The room was large and not of a cookie-cutter design. The evening manager's reception and morning breakfast are a model for other hotels. Check in was quick and painless. My bedding was clean but very tired, and the property is generally nearing time for renovation.

Great service by staff and the amenities were comprehensive (e.g., fitness center, kitchenette, breakfast and evening social). I had difficulty sleeping due to the noise of the train and service trucks. The key card reader did not work properly so it took several attempts to enter my room each time. I am allergic to dairy so I was not able to take full advantage of the meal options. The breakfast potatoes were either under- or over-cooked each day but the sausage served was better-than-expected.

We choose Homewood Suites because of the location to the airport and the light rail. The hotel has a shuttle to and from the airport and a schedule for going to the light rail. 30 minutes to downtown and everything is in walking distance. Rates were much better than downtown.

Stayed here 3 nights. Overall experience was average. We stayed in room with 1 king bed. I have diamond status with hilton but that did not mean much at this hotel. Room was clean. House keeping did miss one day of cleaning. There is a train track behind hotel so avoid a room in back of hotel. If you want a place that is large at a reasonable price then this hotel meets that criteria. Just don't expect too much.

For the premium price you pay to stay here you'd expect to at least have a decent breakfast with a good cup of coffee, right? Not here. A crowd waited for many minutes for food that when it finally arrived was inedible. Biscuits tasted like soap and eggs like salt bombs. When coffee was brought out the pot pumps wouldn't work. We stayed at this hotel once for two days. Both days they rain out of some major food items (during early hours of evening reception and at breakfast the next morning). I've stayed at this property many times over the years and it's starting to show its age. They have dead bolted the doors to the balconies so you can no longer use them (fire hazard?) even though the chairs are still out there. Still a good place to stay close to the airport and walking distance to a amusement center for the kids.

The service was great. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and the room with the 2 double beds in it was really tight. The bed was so close to the closet that you couldn't even roll your suitcase near it, and you can't move the bed. My other complaint about this property is that the mattress on the sofa bed is basically just springs, very uncomfortable and the breakfast on Saturday was very skimpy. I thought this would be a Hilton product with typical standard quality. It was horrible. The hallway smelled like vomit and the carpets were filthy. The elevator hadn't been vacuumed since the turn of the century. If you want a clean place...this is not the place for you. Sleep in your car!

Jamie at the front desk was delightful and very helpful! Complimentary breakfast was good with pretty good variety. The evening complementary social was great!! My 3 week stay was wonderful! Property is close to SEA-TAC and shopping and downtown Renton

I have stayed at this hotel for about 4 months total this year for business. It has been an excellent experience! Rooms were great, big enough to be comfortable nothing to complain about. All of the staff was extremely helpful and professional. All of the front desk staff made us feel like we were at home for our whole stay. The ones that I had the most interaction with were Tori she was amazing and always there to help, Mykel(not sure if I spelled that right) he was always cheerful and great at... Read more

Nice place to stay. They are currently renovating but even the rooms that weren't renovated were good. The staff (Joyce, Tori, Jamie, Katsumi, Mikkel, and Aurelia) really are what made the stay. They greeted you ever time you entered the lobby, immediately took care of any need and were great host during the breakfast and evening Manager's social - really made you feel like you were staying with friends. The complimentary breakfast was good and had good variety day to day. The Manager's social w... Read more

The rooms are spacious and the amenities are perfect. The staff is very friendly and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast is great and each weeknight the drinks and appetizers (could be dinner for most) are fantastic. The location is perfect for those with meetings in and around Southcenter and its easy to get to from SeaTac.

I always request this hotel when I am in the area for business. The rooms are large, there is a complimentary breakfast and evening social Monday through Thursday and everyone is really nice! I especially love the ability to cook if I want with the small kitchen area and there is even a walking path along the river if you need some fresh air!

Could be cleaner, Front desk was friendly, have to photocopy credit card for some reason and couldn't explain it to me. Trash was under sofa bed. Room rated as average because of cleanliness other than that the room would have been very good. The next day cleaning crew showed up after 3pm to clean and ask if we needed anything from them.

The rooms are nice, beds comfy, breakfast isn't too bad, but no non-pork options for meat. The dinners aren't bad either. The only negative is say is the staff needs a bit more training on how to give good customer service. I actually spent five minutes in front of the front desk while the employee spoke on the phone without even acknowledging my presesne or having the decency to say I'll be right with you. I was ignored while he finished his conversation, that wasn't even to another guest I mig... Read more

This hotel is a great base for those travelling to the starfire facility in Seattle. The facility is within walking distance and also easy access to the airport and local restaurants and shops. We also found that Downtown Seattle was only a 25 minute drive away.
