I love this property. It is always clean and the staff is always welcoming. I think Aria checked me in and she was polite, fast and let me know of all of the amenities in the hotel. I still didn't get to try the restaurant due to a busy schedule (my twin sister's graduation) but the room was comfy, clean and relaxing. I love the bed. Thank you for another great stay!

Well, I have to admit that Morgantown needed a new hotel but I was hoping for something that knocked our socks off. The hotel is nicely decorated and the staff were very nice. Issues encountered was room temperature which unfortunately I did not see that the season mode could be changed until checkout morning. There is a panel on the thermostat that can be opened and changed. Room was too hot and uncomfortable for sleeping. Bed/pillows comfortable. Bathroom had what I think was an exhaust ... Read more

We stayed here prior to a doctor appointment and found this to be a perfect stay! The restaurant is wonderful and the new building is perfect! Staff were friendly and accommodating! I am so glad a friend recommended this facility! It will be our go-to spot when we need to stay in this area!!!

We had a quick weekend stay in Morgantown as this is the middle town between all of our friends. The staff makes a place great and this Holiday Inn has a great staff. With three families with kids, they grouped us all together and helped make the weekend great. The pool is awesome. Simple but took care of the kids all day. The rooms were very clean and the whole place seem very new. Overall the hotel was very nice for a weekend stay. For the the downside, the onsite restaurant is alright.... Read more

Stayed one night on business. The hotel is very convenient to the University. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was new, fresh, and very clean. The restaurant was very nice, with very professional staff, and appeared to be quite popular. Overall, a very good experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Being top tier members in a variety of hotel rewards programs, our usual chain for cross country road trips is IHG (Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, etc). We are always slightly apprehensive when staying at a new location. However, this location exceeded all expectations! From a smart design - brightly lit lobby with two main entrances (from large lots in front and back) to the second most comfortable bed we've found. The room was large and comfortable, and the a/c did not wake us u every time it... Read more

We found ourselves looking for a room rather late in the day on a road trip through WV. Our GPS had died due to no cell service so we stopped and called this Holiday Inn directly. A helpful front desk clerk let us know that even though there had been a tornado the night before and lots of locals were staying there, they could accommodate our family of 4. The lobby is gorgeous and new. There is an onsite restaurant, but we took the advice of the clerk and ordered pizza from a local place tha... Read more

New, very clean, staff was super friendly, a man at the front desk (Keith or Kevin I believe) was very familiar with the city recommended us to an amazing Italian restaurant called Puglioni's nearby and printed out directions to two different location we needed to be at. Everyone on staff greeted us as we passed by. We had to do a room change due to our a/c unit not cooling properly, but was quickly resolved.

We stayed here for 1 night on our way to DC for vacation. We checked in around 12am with Shannon. She was on her cell phone and didn't stand up to check us in until I said something. I know no one else was around, but it was surprising she said the room number aloud when handing us the keys. The room was very clean and welcoming. Having worked in hotels I always inspect the room and it was perfect. The entire hotel was very clean. When we checked out the front desk was very friendly.

Had the worst OVER PRICED hotel stay ever in this hotel. Front desk clerk "CASSIE" was as unpleasant as they come. She was not only unprofessional but very condescending. Maintenance as well Is a joke. Makes you wonder how these people are even in the hotel business to begin with. One word describes the staff at this location "CLASSLESS" I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere if you are planning a trip to Morgantown Wv.

We stayed at the hotel for one night on our way to Ohio. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was clean and well equipped. Like the use of Keurig rather than the old Mr. Coffee machines. Very reasonable price.

I stayed one night and did not use the amenities. The room was perfect, very clean, new fixtures and a very comfortable bed. The front staff helped me find my way to a few shops. This is a new hotel and it was a pleasure to have that experience. I am going back in a month and will stay here again.

We enjoyed our couple of days at this hotel while my husband waited to have his surgery at Ruby. The staff was very friendly, and gave us a great hospital rate knowing we were stuck there a few days until my husband could have his surgery after driving several hours to get to the Emergency Department. They were very friendly and had great suggestions for dining on a budget. It is a nice, clean hotel with a nice modern tough. The rooms are large and clean. The pool was a little small, none-the-le... Read more

Very friendly service, comfortable beds and pet friendly! I was also impressed by how very clean it was. The Gym is open 24 hours a day and they have a pool that is open until 10pm. It's also nice that they have coffee and tea available in the lobby 24/7 and Keurigs in each room.

This hotel just opened in the spring of 2016. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to its guests. It is walking distance to Milan Puskar Stadium and Ruby Memorial Hospital. They have a very nice Restaurant called Atria's. Nothing fancy but a menu everyone will like and very reasonably priced. Rooms are clean, modern and equipped with all the necessary amenities. I highly recommend this hotel. Look for Krissy the sales manager. She will make sure your stay is enjoyable.

Stayed for a week while working on a local event. The entire staff was eager to help in anyway they could, from sending out mail to providing additional furniture and making many extra room key cards. Everything is incredibly clean and the free coffee is good too! Hope I have the opportunity to visit again.

Check in was the most horrifying experience I've ever had at a hotel. Maintenance needs to be completely overhauled. Management needs to be re taught customer service. NEVER STAY HERE!!!! Way overpriced for amenities

I have worked with the Holiday Inn Morgantown several times to book rooms for physician faculty for conferences/meetings at WVU Medicine, and my experience with the Director of Sales, Krissy Garrett, has been incredible. She is consistently timely in both email and phone responses. I appreciate her positive and can-do attitude!

Stayed here for a weekend for the Kansas State game (easy walk to the stadium). Myself and my friends were getting in early Friday AM after a road trip from NY. I spoke with the very attentive sales manager Kristy a few times throughout the month of September looking to check-in early when we arrive. She delivered and we were able to check-in at about 4am on the day of our reservation which was so so nice to be able to do after that long ride. I was very impressed with this particular Holiday Inn. It appeared very new as of 10/2016. The associated restaurant was way above average. The food tasted great and the atmosphere was excellent. The staff was very courteous. The room was plenty big and quiet. The shower was over sized.

Beautiful new hotel! We have never slept so well in any hotel bed. We were here for family weekend and our Freshman son came over and ended up falling asleep for a few hours. The room was immaculately clean and the water pressure is fantastic. We loved the large walk in shower where it was wide enough to turn around and not have the curtain touch you. We unfortunately didn't get to use the attached restaurant the pool or fitness area. We will absolutely try to stay here when we come back. Only ... Read more

Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Clean room and friendly staff. The daily rate was pricey because there was a local college football game in town and there was high demand for rooms. The buffet breakfast was disappointing. I went downstairs mid morning and food was cold (eggs, sausage and potatoes).

When visiting family for Thanksgiving, we stayed at this Holiday Inn for four nights. Our booking and check-in were handled very efficiently by friendly staff. Our room was very quiet, spacious and well-appointed, and the beds very comfortable.
