We stayed on a ski trip, used the shuttle to and from Jackson Hole (not the ski hill in the photos note) which is shared with the other hotels in the group but we got a seat and it worked great. We ate and drank in town every night, less than 10 min walk to town square so loads of choice but no noise. Breakfast is pretty basic but enough to fuel you up for the morning for free. Staff were pretty cold at reception. I hate on the day of check out that the cleaner rattles the door at 8 am when ... Read more

We visited Jackson as a last-minute getaway. So glad I picked the Cowboy Village Resort! Our cabin had a separate lounge area so I was able to sleep comfortably away from the snoring member of the party. The room was incredibly comfortable and well appointed. The beds were plushy and the couch bed was comfortable. Wifi was quite fast. I loved the blood orange soap and shampoo; I'd had the same brand at a hotel in San Francisco and was happy to see it here. It is obvious the hotel cares abou... Read more

We stayed two times in May. Our cabin was clean and comfortable. It had plenty of room and all of the conveniences for overnight or a week. Bubba's restaurant next door has a breakfast to last all day. We slept well with none of the common irritations of others above, next door or slamming the doors.

I modified my booking several times before we left home and some nights didn't get cancelled. They worked with me to get what I needed with no cancellation charges. I will stay here again when I return.

Very Small cabins packed with furniture. No room to put more than maybe 2 small suitcases. Internet is unusable. It is there... but unusable. Slower than DSL if you even get it to work. They were very hard to work with when we had to change our arrival date by one day, we spent hours on the the phone over several days to get it worked out. Good location though.

Word of warning... don't put more than one family in a cabin as it's tight quarters (we tried to put an extra couple on the pull out couch and it make for tight living!). I stayed here about 25 yrs ago. I was pleased then & now. The resort located a block or more back from busy West Broadway has the quiet feel of a private community. That said when I booked this 2-night stay paying more than twice what I paid in 1992, I worried about the cabins being dingy & old. To my surprise, my worries were unfounded. While staying here is expensive, it is not overly so for Jackson. The location is easily accessible and within walking distance to downtown. The facility is well maintained. The cabin was quiet, clean and comfortable except for the bunk beds. We had a cabin with queen bunks because it was the only one available when we made reservations. Unfortunately, we found them to be uncomfortable with not much space between levels. Would stay here again in a cabin with no bunk bed.

We were in Jackson for a family reunion, with a range of ages and budgets. Not over-priced, for Jackson. To call it a resort is a stretch... there is a small indoor pool which was too warm for me. Cowboy Village provides reasonablly priced (for Jackson!) accommodation. The location of your allocated cabin will probably influence your view of the place. On a previous visit, we were given a cabin away from the Reception building - a busy place - and felt a greater sense of privacy. On our latest stay, the cabin was nearer the Services Area and, consequently, slightly noisier and a lot less private. The cabins are functional but small (depending on your perspective).

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Grand Teton National Park. I would highly recommend this property. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very funny gentleman (wish I could remember his name). The property is well maintained and clean. The cabin we stayed in was immaculate. The bed was especially comfortable with numerous pillows on it. They had guest bathrobes for use while we were there. Nice touch! The kitchenette was furnished with dishes which came in handy because on... Read more

Cute private cabins with a surprising number of amenities and really friendly and helpful staff. The photographs on this one do not lie. The rooms were exactly as shown. Be careful if you choose the queen bunk beds. There is always low clearance which is easy to forget. My wife sat up to stretch in the night and bonked her head pretty good.

My husband, daughter and I stayed 3 nights in a queen bunk. The cabin was cramped, the "kitchenette" so tiny using the toaster and the burner at the same time was not possible. Workout facility did not open until 7:00am, which is late if you plan on getting a workout in prior to a busy day in the parks. If the room description had explained that the queen bunk room was small, I would have looked into a more spacious cabin. I do not feel that the price I paid was a fair value for what I received.

From the outside you think "Oh it's so cute and homey... like our own little house" but then you get in and it is pretty teeny. There was nowhere really to put your stuff except on the eating table. The table and chairs were literally about on their last leg. Wobbly, creaky and I thought if my husband sneezed he was going to fall to the floor. The nook of the cooking area was extremely tight. Usable but I didn't think it was practical. The bathroom was teeny. You about couldn't shut the door if ... Read more

The check-in process was fast and efficient with friendly staff. Had an issue with a non-working exterior light and it was resolved very quickly. My wife and I stayed in one of the smaller cabins. It was comfortable and clean with a small, but reasonably-equipped kitchen that could be used with the exterior grill to keep food costs to a minimum for the budget traveler. Not much storage space but the luggage does fit under the bed. Location to Jackson Town Square and restaurants was excellen... Read more

Dave at the front desk was the nicest person that we met during her entire visit to Yellowstone and Jackson hole Wyoming. He took us to our cabin to make sure that it was suitable for us. We found the cabin clean and the grounds very well-kept.

Our family recently stayed at The Cowboy Village on our trip to Jackson. It was perfect for our party of two adults and 3 young teens. We had a room wih two queen bunks, and a pullout sofa. The setting was nice, the room space was ample, and most of all very clean. We were near the town square, in a great location. We had a reservation for one night, but loved it so much, that we ended up staying another night. We will definitely stay here again. Price was extremely reasonable as well.

