Place is so very dirty, worn out & rotted. Pic of pool is false. Only the rotted remains of a pool. Beds hard as rock & you feel every coil. Pillows are a joke. Dirty bathrooms. Cat pee in hallways...

I knew there were problems the minute we drove into the parking lot. Curtains falling off the windows/ patio doors and sticks in the patio doors to keep them locked. My initial thought was "I'm paying $172.00 a night for this". I sucked it up wanting to be a team player because we were there with friends. They upgraded us to a suite. Trust me that was no suite. I had a stick in my patio door because the lock didn't work and a view of an empty pool. Still beyond my better judgement we staye... Read more

First experience - smell in the lobby. Second - sign that no unregistered guests are allowed - as I understand due to a number of adult entertainment businesses in the area - so I marked it in my review as known for night-life and romantic activities Hard mattresses = bad night sleep, but if you are there for a couple of hours that won't hurt much. Balcony doors that "open 6 inches due to insurance regulation", but the area immediately outside this door is littered with cigarette butts I asked ... Read more

We always pay as little as we can for hotels, as we aren't In a place to see the hotel. Most of the hotels we stay in score below 2 stars on TA before we visit but you get what you pay for. We arrived at this hotel after a long day of flying and driving and apprehensively checked ourselves in. Had our run of luck with hotels finally caught up with us?! Thankfully no. The hotel was a bit run down but otherwise it was great. Some of the negative reviews may make reference to other rooms, but... Read more

Ya it's ok for one night. It's showing it's age but is clean and the front desk was nice. It's an old Howard Johnson's with a connected resturant, resturant is ok. Real close to the airport and easy to get to.

Room appeared to have new mattresses which was good to see because I was a little skeptical after the looks of the rest of the hotel. Now they need to spend money on new pillows. The one I had was very lumpy therefore I did not sleep well. New towels would also be a nice touch. Didn't have time to use the pool as we spent the entire day at Summerfest but curious to know why it doesn't have any water in it.

We were headed to Summerfest at the last minute, and couldn't find a reasonable room. so despite our misgivings we booked a room, the place in disrepair, the shower had a hole in the tub, the outlets by the desk would not hold a plug. since they were the only outlets except for the bathroom, we had to stack shoes under the plug outlet to keep our phones in. the room did seem so so clean - not terrible. the alarming part was we had checked in and put the privacy sign on and then went out. we... I walked into the lobby after a long airport delay, and approached an awkward situation of not being greeted by the men at the desk, sitting with earbuds in and clearly wanting nothing to do with helping me. I mustered up a chipper, friendly greeting and got a monotonous "and you are?" and an eye roll in response to my greeting. I had arrived late in the night and was told my reservation was cancelled. I was exhausted after a long day of traveling and had to stand at the counter for 25 minutes ... Read more

This is a run down side-of-the-road dump! The hotel clerk has a nasty attitude and it appears that the customers are bothering her by checking in. The best thing I did was refuse to check in after she described the hotel policy on check-in as "if you don't want to sign all these documents (without reading them) you don't have to stay here. The combination of her and the hotel was enough to make even the most tired traveler move on to better accommodations!

ALSO i never got my $50 fee back too. -_- left the room how it was and everything. when checking out the young man didn't know what he was doing. My room wasn't able to lock, and i kept getting random knocks. PLUS! when i... Read more

The hotel is dated but had a very nice bed. Huge issue with WIFI! Didn't work for 2 days. They say it's just an issue. Close to the airport, very nice family restaurant attached. Located on the main street, the staff was nice. And the rooms were clean. Microwave and fridge!

I stayed at this place for two nights with another guy on a motorcycle trip to Milwaukee. The front desk people were fine, and the restaurant/bar next door was pretty good. The rooms were cheap, which is probably why my friend picked it, and the only reason to stay there. Let's put it this way, my wife would *never* stay there! My friend thought his sheets were stained, and that they would be changed the next day. We left for the day and when we came back, the beds were made, but the sheets hadn... Read more

The hotel stinks very badly. The police showed up to take a very intoxicated woman away. The same woman that was swearing at the air in the hallway when we went to our room. Two rooms had the doors open and the rooms were visible to anyone walking the hallway. They were both filled with garbage, empty alcohol bottles and very young children. The place apparently is under new ownership and it is getting cleaned up. It does appear to be getting better from the earlier reviews that I have read, bu... Read more
