They have made updates to the property. The bathroom floor was not clean. The AC units are rather noisy. Front desk staff are super friendly. Breakfast is very basic (bread, bagels, biscuits, eggs, sausage, yogurt, fruit, cereal, juice). The have cookies in late afternoon but grab them fast as they will be gone. Coffee available in the lobby until evening too.

Great location, great staff and a great breakfast. Sure it's got the usual cereal, coffee, bread, etc, but this place also has a pancake maker and double chocolate chip muffins! Snag some of those for the road! The rooms were very clean and a great 3 setting shower that helps if you've got to get a kink in your neck out! The only minor complaint I have the housekeeping staff knocked on my door about 3 times in one hour to see if I was leaving. This is before the noon checkout. Other than tha... Read more

The staff was very pleasant, knowledgeable and was kind enough to inform me to check out a bit early since you had Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders and Franklin Graham all coming to the area and road closures were going to begin. Breakfast was sub-par referring to the hot food, but this is a brand concern and not a direct reflection of the hotel, though the cinnamon rolls were the best part. Bed was great, I did not care to be on the first floor so much but at the end of the day I just needed a bed.... Read more

This was not a hotel I would choose to stay at again. The hotel had six floors and no quick way to get up and down from the sixth floor. The elevator was slow and the inspection certificate on the inside was expired by two months. It was the same for the rest of the property. The guestroom restroom was comparable to an interstate gas station bathroom. The breakfast was unappealing and the wifi did not work unless I sat by my entry door. It is what you would expect from a cheaply done renov... Read more

I have been staying here for quite some time. The management had been totally awesome, staff great and friendly, clean &nice rooms and bathroom, good breakfast, better than most. I have to be here 3 months, I don't mind with the service here. Room also has refrigerator and microwave, which is great for an express. I do wish they had a better rate for the extended rate, but I am over all pleased. Also great location, walking distance from mall, Hospital and so much more.

After a long journey from England via two flights a warm welcome greeted us and we checked in. Our rooms were clean and comfortable and after a great nights sleep we had a delicious buffet breakfast. Lots of choice and very fresh hot and cold food.

Six months after my first review of this hotel, I find myself back again. And you know what? Even after their front desk staff changed over, they are still the best in town because they keep hiring the best people. And that is the secret to hotel operations. Find the best people to staff the front desk, and customers will keep coming back. And this customer intends to keep coming back in the near future.

Check-in is fast, friendly and fun...thanks to the amazing Jami at the front desk. We enjoyed this place so much the first time we stayed here that we booked a room again on the return swing on our road trip. The rooms are clean and well appointed, the comp breakfast is tasty, and the location of this hotel can't be beat (within an easy stroll to the Black Sheep/Charleston Brewing Co. for great tacos and delicious beer) and other restaurants. Highly recommend.

There is nothing great about this hotel, but everything is exactly as you should expect. Friendly check in. Comfortable bed. Good linens. Quiet. Free breakfast (normal so so food). Room is reasonable size. Ample safe parking. Small work out room. Exactly perfect for a convenient place to stay.

Great stay while on a trip with my son and daughter. Check in was quick and the clerk was very friendly. We stayed in room 427. Beds were super comfy and loved having choices of pillows that were on the bed. Room was clean. I have a habit of "inspecting" rooms where I stay and the only thing I found was a small coffee spill in the bathroom under the vanity. Have stayed here several times, nearly every Friday for work. Have NEVER been upgraded and they prefer to have you speak with reservations rather than make it when you call. The shuttle driver constantly tells you to be 10 minutes early to accommodate flight crews schedule. Then you'll sit for 20-30 waiting on flight crew or special passengers. I have seen times when they've left someone when ALL of flight crew was early. Here's a novel idea, set a time and leave at that time , not after, not b... Read more

If you are attending an event at the Convention Center you will like the convenience this hotel has to offer--it is directly across the street. There is a handy courtesy van which will pick you up from the airport, and take you wherever you would like (I needed something from a pharmacy, and they took me and waited for me).
