Typical Hampton Inn accommodations - clean guest rooms, hot breakfast, free internet. We were traveling to and from Charleston and found this location to be perfect. Easy on/off I-64 with plenty of dining choices.

Great Location, close to restaurants and interstate. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. However, if you any type of back problems you will have some issues. Beds were extremely soft and the pillows were even softer. Tossed and turned all night. No sleep for my husband and I.

I enjoyed my stay.My room was very nice. The bed was so comfortable on my bad back.Staff was pleasant and very helpful. There were only a few minor things that could be better. My tv dresser was a little dusty and the bottom shelf of the bathroom vanity. The round filter in the jetted tub had dark brown gunk around it.I was disappointed that the jets were only on the sides and not on the back area too.The breakfast was good.Just didn't like the gravy and the bacon wasn't crispy from being baked and ... Rooms are clean and presentable. Good value for the buck. Hot breakfast is ALWAYS a plus, especially with our kids. Right off highway, affordable, nice staff, can't really say anything bad about this place. Would stay here again.

We stayed here on May 18 & 19. Upon check out we were charged twice! Over a week later, money has not been refunded, and no one can tell me when it will be. Call Guest Inc. (owner of the hotel) number, no answer either! When I first reported the problem, I was told it would be refunded soon. Now it has been over a week.

Beginning refurbishing. Met minimum HHonors standards. Little or no discounts applied. Paid 1/3 more than Ashland, KY, just a few mile west on I-64, which was up to HHonors standards, and a joy to stop over there just a week before. Will bypass this one on I-64 route to St. Louis from Maryland.

The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were extra comfy. The breakfast was worth eating. The hotel is easy to get to and find off 64. I was there on business and the hotel is set up for business travelers.

This hotel was clean and welcoming. It was awesome that breakfast started at 6am. The boys loved the breakfast pizza. Our key cards were ready for all 10 rooms when we arrived. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel staff were real nice and helpful. The room was definitely quality - my husband noticed it right away. We will remember this place and try to use it again! The breakfast was spot on and the coffee as always good. We arrived late with no reservations but you'd had thought we were royalty with the treatment!

They do not acknowledge you as a DIAMOND member. Upon leaving requested to have my bill e-mailed to me had to call them 2 days later to have the e-mail billing sent it never was handled. Staff not very friendly you don't get the feeling that they want your business.

I have come to expect a great stay at a Hampton Inn for a reason: Hampton Inn is THE top moderately-priced chain. This was a one-night stay for my high school class reunion and, while I stayed less than 20 hours, every minute was filled with Hampton Inn quality. The staff is beyond courteous. I was treated like family. They were efficient, friendly, and more than accommodating. The room (a single king-sized bed) was large, comfortable, and very clean. The bathroom in a Hampton is always nice;... Read more

My husband and I are Hilton Honors members at the Silver level and I had made a guaranteed late arrival reservation for our stay at this hotel for a room with two queen beds since there were three of us ladies. We have stayed here at least once a year for the past several years as we travel throughout West Virginia on the annual Mountainquest Quilt Shop Hop. When we arrived at 7 P.M., Ryan--the desk clerk on duty-- explained that the hotel had been overbooked and there weren't any rooms availab... Read more

I will not be back! During construction, you don't charge this high price and put plastic on the windows. Felt like I was in jail. Won't be back and will not recommend to anyone! I can't say enough bad things about my stay. Was there for a funeral for four day and it was awful. Jail cell.

Hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice but the staff was exceptional. The lady's working the front desk and the lady maintaining the breakfast area went above and beyond to make you feel at home. I stayed there for 3 nights and I will definitely stay there every time I come for a visit.

We picked this one due to being in a convenient spot in our travels but I love that the Hampton chain never lets me down. They had extensive renovations going on out front but that didn't impact the lobby or the rooms. The place was clean, friendly, well-priced, and much better than a competitor we stayed at on the first leg of our trip. What a relief to walk in and know the room and bedding will be clean!

The hotel room was fine but at times the condition of hotel looks a little older when you take a closer look. No real problems with my stay. My room was fine, the bathroom could have been a little cleaner, and the breakfast area was clean. The person who checked us in could have been a little friendlier but I am kind of grumpy myself. I would stay here again if the price was right.

We usually stay in Hampton Inns when we travel and this one was basically just like the others as far as room layout, etc. it was an older Hampton Inn so the carpets and furnishings were a little worn but we were very comfortable. As always there is free wi fi for Hilton Honors members. The breakfast was very impressive as there was fresh fruit, yogurt, oatmeal with various toppings available, a waffle maker, eggs and sausage, coffee and juices. Everything was warm and replenished immediatel... Read more

Your hotel was Excellent except for the noise from under the connecting door from another guest. I even placed a towel in the crack at the bottom of the door, but the towel did not lessen the T.V., snoring, and a brief vomiting noises from the guest next door.

I originally booked this hotel because it had a pool, unfortunately, I booked it in August when the pool was still open. When we arrived in mid September, we were informed that the pool closes Labor Day. It would have been nice to have known that when I booked it. Other than that, we had a perfectly pleasant stay! I stay at this Hilton property approximately 20-25 nights a year and I'm never disappointed. You need to make a reservation early because the location is great and convenient. The staff at this Hampton Inn is very friendly and always willing to help every guest with any request or service needed. I give this hotel high marks because the staff works hard and the recent upgrades make it a very clean and comfortable place to stay.

No complaints at all. Friendly staff, clean rooms and conveniently located. We didn't try their complimentary breakfast on any of the days we were there as that's not a good fit for us, but it looked to be typical of what one would expect. We'll stay there again the next time we're in the area.

The beds at this hotel were awesome. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was sparse and not restocked very often. Sunday half the items were gone at 930. It wasn't supposed to end until 10 but they must expect their guests to just make do. No pack and plays, no luggage carts, pool was closed though it was 90° outside. Tiny parking lot with limited spaces.

This Hampton Inn property was a pleasant surprise. The staff seemed to genuinely care about the property, each other and the folks staying there. Our room was spotless, as was every inch of the public spaces. The breakfast was well-stocked and cheerfully attended to. Even a hotel-wide complication with the key system didn't seem to phase the staff - folks pitched in without complaint to get guests into their rooms.

I stayed there on business one night this past week. The hotel and room were clean, the receptionist friendly, there were no usual odors in the room, there was good water pressure in the shower and there was a nice breakfast included with the room. The hotel was very close to the highway. There is a sports bar/restaurant, Fat Patty's, within 100 feet of the hotel, which is also convenient. Very clean and convenient location. The Fireside Grill next door was very good and affordable. We traveled to Huntington to ride the train and it was very easy to get on the interstate from the hotel. It was about a thirty minute ride but traffic was not bad so it worked well for us. The hotels closer to Huntington were almost double the price per night!

Our room was quiet , the bed was firm, and there was plenty of hot water. The room was a bit worn down, but clean. We chose this motel because it was the only one in the area that claimed high-speed internet service, which we found satisfactory for video conferences. It was not the worst free breakfast we have ever had. Unless you need high-speed internet, you might find a better deal at other motels.