This resort offers individual cabins with kitchenettes inside. We stayed in a cabin with two queens and a living room area. The price was very reasonable for Jackson, and the cabin was modern and clean. The location was good too - convenient to downtown and to the ski resort (although we were there in the fall). The only complaint was that parking could get a bit hairy late at night. It might not be a terrible idea to provide at least one assigned parking space per cabin.

They offer up motel style accommodation as well as individual cabins. Very clean and the staff is great, friendly and informed. Reasonably priced compared to some other accommodations in town. There are many great restaurants within walking distance. The famous town square is a short walk as well.

We have visited Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park many times, but had not stayed in Cowboy Village until this past week. From the start, the staff was great...both at the desk and cleaning crews. Toby, desk clerk, not only did a great job checking us in and out, but fixed a billing issue on the spot...super service! The cabins were clean and had been updated...granite counter tops, clean carpets, etc. Our kids brought small dogs which were welcomed and, since many other guests had dogs,... Read more

We had a cabin complete with its own kitchenette. The decor is fabulous - log cabin. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom while small, was still very adequate. There's a little porch at the front where you can sit and have dinner. Unfortunately the outdoor bbq's were not working so we did have to cook our meals in the kitchenette. The indoor pool is just the thing after a day exploring the nearby Grand Tetons. The staff are very welcoming and friendly.

We loved our cabin at Cowboy Village! It was a perfect escape from the city. The heater in the bathroom was the perfect surprise for this Texas girl. We want to come back to Jackson and know this will be our go to. Only next time with our dogs! The staff was super friendly and Hannah was so genuine when I called to confirm our dates.. which had to be changed and had me freaking out. She took care of it and I felt so much better. Also the recommendation for our anniversary dinner was spot... Read more

Great cabin. Great location and very helpful desk personnel. They even offered to pick up Thai for us when they went for their own. Clean, modern, and ideal location. A very strong recommendation. Try Bubba's for breakfast

Excellent place to stay! Cabin was good sized and absolutely spotless. Very quiet. Wonderful porch with grill. Although we did not use the grill, the chairs on the porch were a great place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine before bed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Jackson.

Traveling from Alaska, we visited Cowboy Village Resort for the second time. It was the main reason we chose the route home that we did. Parking is right in front of the cabin; dog-friendly with a grassy front yard all your own; laundry facilities that are clean and available most of the time; friendly staff; kitchen stocked enough to fix a small easily prepared meal right there in your cabin. You have your own individual log cabin . We woke up the following morning and everything was covere... Read more

We enjoyed staying at Cowboy Village and recommend to others. We especially liked the space (2 rooms plus bath), quality bedding and cleanliness. It is about 10 minute walk to town square. It was a good choice for us.

The cowboy Village Resort is quaint. It was nice to have individual cabins instead of the usual hotel experience. Everything was clean and well maintained. The bed in our cabin was a little old and a newer, softer, less squeaky mattress would have been nice. The pool was small and the hot tub wasn't very hot. They have coffee, tea and hot chocolate available during the hours that the front desk is open. It was nice to have a kitchenette and BBQ available. I would recommend staying here, h... Read more

due to the bunk bed this was the hotel our kids liked most - they wanted to sleep on top, of course. The rooms are clean, well equipped with a small kitchen but a little small. There is no real breakfast but coffee, juice, fruit and cookies. Even off season I found the price a little steep. There is small and nice pool combined with a hot tub.

This is my second visit to Cowboy Village Resort. I love it. I specifically took the scenic route through Jackson just to stay here again. I travel with my dog...which is welcomed at Cowboy Village. We get our own little log cabin...its awesome. Walking distance from downtown Jackson. You can find cheaper places or more expensive ones in Jackson...but you wont find one more fun than Cowboy Village.

I did my homework prior to our Jackson visit. I called tons of resorts and did an abundant amount of research online. However, when I finally found the Cowboy Village Resort it sounded perfect for our vacation. We stayed in one of the rooms in the main lodge (2 queen beds, bunk beds, and full kitchen). This was the perfect room for our stay! CLEAN...CLEAN...CLEAN and really well maintained!! Room was large enough for our 4 adults and 3 kids. The room was quite affordable and the location is ... It's a quaint, yet well appointed cabin, complete with a kitchenette and a flat screen television with cable TV and free WiFi. A queen sized bed and a sofa, that's exactly all I needed. I was in town last winter for a snowmobiling trip through Yellowstone. I spent two nights here at the Cowboy Village and was thrilled from head to toe. I loved the place, there was even a full sized snowman outside my door. I rented a 4WD truck and was able to park my monster right outside my front door. Th... Read more

For the first time since my husband died, I decided to do a photo trip alone. I was a little apprehensive, so I planned carefully making my reservations in advance. I thought a little cabin in the woods would be romantic, but I did not want to be far away from humanity, so I chose a cabin in town to be safe. The Cowboy Village Resort is a collection of log cabins grouped together amid trees with a pool and hot tub which I did not use. The cabin was so inviting with a queen bed, coach, small ... Read more

We had a nice stay at Cowboy Village last week, each unit is an actual small Log Cabin which is nice for noise. It didn't hurt that we woke up to a blanket of fresh snow, but the stay would have been great all the same. There's a full bath, small kitchenette, dining table, sofa sleeper and a queen bed in the standard room. Everything was clean and the cabin was super cozy. We brought some Artisan Pizza back, enjoyed that and some wine while we watched the Buffs and Utes. The location is convenie... Read more
