Centrally located near highway, clean and with a great staff, better gym than most and easy access to most of the historical battlefields and DC and Baltimore. Good place to stay to visit the overall area within 50 miles, the local area is disappointing in both dining options and entertainment. I use this area as a base for multi0-day, multi-site trips. Harpers Ferry is no longer what it once was, no local artisans and mostly dining establishments, with one good hiking shop and one good fair tra... Read more

hotel was great, applebee's in walking distance, free shuttle to race track every few minutes. leave early to get there, took 3 hours to get there and only 1 hour 15 minutes to get home due to traffic. everyone in this part of w.v. were much friendlier than in Baltimore where we live. had a king suite with a great view. you can make your own waffles for breakfast which was great but the rest of the buffet food was not edible and I can eat anything.

Drove thru town to see Harper's Ferry National Historical Park. The hotel was in a safe & quiet location off the main road where shops & mediocre restaurants are located. The hotel staff were kind and professional. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and showers worked well. The breakfast station was good. Parking at the back of the hotel was ample. Really no complaints at this establishment. As a frequent traveler, I would recommend this hotel for either business or pleasure.

Decent accommodations. Friendly enough staff. Vent in bathroom was broke and no option for a fridge and microwave in the rooms with king beds. Also the internet wouldn't connect in the room for whatever reason. Otherwise a good experience.

Newer hotel. Stayed two nights during visit to Antietam and Harper's Ferry National Battlefields. Very convenient location for those visits and near several restaurants and a gas station. No fridge or microwave in room, but otherwise just fine. Pleasant breakfast area. Not the greatest parking lot. Small indoor pool but I enjoyed it after a full day touring battlefields. Most guests seemed to be here for business.

This hotel is very very close to the casino and about a 20 minute drive to Harpers Ferry. The hotel was very clean and up to date. Everything went very smooth however, during check-in the rep failed to explain when and where breakfast was, where the pool is located, or even where the elevators were located (my wife and I assumed there was no breakfast and were very surprised to see staff cleaning up following breakfast the next morning). Besides this minimal hiccup everything was great.

Hands down the most enjoyable hotel I've ever stayed in. From cleanliness to a pampering staff, this was a hidden gem in the mountains. Everything in walking distance from a diner to a nice restaurant to an ice cream shop for the kids. A casino across the street. A pool with decent depth for swimming, hottest jacuzzi I've ever been in to constant towel and cleanliness maintenance. Great gym with everything I would have used had I not been so busy with the restaurants and nightlife.

The breakfast is a great perk and so is the shuttle which is never a long wait. Rooms are clean and I loved the pillows so much I purchased two when I got home. Harper's Ferry is close by and nice for a day outing. You can't go wrong when you stay here.

The stay in Charles Town was not long; however, it was relaxing and enjoyable. We arrived late at night, and was pleased that there was a 24 hour IHOP right across the hotel parking lot. The next morning, after using the pool and hot tub at the Hampton, spent the day at Harpers Ferry taking in the nice fall foliage.

Excellent in every way. Will return. Rooms were spotless. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food, while free, was good, prepared well, better than the usual free breakfast. Valve for dollar was great. Location was perfect (off the beaten path). Free shuttle was available around the clock.

I'm not sure if I'll continue to stay at this hotels. They have an outstanding staff but the quality of the room doesn't match the price of the stay. If the quality of the continual breakfast is improved, and some sort of promotions may make the value worth the price.

I stayed for 12 days for business. The front desk staff is fantastic. I had 3 requests for help during my stay and they addressed all issues timely and with a smile. The staff are all so friendly. Lots of breakfast options; waffles, eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, cereal, toast, bagels, juice, coffee and tea (all day). There are washers and dryers, a small pool and hot tub. The fitness room has treadmills, cycling and weights. The beds are comfy, too. Thank you!

Hotel suite is very spacious and clean. The separate sitting area was a nice touch. It was one of the most quiet hotels we have ever stayed at and the hotel staff was very inviting and helpful. Breakfast was great and breakfast area was clean and spacious.

The ladies at this Hampton Inn are very attentive and cook an excellent breakfast. They take care of all that is needed to ensure that there are plenty of options available, that the food is fresh and/or hot, and that guests are greeted with a smile. It is a pleasure to stay here knowing that in the morning, there is a delicious meal waiting. :-)

There are so many wonderful things to say about this Hampton Inn. For one Devon is such a sweetheart. She takes wonderful care of all the guests and does it with a smile. Always so happy. What an asset! Our room was very clean. We stayed in Room 114 in which was a king studio suite. Very nice large room. Love the separate kitchen area and how the bathroom sink is outside of the toilet/shower area. It had a sofa and a large desk area. Bed was comfortable and clean. Did not use the pool area, but ... Nice place, only issue we had was the lack of advertised Shuttle Service to and from Casino. Shuttle called twice, never showed.. we ended up driving.. The Shuttle was not busy, it was on call... but they never showed... Hotel very nice, surrounding area under construction; close to Casino, but not close or safe enough to walk at night..

The perfect hotel for easy access to all that Charles Town has to offer! We were greeted with a smile and were thoughtfully informed of all the great things to do in the area. An A+ for comfort, cleanliness, & knowledgeable staff! All the comforts of home in a beautiful hotel. Can't wait to stay here on our next trip.

We have stayed at the Inn at Charles Town in the past but as Hilton Honors members we wanted to stay at a Hilton-owned hotel. This is just as close to casino as the Inn and is much nicer; the shuttle to the casino comes right to the door all day and all night. It's a very nice hotel.

Was great for an overnight stay. Always love the Hampton bedding. There is a complimentary bus that runs every 15 to 20 minutes between hotel and casino/racetrack. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly.

So why a three? Bed - one star Literally everything else - 5 stars The staff was phenomenal. Friendly, courteous and enthusiastically engaged. Absolutely wonderful! Facilities including our king suite were new looking and spacious. We didn't swim, but have it on good authority from lots of kids that the hot tub and pool were awesome! My only problem was the bed. In room 524, the king bed was like my mom's sleep number bed, which she keeps on '100', which is like laying on a backboard after a ... Read more

I really liked the hotel. It was next to a small shopping plaza and there is a casino/racetrack across the street for those interested. The staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean. The design of the king suite was very nice. The only thing I didn't like was the fact the face bowl/sink sat out in the hall were everyone could watch you and that one has to come out of the bathroom to wash his/her hands or opt to wash them under the tap at the tub. The suite does have a small area wit... Read more

I had a very positive experience at this property. last month I spent 5 days at another property under the Hilton Brand and had a bad experience and vowed not to use the Hilton brand. However; I tried this property and was well pleased with the entire experience. I have been won over by this experience and will book Hampton Inns in the future.
