetons . Good size room although a bit dark. We had a problem with the fridge not working and all our food for breakfast and lunch was spoiled. However the Manager went to the supermarket and bought a great selection of food to replace it so all was forgiven! He couldn't have done more. They provide fruit in the morning but not breakfast. Convenient for local restaurants and the road into the Teton Park

If you are looking for a clean, comfortable room or cabin (think TIny House or TIny Log Cabin) at a reasonable rate for the Jackson area, then you can't go wrong here. You will get a good night's sleep with comfortable beds, decent and clean bathroom and with other items in your room for a comfortable stay. A great place for a family or couple. Pride of ownership shows in the landscaping and care of the buildings. Easily recommended. I have given it five stars for what it offers.

The rooms come with loads of amenities, the room was comfortable, clean and quiet although had a slightly damp smell.
