This is one of those places that looks are deceiving. Don't be fooled by the outside--this was a very comfortable and adequate place for one night. It is much cheaper than others in Cody. The owner/manager tries very hard to please and succeeds for the most part. A very pleasant surprise.

My review is very mixed. I enjoyed staying in this retro motel. Unfortunately, the deadbolt on the door to our room did not lock. NOT OK. The room was clean, but very small. The tub did not drain during your shower. NOT OK. The breakfast room was TOO SMALL for the number of guest staying there. The desk clerk in the morning was really nice. He let us print our tickets from my email. He is the only reason this review is 3 stars vs. 2 stars.

On the edge of town so a quiet location, close to Walmart if that's important to you. A generally shabby and outdated motel owned by a direct descendant of Buffalo Bill and looks like he feels he can trade on his family name rather than on merit. The room was clean and the bed comfortable enough, adequate bedding and lighting. Couldn't use deadbolt on exterior door, which I didn't like. The fridge was very tiny and on the floor, had to get on knees to use and not cold enough. Bathroom very sm... Read more

Very clean. Comfortable beds. Great value. Breakfast was a great start. Waffles, juice, oatmeal. Owner was very helpful with directions. Older motel, but well maintained and sufficiently updated. WiFi worked well.

We used Trip Adviser , the comments on the most part were good, so we booked two rooms. We were pleased. The room was older but nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, with lots of pillows, which I loved. Had a new large TV. The vanity I really liked it was large. The price per room was very reasonable. It was so quite here. Traveling, but we would stay here again. The check-in was easy and the clerk was very friendly and helpful, very knowledgeable of the area.
