This is a cool property that was remodeled not too long ago but it's slowly starting to show its age. Individual buildings with 8 United per sit in the middle of a golf course. Makes for a more quiet experience but the buildings are getting older and upstairs neighbor's can be heard with every footstep. Better to stay on second story unit. Furniture is starting to fray and bathrooms need to be updated. Shower heads leaking just a little an the bath insert is getting shoddy. Kitchen is still f... Read more

I am shocked Marriott Corporation is putting their name on this hotel. The location is great. However, there is no investment being made to keep the property updated. The room looked like something out of the 70's. The bathroom had chipped tiles and the rug in the main living area was disgusting. As a devoted Marriott Platinum member I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 but that was a push.

The staff was very warm & friendly. I am employee of Marriott & I don't feel very welcomed to some of the hotels. A lot of the franchised properties tend to have the notion that you didn't pay full price and thus is an invaluable guest. But this one was great! I was treated as a valued guest by every employee that I encountered(and that was several), there was no problems with my rooms or my check in. I don't get to write many reviews, for my moto is 'if you don't have anything good to say, then... Read more

Just recently stayed here for one night. Hotel staff was so friendly, helpful and willing to assist. Pretty spacious room that included a couch, small kitchen and a work area. If you don't need to stay in downtown Milwaukee, this was a nice hotel with plenty of sopping and restaurants pretty much outside your door. Breakfast buffet was nice with plenty of options.

It was like a hotel in a park. The neighboring golf course and pond made it feel like a park. Breakfast was good. Our room was clean and well maintained. We had a ground floor room which made it convenient. Staying on the second floor would be less desirable.

I have always been a fan of Marriott. This place was really nice, the staff was great, breakfast was good. While I enjoyed the stay they really could make this a wonderful place if they did some updating. Even painting the rooms would help. It's obviously dated and things like chairs could use either replacing or a deep cleaning. There were boards laying over some mud on the sidewalk to our car. For me it was ok but for my 85 year old mother could be a tripping hazard.

We recently stayed at the Residence Inn Brookfield for one night. Located on a golf course gives it a resort type feel which adds to the relaxing ambiance of the place. Staff greeted us with a smile and were always eager to help in any way. The rooms were spacious and clean (Penthouse suite) and the morning breakfast had a great selection of good tasting items. The only small negative (and in no way an issue, but worth noting) is that the balcony could use a new coat of paint. Overall thoug... Read more

This hotel is set up exactly like another Residence Inn I reviewed in LA about 2 years ago. It's especially nice for golfers since individual rooms are more like small apartments and multiple units (each unit containing around 8 apartments) are spread throughout the property. It was a beautiful drive back to our "apartment." On seeing the property, I was worried it would cost an arm and a leg but it was $132 (including tax) for a Friday night. There is some exterior maintenance that needs to... Read more

Residence Inn is my favorite chain. This one was clean, had a great breakfast, and a lovely setting. My one big complaint...there is no electrical outlet in the dressing area of the bathroom (or at least it was so well hidden that I couldn't find nor could friends staying in another room). I agree with a previous reviewer, I could hear every step taken by the people above me. Definitely request the second floor. The rooms are a bit dated, but it was clean and the staff was efficient.

Needs attention to exteriors to update. Staff and location are good. Mattress had brown, raised spot on edge near seam-no idea what it was. Breakfast buffet average for Marriott. Next to a golf course so setting is pleasant. Staff pleasant.

We were in town for a huge beach volleyball your me this weekend. Decided to try Residence Inn because we are faithful Marriott customers. Our "room" was enormous, but I was immediately concerned when we began climbing a set of very worn-out steps. Rotted wood and chipped paint everywhere. The kitchen had nice appliances, but that's about the only other positive comment I can make. Bathrooms had rusty pipes and peeling paint. The whole place smelled like urine. We accidentally dropped something... Read more

AVOID. Can't say it any more succinctly than that. This is a conglomeration of run down, probably moldy, insect infested buildings that should probably be torn down. There must be a nicer Motel 6 or Super 8 nearby. Had to kill this intruder to take a shower my first morning. Unimpressed.

I agree with other reviews about being dated, but grounds are beautiful. This is an older style property with groups of units in separate buildings. Rooms are roomy and clean. Despite noise from nearby highway, our room was quiet probably because our unit was on opposite side of building. If you want "modern" this place is not for you. If you like a room with a tub, this place is for you. Travel safely!

I first stayed at this property 20 years ago when I was in the process of relocating into the MKE area and it would appear this property has not had any upgrades since. The reception and breakfast area were nice, but the accommodation buildings are a bit tired. Starting with the exterior stairs that lead to the upper floors that shows lots of wear, to the creaking tub/shower that makes awful noises as you move around the shower. A peer was staying at the same property and mentioned this issue as... Read more

Mold on the beds, stains and metal springs in the fold out couch, upstairs phone not working, no /wi fi, car was keyed and scratched in the parking lot the first night we were there, cracks in the bathroom tiles, worn carpet with bare patches, shingles falling off the room, and wooden stairs that are in need of replacement.
