We've been coming to Residence Inn now Hawthorn Suites for 14 years. I must admit I was concerned when it changed to Hawthorn. We were pleasantly surprised. Some of the old staff from Residence Inn was still there and the new staff members were nice and helpful at all times. They did updates to the kitchen and bathroom cupboards. Rooms are clean. They now have an electric fireplace. How nice. Breakfast is good and fresh. I cannot think of anything negative. We'll continue to stay here when... Read more

We were in Green Bay for a funeral and memorial. The suggestion was to stay at a hotel adjacent to the restaurant where the memorial dinner was held. That did look like much to me. Searching I found Hawthorn Suites. What a wonderful find. I'm just sorry we did have a chance to stay longer. A large room with two queen beds, but also a large sitting area with a comfortable couch that converted to a bed. An electronic fireplace, a kitchenette with full sized fridge, microwave, etc. Exactly ... Read more

After a long road trip from Nashville, TN this stay was perfect. The bathroom sparkled...I'm not even exaggerating. It was quiet, lots of room, it had a full kitchen and lots of cable channels (cartoons for the toddler). Our room was great and the front desk was friendly. It had a buffet style hot breakfast and we were able to buy some beers at the front desk. They had other beverages and wine and snacks as well. The pool and patio area was small and outside so don't expect anything fancy for th... Read more

I was attending a convention in Green Bay and had recent knee replacement surgery. Hawthorn was not that close to the convention but had openings. I booked for 3 nights. The night before the convention a room became available at the convention hotel. Because of my recent surgery it was so important to be close to the convention. Management at Hawthorn would not cancel my reservation there and charged me for all 3 nights even though I did not stay there. I could understand charging for one night ... Read more

My stay at Hawthorn was very brief, but the accommodations were very nice and the continental breakfast was an added bonus to not have to rush out Monday morning. Although I needed to be somewhere by 10 am, I thought the noon check out time was absolutely wonderful. The staff / breakfast staff were extremely pleasant. I will stay at Hawthorn again. Thanks

We had the fortune and misfortune of closing on our house quicker than we expected! We needed a place for our family of 5 to live until the end of the school year...40 days away. Hawthorn Suites was a perfect fit! The unit provided a full kitchen, two bathrooms, and allows pets. The staff could not have been more accommodating, and friendly. They make every effort to make their guests feel "at home" with courteous service and enjoyable Wednesday night social time. I would recommend Hawthorn... Read more

Very spacious rooms, a little outdated but very clean. Pool was very nice and maintenance was checking pool and hot tub regularly. Only complaint is that there were no umbrellas for the tables so there was no relief from the sun. Breakfast was good your normal scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal and breads with coffee, milk and juice.

We stayed only one night in what was called a 'penthouse' by the lady at the front desk OR a 'bilevel suite' by the 800 number reservations customer service agent. The unit is very dated but clean - a murphy bed, pull out couch, full bathroom, small kitchen and living room area downstairs with an upstairs loft with a queen bed and full bath. Our kids used the murphy bed. There was a complimentary breakfast in the lobby area that had a great little selection of cereals, oatmeal, breads, donuts, e... Read more

They will even deliver groceries for you. The breakfast is billed as a full hot breakfast, but was about par with other breakfasts for rooms of a similar charge. My family enjoyed the stay at Hawthorn Suites in Green Bay. The front desk service was polite and courteous. The room was clean and neatly done. We had fun swimming in the pool and walking the nearby trail. Also, the breakfast food was plentiful and tasty. The only problem was a loud bathroom fan in one of the units next door. It ran most of the night and was a little annoying but tolerable.

The Hawthorne Suites is getting a bit in need of a makeover. Shabby outside landscape upkeep. Spider webs everywhere had the little ones scared. The rooms are perfect for for a small family but need a lot of help. New mattresses and pillows would be a good start. The Murphy bed and pullout sofa mattresses were the worst, stained and shabby. Disregard any negative posts you might have read about this place. It's only a couple miles from Lambeau Field. They have a shuttle service that takes you to the game and back. The room I stayed in was very clean, and quiet. I stayed in the penthouse bi level. Bring some buds and split the cost. It's well worth it. They have a real stove and full sized frig in the kitchen area. Nice flat screen TV on both levels. This will definitely be my" go to "place for future sporting events in the Green Bay... Read more

The wooden steps leading upstairs to my room looked like they haven't been cleaned or stained properly for years, The bath towels were absolutely awful. They were the thinnest bath towels I have ever seen. They were thin, and small. Pretty horrible....

The room was nice but dated. I worked nights and asked if I could schedule cleanings in the early to kate afternoon, however they were unable to accomodate me. It would be nice if you could work on this issue in the future.

My grandson and I were in Green Bay for the Packer-Colt game. Stayed at Hawthorn for 2 nights. Our suite was good, a little outdated, but overall comfortable. The Lamers shuttle service to Lambeau was a nice added feature. Breakfast was better than what most hotels offer. Stagg was exceptional, very nice people.

I'm not a sound sleeper and the ice maker was very noisy all night long. It kept making a loud bang every 45 minutes dropping ice. After a couple of hours I finally realized what it was and had to turn the refrigerator off. Other than that the room was clean and large.

The room was very spacious, convenient and clean. The hotel is pet friendly (for a cleaning fee) and had a nice big area to walk the dogs. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially since many of them were working over the holiday.
