Our reservations were made a month ahead, on-line. A standard 2 queen bedroom & adjoining well appointed bath. Easy access off the highway. They had a small wine tasting table set up, wine on was on sale. Our room was on the top floor facing the back parking lot. Great view of Walla Walla & early morning sun. BW invited us to pick our room #'s on-line the day of arrival. It was very clean, good beds (usual sagging on mattress edges where people sit) comfortable pillows, extra blanket which we need... We had a first floor king room. It was very large and well appointed for a hotel in this price range. The only detractor (keeping it from a 5 rating) was that our room (103) backed up to the kitchen. The noise started early as does their breakfast offering. Not too loud but noticeable as you come into a early morning light sleep. Avoid this room and it would be perfect. Staff was great and helpful.

Friendly staff, super clean. Would do it again. They used too much spray in the room (the gentlemen at the front desk said they use Febreeze). I asked that they not use it again the next day, he quickly made a note and they followed through. I love it when that happens! Breakfast was Hamptonish. But the room was great, all wired for computer or phone charging, USB ports. Free WiFi was on the slow side, upgrade to faster for $5/day. Wine Valley Golf Course was 15 minutes away and AMAZING!

A very good Walla Walla hotel but not within walking distance of downtown or Whitman College, though only about a ten minute drive. Our king room was spacious with windows we could open. The bathroom fan was constantly on. The sofa bed was as uncomfortable as most sofa beds are. Breakfast was hot and satisfying.

I enjoy staying at Hampton Inn & Suites in Walla Walla, I visit twice a year and have found their facility clean and inviting, their staff to be friendly and helpful. I've also enjoyed their breakfast and the readily available fruit, coffee and tea the rest of the time. It's a great place to stay when I am traveling for work.

This place is so awesome! Friendly and professional staff at our check in. The rooms are updated , granite counter tops in the bathrooms and very comfortable beds everything is so clean and the rooms are quiet. Ee didn't hear our neighbors once and the hotel was full. We were so impressed by the breakfast and fresh food options. This is my new favorite place to stay. Thank you!!

This is approximately our fourth time staying at the Hampton in Walla Walla. We have had great stays each time. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The only thing negative to the hotel is that the location is a bit far from downtown and the breakfast isn't spectacular. It's not bad, it's just that there is another hotel in town that has a much better breakfast but that hotel is also more expensive. The Hampton is a nice hotel at a great value.

Hampton Inns are always of high quality and this was no exception. The room, bathroom and shower were excellent. The breakfast area was very nice but the food was just OK and would work if you had kids to feed and needed to get on the road. Otherwise if you had the time I would go to a restaurant.

Booking a group is difficult due to response communication time. The Walla Walla Hampton Inn is expense for the quality amenities it offers. Their golf package did not come with a hotel gift as stated. By the time one pays the extra hotel and city tax at the higher golf rate it may be better to just book a room and buy your golf at the course. Breakfast service staff were grumpy when guests requested food items that had emptied by 7 a.m.

I was tired when I arrived here and decided to take a nap but awoke the next morning, thanks to the comfortable mattress and pillows! The staff was friendly and especially helpful after some confusion on the billing. I was with a group of people on a tour of the area, and the organization hosting the tour paid for our rooms. There was a mixup in communication on who was paying, but everything worked out well. The hot breakfasts are delicious, and there is a wide variety of items to choose from:... Read more

The Hampton Inn and Suites is located in the south end of Walla Walla, adjacent to the main highway. There are no nearby restaurants...better restaurants are located in the downtown district (about a 10 minute drive). The usual Hampton Inn experience. Nice building. Inviting front entrance. Lit and monitored parking lot. Excellent staff reception upon arrival. Quick and convenient check-in. Large, clean rooms...well furnished. Good location and facilities were good. Breakfast had a varied menu, but overall quality not so good. We were able to hear water in pipes from above. Room was comfortable and very clean. Used Stay & Play package which was well done. Biggest problem was slow internet and there was a $4.95 charge if you wanted "premium" internet. Unacceptable in this day & age in my opinion. Everyone person we encountered was professional, friendly, and accommodating. When we returned from a wine tasting, the gentleman at the front desk offered to open our bottle of wine and provided us with lovely wine glasses to borrow. The outdoor pool and hot tub are open year round and kept at a very warm temperature. Everything is clean and comforta... Read more

I think the rooms are clean and beds comfy. Nice size for the queen double rooms. My only complaint would be the be having more gluten free options for bread. I could only eat a couple things. I usually bring my own food anyway so I did not go hungry

This is our hotel of choice when we visit Walla Walla. They have a small, but adequate fitness facility. There is a pool and jacuzzi; however, they are located outside. Breakfast is included with several great choices. They also serve warm cookies in the late afternoon. I really appreciate the fact there's lots of seating in the lobby/dining area for people to hang out to sit and chat. It's located within a mile of several restaurants and shops. Welcoming and relaxing.

Was in Walla Walla for Parent's Weekend at Walla Walla University. The room was very nice and the bed was so comfortable. Room nice and clean. Towels are very scratchy but my stay was excellent! As I was leaving the gentleman at the front desk commented on my Denver Broncos shirt and I commented that the colors of the hotel matched!

This Hampton has a great breakfast space and is located conveniently. The desk staff greeted me well and were helpful throughout my stay. Rooms were clean and nicely laid out. It is a quiet location. I'd definitely stay here again.

Clean, quiet and a friendly staff. Beds were very comfortable without a lot of foo foo to move aside. Rooms were spacious and tidy. Easy location and a quick drive or bike ride to the city center. Wish the fridge would have been turned on and ready. Breakfast, Meh. Nice coffee bar. Great lobby.

Really surprised by all the amenities this place had to offer and will definitely stay there again. Very helpful service all around. Rooms nice with the exception of a couple of things: (1) bedside lights are just full-on blinding - no way to turn them down; (2) AC also is either TURBO or off. Good thing you can open the windows to cool down the room; (3) no in-room safe.

We stayed here to visit family in town. We had a king size room with micro and fridge. A little noisy on the fridge but didn't bother us. This is usually first choice because of the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. Breakfast is always a plus. Waffles, bacon, eggs, fruit ....

This hotel is reasonably priced, always clean and a great front desk. Beds/linens/towels are nice and four pillows on each bed gives you all that you need for a good nights rest. When we checked in, I noticed they have bananas and apples but in the morning (two mornings) they didn't have bananas ... a staple for me in the morning. The Inn in Kennewick and all other times I've stayed in Walla Walla always have bananas. IF they are limited, they should stagger when they put them out so everyon... Read more

Overall the accommodations are nice. However; the staff was not trained to check for additional rooms. We requested a 2nd room to adjoin the one we reserved and were told there were none. Then later when we discovered there was some leak either from behind the wall in our room or from the room next door, we discovered the adjoining room was vacant. The staff did not offer to give us a new room to move us from the wet one, nor did they offer any upgrades for our inconvenience.

We used this hotel as our base for touring wineries around the Walla Walla area. This hotel worked well for our basecamp, but is not close to dining options...plan on driving for food. The rooms are fine and are typical for a Hampton Inn...will stay here again the next time we visit wineries in Walla Walla.

Friendly staff and overall clean and comfortable facility which is quite new. No problems except for a tree in parking lot that rained toxic berries of some kind all over my car on a windy night. Other than that it was a very comfortable place to stay with a good breakfast selection and friendly staff.
