After reading the bad reviews, I was prepared for a tattered, filthy room! On the contrary, my room is quiet, clean and spacious and the bed and pillows comfortable. No heat issues and it was the best sleep I've had in a while! Most staff were friendly...Rodney was funny and personable (though the female clerk seemed to have a bit of an attitude) and check-in was easy breezy. If I had to find fault it would be the relatively few TV channels, but that's really no matter. I did smell pot on the fi... Read more

We stayed here for three nights in March as our son was competing at the State Swimming Meet. Our room was simply spotless and we found the staff were extremely helpful, especially Rodney who went out of his way to help. The breakfast, even though it was a Super 8, the items were very smartly presented....example: the juices were inside elegant jugs. They really took great care with their breakfast. At breakfast we had a hand drawn note from Rodney welcoming us to La Quinta! Now that's a great w... Read more

Excellent Service, kind, warm and friendly staff and a great value. You are treated like a friend. Great location and quick access to the freeway. Breakfast buffet is well kept and the food is fresh and good.

This hotel is good if a bit shabby. Greater attention could be paid to details, but it was in the location I needed and at an affordable price. We rely on hotels that are pet friendly, which this one is. Our second morning there the breakfast food seemed to have run out quite early and was not replenished in a timely fashion. But there were many guests staying for graduation weekend and headed out early, so this is not too surprising, though greater effort could have been made to restock.

Booked a suite for college graduation weekend. Kitchenette faucet was dripping upon arrival. Management offered to have faucet replaced during our stay, but we did not want the imposition on our time/attention. Maintenance promptly turned off water supply to stop the dripping with our approval. Later, popcorn snack burned in malfunctioning microwave which smelled up the room for a while. $ for snack refunded. Management offered to switch out microwaves, but again, we did not want the hassle. We ... Read more

Good hotel for short visit to Milwaukee. Great location and easy to reach, just off I-43 in Glendale, Wisconsin. I have stayed there several times over last 30 years. I would recommend this hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. There was a loud party in the room next door for about an hour until I suppose the night clerk shut it down.

We were diverted to this hotel because our online service overbooked our original hotel. Glad we did. Although lacking a fitness room, the room and staff and price more than made up for this. Location was also a plus.

Our friends and I arrived just to find out that we made a mistake with our reservation. But thanks to Fleur Chantal it was not a problem after all. Thanks to her I believe in customer SERVICE again. We travel a lot and the worst experiences just keep coming, thanks to our stay at the La Quinta Inn and Fleur Chantal there are still GREAT experiences as well. She could have not been sweeter or more professional. There are a few reviews here about not being up to Par etc. I have to say this: you d... Read more

Yuck! The wooden furniture is worn, the lobby has trash laying around (even overnight), the elevator floor was dirty and sticky and the housekeeping was awful. Only had one packet of coffee (in a king room), which was not even replaced the second day. Biggest insult was that we had a bag of bakery cookies on the desk, which the cleaner threw away (!), leaving the crumbs unwiped on the desk. And the trash was still full when we entered the "clean" room and noticed the missing cookies. The breakfa... Read more

I got back from vacation and couldn't find my house keys, so I had to find a hotel class to home that wasn't too expensive. The La Quinta Glendale/Hampton was a great price for a quality hotel in the North Shore area - where most hotels are over $100. The lobby and rooms were well decorated and cared for, and the beds were very comfortable.

If you stop at the La Quinta 3 blocks away, your first impression is that the 5110 La Quinta is tired, worn or maybe, trashy. The bridal party hauling in liquor by the metric ton seemed to indicate that this was the local hotel to get overly drunk and stupid. The front desk clerks were very professional and polite. The lobby and halls were clean; certainly not the impression that the outside gives! Our room was spotless; new linens were on the beds and upscale photos on the walls. Even though o... Read more

The room was dirty, no pool and was not updated. Our room smelled moldy. The rooms were double beds instead of queens. Do not stay here unless you are desperate.I am a Returns member and this was the worst hotel of La Quinta I have ever stayed at.

The price was perfect for what we needed. Just one night stay for the reunion Close by. Found it strange the cook was walking around in pajama bottoms Eek. Worth the price for this time of year. Dining area totally outdated. Not much for breakfast selection. If in area, would consider again, if price was right.

Have used this hotel several times for myself and guests. But this was, by far, the most pleasant experience at this hotel. I used my points to book this stay, and the room and experience encountered was the best yet!

We actually had a nice stay at La Quinta. The design is unfortunately dated, and there is not much that can be done except tear it down and start again. But this isn't practical. We'd stayed there under a different franchise in the past. But the hotel has been redecorated, and it has some nice 3-star touches. It also has some 1-star touches as well, and the hotel could do something about these. Our room was pretty and nicely decorated. It had pictures on the wall, an extremely comfortable king... Stayed for five days, and room was not cleaned nor bedding changed the entire stay. Hotel is older, but I would not have minded at all had my room been clean and had there been maintenance to my room during my stay. Trash not emptied, trash cans with no liners, floors not cleaned, bedding not changed. Staff at front desk were very friendly. Group of men hanging around the front door drinking were rather intimidating for a woman traveling alone. Trash bin by front door was overflowing with ... Read more
